Annette was born in Germany, but moved to the United States later in life and attended John T. Hoggard High School. She is a Media Specialist with the New Hanover County School system. Michael works at IKA
New Hanover High School 2005-2006 Men's Basketball Team

Ty Walker (1989- ) was born in Wilmington, NC. He went to New Hanover High School and played center on the basketball team. The team went 30 and 4 his senior year, and won the 4-A State Championship. Walker graduated in 2006 and was the 17th ranked prospect in the country. He went on to play at Wake Forest University, where he was the final player recruited and signed by Coach Skip Prosser before he passed away. He was one of the top shot-blockers in the history of the school

Richard Daughtry
Richard Daughtry in his bookstore, Old Books on Front Street, 22 N. Front Street.
An institution in Wilmington, NC since 1982, Daughtry's Old Books on Front Street has survived several moves to its present incarnation at 249 S. Front. Daughtry is a native of Goldsboro, NC who moved to Wilmington after his service in World War II. He opened his bookstore in the Gaylord Building on Front Street in 1982. The Gaylord Building has been used as location for many films, and the bookstore has rented books as props as well. After 25 years Mr. Daughtry sold his store to longtime patron Gwenyfar Rohler, the current manager. The store, now called Old Books on Front Street, moved across the street from its old location due to structural problems with the Gaylord Building
