    Life in Islamic boarding schools is considered effective for achieving psychological well- being because students are active in beneficial activities. In the formation of the personality of adolescent students, understanding their psychological well-being is important, including physical changes during puberty, especially in adolescent girls.Due to hormonal influences during puberty, each adolescent experiences different physical changes. So that it often makes the psychological well-being of adolescent girls disturbed related to questioning their body shape and makingsocial comparisons. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of body dissatisfaction and social comparison on psychological well-being. The population in this research was 948 female students. The sampling technique used the Krejcie Morgan table and obtained a sample of 255 female students. Data were collected using scales of body dissatisfaction, social comparison, and psychological well-being. This research method is quantitative correlation with multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 29. Based on simultaneous testing (F test) of 44,457 and significance p <0.001

    GUIDED CONVERSATION TECHNIQUE IN EFL CLASSROOMS: SUPPORTING SPEAKING SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

    This study explored the implementation of guided conversation techniques in supporting speaking skills development among tenth-grade EFL students through a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews and guided classroom observations. Findings indicated that the guided conversation technique positively influenced students' speaking proficiency, notably in fluency, vocabulary mastery, pronunciation, grammar, and sentence construction. Importantly, students reported increased confidence and reduced anxiety when speaking English, highlighting the emotional benefits of structured conversational practice. Observations also confirmed increased student participation, interaction, and engagement, supported by consistent and constructive teacher feedback. While some students still encountered challenges such as pronunciation difficulties and shyness, ongoing teacher support significantly mitigated these issues. Overall, the guided conversation technique emerged as a practical instructional approach, enhancing both linguistic skills and emotional readiness in EFL classrooms. Recommendations include incorporating differentiated scaffolding and further qualitative research in varied educational contexts

    Media pembelajaran memiliki peranan yang sangat penting pada proses pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan minat, motivasi serta ketertarikan peserta didik terhadap pelajaran yang disampaikan. Namun pada kenyataannya menunjukkan bahwa dalam proses pembelajaran, media yang digunakan oleh guru ketika proses pembelajaran belum meningkatkan minat peserta didik. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan dan mengetahui kelayakan Media Pembelajaran Matematika berbasis Augmented Reality pada Materi Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan, jenis penelitian ini merupakan metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu dan menguji keefektifan produk tersebut. Model penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan ialah model pengembangan ADDIE, model ini memiliki lima tahapan, yang pertama Tahap Analysis, yang kedua Tahap Design, yang ketiga Tahap Development, yang keempat Tahap Implementation, dan yang terakhir ialah Tahap Evaluation. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pengembangan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa Media Pembelajaran Matematika berbasis Augmented Reality pada Materi Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar berhasil dikembangkan dan mendapatkan nilai dengan kriteria sangat layak berdasarkan penilaian dari beberapa ahli dan Respon Peserta Didik. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah pentingnya menggunakan media pembelajaran ketika dikelas agar bisa lebih meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik.Instructional media plays a crucial role in the learning process by enhancing students' interest, motivation, and engagement with the lessons presented. However, in practice, the teaching materials used by teachers during lessons often fail to increase students' interest. This research and development study aims to produce and assess the feasibility of AR (Augmented Reality)-based Mathematics Instructional Media on the topic of Three-Dimensional Shapes. This study is a type of Research and Development, which is a research method used to create a specific product and test its effectiveness. The Research and Development model employed in this study is the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Based on the results of this research and development, it can be concluded that the AR-based Mathematics Instructional Media on the topic of Three-Dimensional Shapes was successfully developed and received an excellent rating according to the assessments from various experts and student responses. The implication of this study is the importance of using instructional media in the classroom to enhance student’s learning interest

    This study aims to see how the lives of female workers who work at PT. Bakrie Pasaman Plantation, Koto Balingka District, West Pasaman Regency in 1998-2020. The method used in this study is the historical method through four stages, namely, heuristics, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. The results of this study indicate that the large-scale acceptance of women on the plantation of PT. Bakrie Pasaman Plantation in 1998 was due to the expansion of plantation land and the need for additional workers. women who work at PT. Bakrie Pasaman Plantation generally have low education, because they do not need higher education to work as laborers on oil palm plantations. The factors that encourage them to work as laborers are to meet the family's economy, have low education and feel bored. As laborers, women are able to improve the family's economy, improve their children's education and facilities (vehicles, communication tools and household furniture)

    This research aims to determine history learning strategies at SMA Negeri 48 Jakarta. This research used qualitative methods. Data collection techniques in this research were observation, interviews and documentation. The data sources used in this research consisted of core informants that include the history subject teacher and class X IPS 1 students, totaling 36 students. The results of this research show that teachers use different learning strategies. History subject teachers are more synonymous with providing historical understanding through discussions, assignments, mind mapping, emphasizing students' individual ability to speak in public, and a responsible attitude, as well as historical understanding through lectures, questions and answers, group assignments using power point media and emphasizing abilities. individual or group to be able to speak in public and a sense of responsibility

    Factors Affecting Implementation and Perceived Changes in the New Social Studies Curriculum: Erbil, Sulaymaniyah and Duhok Regions in Iraq as an Example

    This study investigates the factors affecting implementation and perceived changes in the New Social Studies Curriculum across Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, and Duhok regions in Iraq. Through semi-structured interviews with twenty social studies teachers, the research identifies and analyzes key implementation factors including resource availability, time constraints, teacher training, student engagement, assessment methods, administrative support, and curriculum alignment. The findings reveal significant implementation challenges related to curriculum complexity, teacher preparedness, and regional variations in resource distribution. Teachers reported evolving professional roles, from content delivery to facilitating critical thinking, fostering historical empathy, and promoting cultural appreciation. The study contributes to curriculum implementation theory by demonstrating how contextual factors in post-conflict settings influence reform efforts, while providing evidence-based recommendations for enhancing professional development, resource provision, and administrative support to improve implementation effectiveness across the three regions

