Cannabis abuse and vulnerability to psychosis: Targeting preventive services
Cannabis is the most widely used illicit substance in the world and due to the high levels of use observed among young people with psychosis, most research has focused on the causal relationship between cannabis use and mental health problems. Despite a large interest in developing intervention models to target this group, there are as yet no established and effective methods of prevention and intervention focusing on cannabis use. In this paper we present the available evidence for the effectiveness of substance use treatments in patients with co-morbid severe mental illness, as well as exploring the prevention and early intervention initiatives for substance use in the general population. © 2012 Bentham Science Publishers

It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.
The Yeni Türkü group, which today consists of Derya Köroğlu, Erkin Hadimoğlu, Furkan
Bilgi and Serdar Barçın, was founded in the summer of 1978 by Derya Köroğlu, Selim
Atakan and Zerrin Atakan. This group performed its art in the social and political
environment caused by the September 12 Coup, which deeply affected Turkey, and was
exposed to reaction and self-censorship due to the conditions of this period. These effects
required them to undergo changes in their artistic identities and adopt more closed
expressions, but they did not stop producing despite the effects and consequences of the coup.
Yeni Türkü, which includes a lot of meaning-laden similes and references in its pieces,
continued to gain popularity after the coup. In this research, in the light of the information
received from the group member Erkin Hadimoğlu, the findings about the difficulties
experienced by the group, the efforts they made and the art they produced were included.by İbrahim Mert Öztürk
The Analysis and Forecasting of Stock Price with Deep Learning
Stock forecasting is one of the most popular topics nowadays. The dynamic, noisy and long-term dependence of stock market data makes its future prediction more difficult. This requires the use of additional data for successful prediction. In this study, the closing values of the stock data are predicted on a weekly basis by using the extended data set using various technical indicators and different independent variables. AAPL, NVDA, and GOOG stocks in the NASDAQ index were studied for the experiments. 20 different technical indicators obtained from daily stocks; different feature selection techniques were applied and then used as a feature vector for each day of the data. With the calculated technical indicators, a high dimensional feature space was created for data points that normally cover noise. We compare a multi layered Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model, which we believe has achieved consistent results for prediction stock closing values, as well as a Long Short-Term Memory with Peephole (LST MP) approach, which can cope well with long-term dependencies such as stock market data
Is cannabis neurotoxic for the healthy brain? A meta-analytical review of structural brain alterations in non-psychotic users
Despite growing research in the field of cannabis imaging, mostly in those with a psychotic illness, the possible neurotoxic effects of smoked cannabis on the healthy brain have yet to be fully understood. There appears to be a need to evaluate the existing imaging data on the neuroanatomical effects of cannabis use on non-psychotic population

An Evaluation of the Second Survey on Electronic Databases Usage at Ankara University Digital Library
Purpose
The study encompasses the assessment of the effectiveness of the digital library and the value of multidisciplinary databases in terms of user preferences and use frequency by academic ranking.
Methodology
This paper compares the results of two survey questionnaires carried out in 2002 and 2005. To examine the level of awareness by academic staff of digital library resources along with their use rate and to evaluate the preferences of faculty for specific electronic databases case studies were undertaken by means of separate questionnaires in both years.
Findings
Findings were consistent that positive results have been observed in two studies conducted in two years, 2002 and 2005. According to the results of current survey, the increase numbers of the faculty members of Ankara University know about the existence of the digital library after the informative activities on databases from. Another result of the survey is that many of the faculty members, although not all of them use electronic databases. The most preferred databases have been Web of Science, Science Direct and Ebsco. When use of the electronic databases is analyzed, in respect of faculty rank and level of awareness, associate and assistant professors, assistants place at first ranges.

The study presents the first case study in the field in Turkey that compares the current situation of the digital library usage with the initial survey data
Staggered Decision Analysis Depend On Emission Dates In Automotive Sector
For automotive sector the term of regulation is used for a structure that is a technical term to explain the parts of the automobile and condition of the production environment. The most important regulation term is the gas emission to control the environmental effect of the automobile in the air pollution because human beings are affected directly from the air pollution by breathing. In Turkey the Ministry of Industry check the emission level and present the acceptable level of gas emission from each automobile. To improve the gas emission level firms need high technological systems and it costs very high. Because of the high costs the automobile manufacturers want to delay the date of new level regulations from the Ministry of Industry by the help of media and non-governmental organizations. To get the help of media and non-governmental organizations the automobile sectors firms need extra budgets. In this study the decisions analysis with additional information of one of the leader automobile firm in Turkey, to choose how to use budget for getting help of the non-governmental organizations and media.İstanbul Ticaret Üniversites
