No full textThe subject of mosque architecture is treated in this article through an interview held by Viola Bertini with Salma Samar Damluji. The article investigates the relationship of Damluji to mosque architecture from a personal perspective, as a landmark within the town and cityscape. The relationship of contemporary mosques and the movement of modern architecture in Baghdad, the city where the interviewee lived is associate with the historic influences, architecture, and crafts of original distinguished mosques like Samarra in Iraq. Bertini further probes into Damluji’s spectrum and development during her studies at the AA in London, with research delving into Islamic art, geometry, and calligraphy, through associations and junctures that consolidated her line of inquiry and inspiration towards "another" architecture. The specificity of the design is then analysed through Hassan Fathy’s Mosque Architecture Manual, which they jointly worked on in 1975–76. Throughout the discussion, the meaning and synchroneity of the mosque structure, physicality, and aesthetics in the Arab city, as well as Islamic discipline and knowledge, are revealed and enforced. Modern projects in the Islamic world are discussed, and examples are cited. This paper elaborates on the Shaykh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, which Damluji was responsible for, with the participation of a wide range of renowned artists, architects, craftsmen, and designers. We will be doing a survey that will be answered by over 200 people that will let us know what the people desire in the kayaking industry right now.
After knowing what the people want, there will be a sketching and designing phase, then the prototype, models, manufacturing process and lastly the expected result is to have a functioning kayak with a new idea that hasn’t been done before

Full text linkPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan wujud pelecehan seksual serta faktor penyebab terjadinya pelecehan seksual dalam novel Dear Nathan Thank You Salma. Penelitian ini juga mendeskripsikan dampak pelecehan seksual terhadap kondisi psikis tokoh perempuan dan bentuk perlawanan tokoh terhadap adanya pelecehan seksual dalam novel Dear Nathan Thank You Salma. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah novel karya Erisca Febriani yang berjudul Dear Nathan Thank You Salma dengan difokuskan pada perlawanan tokoh yang dikaji menggunakan teori feminisme. Dan diperoleh dengan teknik baca dan catat. Validitas data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah validitas semantis dan ditunjang dengan reabilitas intrarater. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) wujud pelecehan seksual dalam novel Dear Nathan Thank You Salma adalah sexual assault; (2) faktor yang menjadi penyebab terjadinya pelecehan seksual yakni faktor sosial dan budaya; (3) dampak atas pelecehan seksual yang dialami oleh korban adalah dampak psikologis dan dampak perilaku; (4) bentuk perlawanan dalam novel Dear Nathan Thank You Salma dikelompokkan menjadi perlawanan terbuka dan perlawanan tertutup. DEPRESI PADA TOKOH SALMA DALAM NOVEL HELLO SALMA KARYA ERISCA FEBRIANI KAJIAN PSIKOLOGI SASTRA
Full text linkPenelitian ini membahas tentang depresi yang terjadi pada tokoh Salma dalam novel Hello Salma karya Erisca Febriani. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkapkan dan menguraikan (1) struktur kepribadian tokoh Salma seperti id, ego, dan superego, (2) penyebab depresi tokoh Salma, (3) bentuk depresi tokoh Salma. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah struktur kepribadian Sigmund Freud. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kepustakaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik kualitatif dengan 3 tahap, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa (1) id tokoh Salma ingin masuk kuliah jurusan Sastra Indonesia tetapi superego yaitu orang tua menyuruh untuk masuk Fakultas Kedokteran dan respons ego memutuskan mengikuti superego, (2) penyebab tokoh Salma tertekan atas tuntutan orang tua serta kegagalannya untuk mewujudkan ambisi kedua orang tua, dan (3) tokoh Salma mengalami gangguan depresif mayor dengan gejala mood depresi, kehilangan minat pada aktivitas harian, penurunan berat badan, insomnia, perasaan tidak berharga, perasaan bersalah, perasaan terbebani, perasaan hampa, berkurangnya kemampuan berfikir, dan gangguan fungsi sosial