    The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between servant leadership and organizational performance. The participants in this study were nurses at Dirgahayu Hospital with a total of 105 subjects. Sampling using simple random sampling. Data collection tools using organizational performance scale and scale development and construct clarification of servant leadership with quantitative methods. Data analysis using correlation test hypothesis technique using SPSS version 26.0 windows program. the results showed that: (1) there is a relationship between servant leadership and organizational performance with the value of F count = 1.822> F table = 3.97 and P value = 0.046. (2) there is a positive correlation between servant leadership and organizational performance with the value of R count 0.305 > R table 0.227 and the value of P = 0.000

    Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Stunting pada Balita di Kabupaten Ponorogo: Penurunan Prevalensi dan Peran Kebijakan Sosial Ekonomi

    Kesehatan anak adalah prioritas utama dalam pembangunan suatu negara. Stunting adalah kondisi kekurangan gizi kronis sejak masa kehamilan hingga 1000 hari pertama kehidupan. Menurut Survei Status Gizi Indonesia (SSGI) prevalensi Kabupaten Ponorogo turun di angka 14,2% pada tahun 2022 dibandingkan tahun 2021 yang mencapai angka 21%. Sedangkan pada tahun 2023 prevalensi turun menjadi 13,1%. Penelitian analitik observasional dengan desain cross-sectional dan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di lima desa penanganan stunting di Kabupaten Ponorogo yaitu, Desa Karangpatihan, Desa Binade, Desa Paringan, Desa Wagir Kidul, dan Desa Pudak Wetan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu balita (12-59 bulan) dengan jumlah sampel 105 responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis Univariat dan analisis Bivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan pendapatan keluarga dengan kejadian stunting pada balita (p=0.0030.05), tidak ada hubungan kepemilikan jamban keluarga dengan kejadian stunting (p=0.502>0.05), tidak ada hubungan bantuan sosial dengan kejadian stunting (p=0.842>0.05), dan ada hubungan jaminan layanan kesehatan dengan kejadian stunting (p=0.044<0.05). Pemerintah disarankan untuk intervensi pada program peningkatan pendapatan keluarga, memperkuat jaminan kesehatan, dan meninjau efektivitas bantuan sosial dalam upaya mengurangi stunting. Layanan kesehatan juga diharapkan lebih proaktif dalam edukasi, penyuluhan dan pencegahan stunting. Selain itu, kerjasama dengan program kesejahteraan sosial diperlukan untuk membantu masyarakat yang membutuhkan

    USING “TANGRAM SULTAN” (FOLKSTORY GAMES) FOR INTRODUCING ANGLES AND SIDES AT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

    Many students struggle to recognize sides and angles, especially when shapes are irregular. Since playing is a natural activity for children, it can be used as an effective learning strategy. This study aims to develop a game-based learning media to help elementary school students learn geometry. The media developed is called Tangram Sultan, a geometry game combined with folklore from the Siak Sultanate in Riau. This study presents the development of Tangram Sultan using the ADDIE development model. The Tangram Sultan game was tested at SD IT Alfityah Pekanbaru Riau. The Tangram Sultan game is used as a medium to develop students' understanding of the angles and sides of various shapes of two-dimensional figures with the following activity stages: (1) introduction of Tangram Sultan media, (2) use of media according to learning objectives, and (3) evaluation of learning process. These media have been successful in helping students to identify angles and sides and count the number of sides and angles found in various unusual two-dimentional figures. Results showed that the media successfully helped students identify and count sides and angles in irregular shapes. 66% of students correctly identified the number of sides, and 69% correctly identified the number of angles. The game also made the classroom environment more fun and engaging. This study opens up possibilities for teachers to use a combination of different games in local contexts

    Aritmatika sosial adalah salah satu materi yang cukup urgent dan bermanfaat untuk kehidupan siswa itu sendiri, namun siswa terkendala dalam memahami soal-soal cerita kontektual, diantaranya siswa masih bertanya maksud dari soal cerita tersebut, dan siswa belum secara sistematis dalam melakukan pemecahan masalah tersebut. Oleh karena  itu, guru harus dapat menyusun pembelajaran yang menarik dan dapat menggali lebih dalam kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan suatu persoalan, yaitu menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis pemecahan masalah dengan menggunakan konteks makanan tradisional Muba “Kecepan Tungkus”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan lintasan belajar dan meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dengan menggunakan konteks makanan tradisional MUBA “Kecepan Tungkus”. Penelitian ini terdiri atas 4 (empat) aktivitas, yaitu: (1) aktivitas merancang produk yang berkaitan dengan harga beli; (2) aktivitas membuat produk yang berkaitan dengan harga jual; (3) aktivitas menjual produk yang berkaitan dengan untung/rugi; (4) aktivitas penyelesaian soal-soal pemecahan masalah. Metode yang digunakan dalampenelitian ini, yaitu design research tipe validation studies, terdiri dari 3 tahapan, yaitu preparation and design, design experiment dan retrospective analysis. Teknik pengumpulan data  pada penelitian ini menggunakan pengamatan (observasi), wawancara, lembar aktivitas dan pretest/posttest. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa lintasan belajar yang rancang untuk memberikan pemahaman konsep yang mendalam bagi siswa serta menjadi solusi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah, khususnya pada materi aritmatika sosial
