Economic Dynamics: The Interconnection Of Trade Balance, Exchange Rate, Inflation, And Imports In The Context Of Empirical Data
This study investigates the dynamics and interrelationships among trade balance, exchange rates, inflation, and imports within an empirical data context. Vector Error Correction Estimates are employed to analyze the dataset comprising 55 observations. The cointegrating equation suggests a significant association between lagged values of trade balance, exchange rates, inflation, and imports. For LN_IMPOR, the ADF test statistic is -2.47078, with a p-value of 0.1278. This indicates that LN_IMPOR may have a unit root, although the evidence is not strong enough to reject the null hypothesis of a unit root. Similarly, the ADF test for LN_INFLASI yields a test statistic of -1.5503, with a p-value of 0.5013. Again, there is not sufficient evidence to reject the null hypothesis of a unit root for LN_INFLASI. As for LN_KURS, the ADF test statistic for the level and first difference is -1.71583 and -6.8652, respectively. The corresponding p-values are 0.4181 and 0, indicating strong evidence against the presence of a unit root in the first difference of LN_KURS. However, for the level of LN_KURS, the available evidence is not significant enough to reject the null hypothesis. The results indicate that changes in the trade balance from the previous period positively impact exchange rates, while inflation demonstrates a negative influence. Moreover, imports show a strong positive relationship with trade balance. The error correction analysis reveals that deviations from the long-term equilibrium exhibit significant adjustments towards the equilibrium path. Overall, these findings contribute to understanding the complex interactions among economic variables and provide insights for policymakers and researchers in designing effective economic policies. Marketing analysis of salt in Sumenep Dsitrict, East Java
Sumenep District is one of salt producing areas in Indonesia. Salt plays an important role in almost all industrial processes and production because salt does not have a substitute good, therefore salt becomes a strategic commodity. So far, the link of the salt chain trade system is controlled by several companies, where downstream activities are dominated by large -scale industry with strong network while upstream activities are dominated by salt management activities with simple technology (Ministry of Marine and Fisheries, 2012). In the marketing process, farmers are conditioned as marginal salt producers which cannot contribute, both in price determination and the technical determination of the quality of the salt produced. This is due to the limited access for farmer to get the information about quality and price developments that make the majority of farmers to have weak bargaining position then finally have the tendency to be the price taker. This condition then becomes worse because of other factors such as limited facility and infrastructure, limited access to capital, and limited access to enter the market that lead farmers to limitation choice for marketing channels. Based on the condition above, author expects that the salt marketing in Sumenep today is inefficient. Therefore, Analysis of salt marketing by using structure, conduct and performance (SCP) approach is needed. This study aims to analyze the structure, conduct and performance of salt market in Sumenep. Research locations were selected intentionally (purposive), while respondents were randomly selected (simple random sampling) through their marketing chain. The analysis showed that the salt marketing in Sumenep is inefficient, unfair and not transparent. It is concluded by structure, conduct, and performance approach of the salt market. Structure analysis indicated that the market structure of the salt industry in Sumenep tends to be oligopsonistic. It is inferred from several indicators: (a) the unbalanced number of participants (between sellers and buyers) in the market, (b) high market concentration which dominated by few competitors, (c) the existence of barriers to entry the market, from the capital, networks, licensing to technology. Conduct analysis for the market suggested that there is a dominant institution for marketing activities; the processing company. Cooperation and dishonest practices also occur in the marketing process. Dishonest practices can be seen from (a) the collective traders are also agents (accomplices) of a company, ( b) the salt sale does not accompanied by accurate weighing (c) dominant price is determined by these marketing agencies. Market performance analysis showed that the salt marketing is not yet efficient. Uneven profit with the remuneration in the marketing functions performed, the low farmer share in all channels (≤20%), and also the unintegrated market, both in the short run and long run become the causal factor why the increasing price in the retail level can not be transmitted to the farm level
CITATION AND TENSE FOR REVIEWING PREVIOUS RESEARCH IN THE INRODUCTION SECTION OF ENGLISH 35 SCIENCE JOURNALS BY NON-NATIVE SPEAKERS.
The aim of this study is to explore the citation pattern in relation to tense choice for reporting pastliterature in the Introduction section of English research articles by non-native speakers. Since theresearch dealt with one type of papers, i.e. research articles, Genre Analysis was adopted. Theresults indicate that in terms of types, IPC (Information Prominent Citation) referring to generalareas of research is much more dominant than APC (Author Prominent Citation) referring tospecific areas whereas in the standard pattern the number of APC should be more dominant thanIPC since IPC only functions as an “opening move” for reporting past literature. As IPC is moredominant than APC, the present tense also outnumbers the past tense
Dampak bauran penjual terhadap loyalitas konsumen dengan kepuasan konsumen sebagai variabel moderasi
This study aims to measure and analyze the effect of managerial ownership, institutional ownership, profitability, leverage and audit quality. This study uses a quantitative approach. In this study, sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling technique. The type of data used in this study is secondary data, namely data obtained indirectly through intermediary media. The secondary data used in this study is in the form of annual financial reports or annual reports of manufacturing companies listed on the IDX for the 2018-2020 period. The sample criteria set by the author are 223 companies with a number of years of observation for 3 years, then outliers are carried out so as to produce a research sample of 180 companies. The results of this study are managerial ownership and audit quality have no effect on earnings management, institutional ownership and profitability have a positive effect on earnings management, while leverage has a negative effect on earnings management.
PENCIPTAAN READY TO WEAR DELUXE APLIKASI BATIK TULIS MOTIF DIPHA KIRANA
This deluxe ready to wear is made to be a hope and prayer for the wearer, namely to be a light in the surrounding environment. Therefore, the author made the “Dipha Kirana” motif, which is a lamp motif inspired by the shape of a typical European chandelier as the main motif. The makrame technique is applied to this collection to enhance the appearance and create interesting accents that make this collection appear different and unique. The visual reference of this work is the fashion trend 2024/2025, namely Heritage sub-theme Reminiscence. The visuals represent traditional and modern forms constructed with traditional-modern techniques and materials, collaborating traditional icons, and designed for modern utility. To realize the work, the method of creation used is the method of exploration, design, and realization. The result of this work is 4 (four) ready to wear deluxe and 2 of them are displayed in the fashion show at Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week (JMFW) 202
BATIK MOTIF BABARAN AGUNG: Proses Penciptaan dan Aplikasinya pada Ready to Wear Deluxe
This article is based on the empirical experience of the author in creating the Babaran Agung batik pattern at the Sekar Ayu Batik Studio in Tuban, East Java, in 2023. The process of creating this batik pattern involved an academic approach supported by a studio approach. The academic approach refers to a systematic process that must involve scientific principles in the creation of the batik pattern, while the studio approach emphasizes practicality, though not entirely. The combination of these two approaches has not been found by the creator in various references regarding the process of creating batik pattern. Therefore, the purpose of this writing is to enrich the concept of batik motif creation by combining academic elements supported by a studio approach. Methodologically, the creation of this batik motif was carried out through three stages: exploration, design, and realization, each of which involved the studio approach. The result of the creation is a hand-drawn batik fabric with the Babaran Agung motif, applied to ready-to-wear deluxe items and presented at the Jakarta Muslim Fashion Week (JMFW) 2023
