Study and typological-decorative classification of the trullae produced in Hispanic terra sigillata
Within the repertoire of Hispanic tableware produced in terra sigillata, we find a series of shapes that have hardly been studied, among them the trulla, or shape Hisp. 81, characterized by its decorated handle, although it was also made smooth. Throughout this article, we will expose a new classification typology. We will also proceed to interpret its decorations and functionality, which is closely related to religious ceremonies and festivities, as well as the comissatio.
Stress, Resilience, Burnout and Study Hours in Physical Education Pre-Service Teachers—An Explanatory Model about Gender
The process of becoming a public teacher in Spain requires a long period of preparation. This long period of preparation has an impact on the psychosocial environment of the candidates. Differences have been observed in the psychosocial area according to gender in pre-service teachers. This research aims to study the relationship between the study hours per day, stress, burnout syndrome and resilience according to gender and to study the differences in the effects according to gender using multigroup equation modeling. A multigroup structural equation analysis has been proposed according to the gender of the participants. Parametric tests were used for the descriptive analysis of the results. The sample consists of 4117 participants, 1363 males and 2754 females. The instruments used to collect the data were a self-made questionnaire, Perceived Stress Questionnaire, Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale and Maslach Burnout Inventory. All the instruments have been validated and adapted to the sample. The data reveal that there are variations in the effects of the variables according to the gender of the participants. In conclusion, it is affirmed that gender is a very important factor in coping with the competitive examination process for state-public-teaching institutions, as well as in avoiding the appearance of disruptive states generated by this preparation process
Psychological Abuse in Jurisprudence Associated with Cults and Manipulative Groups: A Transcultural Study on Five Convictions
Groups of Psychological Abuse (GPAs) are hierarchical groups made up of one or several leaders and members who persistently and systematically use manipulative and coercive strategies to subjugate other people. The general aims of this study were (1) to obtain evidence of psychological abuse through the analysis of five sectarian cases and (2) to provide support for the taxonomy proposed by Rodríguez-Carballeira et al. (2015). An abductive content analysis extracted indicators from five case studies using court transcripts as secondary data sources. Results revealed 26 psychological abuse strategies, with the most prevalent category being control of personal life (41.9%), followed by emotional abuse (14.9%), and control and manipulation of information (14.7%). The most frequently used strategies of abuse were control over sexual life and emotional relationships, control-weakening of the psychophysical state, and manipulation of information. These findings suggest implications for prevention and intervention in both the psychological and legal context
Ultrarapid Insulin Use Can Reduce Postprandial Hyperglycemia and Late Hypoglycemia, Even in Delayed Insulin Injections: A Connected Insulin Cap-Based Real-World Study
Objectives: Reaching optimal postprandial glucose dynamics is a daily challenge for people with type 1 diabetes (T1D). This study aimed to analyze the postprandial hyperglycemic excursion (PHEs) and late postprandial hypoglycemia (LPH) risk according to prandial insulin time and type.
Research Design and Methods: Real-world, retrospective study in T1D using multiple daily injections (MDI) analyzing 5 h of paired continuous glucose monitoring and insulin injections data collected from the connected cap Insulclock®. Meal events were identified using the rate of change detection methodology. Postprandial glucometrics and LPH (glucose <70 mg/dL 2–5 h after a meal) were evaluated according to insulin injection time and rapid (RI) or ultrarapid analog, Fiasp® (URI), use.
Results: Meal glycemic excursions (n = 2488), RI: 1211, 48.7%; UR: 1277, 51.3%, in 82 people were analyzed according to injection time around the PHE: −45 to −15 min; −15 to 0 min; and 0 to +45 min. In 63% of the meals, insulin was injected after the PHE started. Lower PHE was observed with URI versus RI (glucose peak-baseline; mg/dL; mean ± standard deviation): 106.7 ± 35.2 versus 111.2 ± 40.3 (P = 0.003), particularly in 0/+45 injections: 111.6 ± 40.2 versus 118.1 ± 43.3; (P = 0.002). One third (29.1%) of participants added a second (correction) injection. The use of URI and avoiding a second injection were independently associated with less LPH risk, even in delayed injections (0/+45), (−36%, odds ratio [OR] 0.641; confidence interval [CI]: 0.462–0.909; P = 0.012) and −56% (OR 0.641; CI: 0.462–0.909 P = 0.038), respectively.
Conclusions: URI analog use as prandial insulin reduces postprandial hyper- and hypoglycemia, even in delayed injections

Prisoners in Spain also have the right to communicate and freely express their thoughts and ideas. This condition can be a reason to implement media literacy workshops in prisons, using radio as a tool for communication and expression. Even though they are not exempt from institutional control, as they are integrated into the so-called Individualized Penitentiary Treatment Plan, prisoners enhance their social and personal dimensions through these radio experiences, which function as a tool for rehabilitation and recovery. The article uses a qualitative methodology to analyze letters written by prisoners published in a book and interviews with 26 other inmates, all participants in Spanish prison radio programs, to understand their perception of the advantages of carrying out this activity. Through discourse analysis, it is possible to observe how they recognize improvements in their communication skills, self-perception of their abilities,
enhanced self-esteem, improved relationships with others, and motivation to learn. The article concludes that these workshops help achieve the empowering objective of penitentiary treatment, although they still need a communication-oriented perspectivePrisoners in Spain also have the right to communicate and freely express their thoughts and ideas.
