Differential Association of Vitronectin and Fibronectin with Glass and Electrospun Fibers of a Poly (D-Lysine) /Poly (Acrylic Acid)
Proteins represent major constituent of the extracellular matrix which plays an important role in the formation, maintenance and remodeling of tissues, this project focuses on adsorption of two specific serum proteins fibronectin (FN) and vitronectin (VTN) responsible for mediating cell matrix interaction through integrin binding, tripeptide Arg-Gly-Asp (RGD) sequence found in these protein features are recognized by αβV3 integrin which ultimately helps in clot formation
In defense of the codification of the Islamic Law of Hudud into the law of Pakistan
Islamic Law has three types of punishments for criminal offences: fixed punishment, which is called Hudud; retaliation, which is called Qisas; and discretionary punishment, which is called Tazir. Hudud, fixed, punishments, are predetermined by Al-Mighty Allah and his last Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم in the Holy Quran and in the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم . Hudud punishments are used mainly for five crimes: adultery, false accusation of adultery, theft, drinking liquor, and apostasy. The fifth President of Pakistan, General Muhammad Zia-ul-haq, introduced Hudud codified laws in Pakistan in 1979 for four of the criminal offences: adultery, false accusation of adultery, drinking Khamr, and theft. No law was promulgated for the offence of apostasy; rather, one ordinance was introduced on the regulation of whipping, which was later repealed by the Pakistani parliament in 1996.
Secular groups advocate for the complete abrogation of Hudud law from the judicial system of Pakistan in the name of the protection of women, but the basic purpose of these groups is to spread licentious behavior in a Muslim society. Hudud law actually protects men and women from false accusations of adultery; it also protects them from unlawful fornication and from drinking Khamr, which leads to adultery and other harmful offences. During the rule of the tenth President Pervez Musharaf, in 2006, the Pakistani government repealed many provisions of the Zina and Qazf ordinances through the Protection of Women Act. But the Government of Pakistan did not change anything in the theft and drinking Khamr Ordinances, which is a clearcut indication that the amendments to the Zina and Qazf Ordinances were made to portray a liberal image of Pakistan while making the Zina and correlated acts easier in Pakistan.
It is true that the Law of Hudud needs procedural changes. But that does not mean that we should abrogate the whole Law of Hudud and its punishments, fixed by Al-Mighty Allah and his last Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم, from the judicial system of Pakistan. The author recommends that rather than making different ordinances of Hudud, a Hudud chapter should be added to the existing Pakistan Penal Code of 1860 to get rid of the procedural difficulties. If a survey were to be conducted today in Pakistan, the majority would vote in favor of implementing Hudud Law in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Law is made to control the behavior of a society. If the majority of the population is happy with a law, one group of people cannot be given the right to snatch the voice of the general public and impose their verdict on the majority of the people
Evaluating Hyperbolic Dispersion Materials for Cancer Detection
Current biosensors have limited application in clinical diagnostics as they lack the high order of specificity needed to detect low molecular analytes, especially in complex fluids (such as blood, urine, and saliva). In contrast, they are resistant to the suppression of non-specific binding. Hyperbolic metamaterials (HMMs) offer highly sought- after label-free detection and quantification techniques to circumvent sensitivity issues as low as 105 M concentration in angular sensitivity. This review discusses design strategies in detail and compares nuances in conventional plasmonic techniques to create susceptible miniaturized point-of-care devices. A substantial portion of the review is devoted to developing low optical loss reconfigurable HMM devices for active cancer bioassay platforms. A future perspective of HMM-based biosensors for cancer biomarker detection is provided
Impact of Green Entrepreneurial Orientation and Green Human Resource Management Practices on the Sustainable Performance: Mediating Role of Green Supply Chain Management in Manufacturing Pakistan
Purpose: This study examines how green human resource management and entrepreneurial orientation affect Pakistani manufacturing firms sustainability performance. The study also examines how green supply chain management mediates sustainable company performance and green entrepreneurship
Design/Methodology/Approach: This study analyzed employees data from 340 registered manufacturing using random sampling. Exploratory and quantitative research uses structural equation modelling and partial least square methods to examine data.
Findings: Our key findings are following, Green HR management at first performance. secondly, green entrepreneurial mentality boosts sustainability performance of the manufacturing sector. The third green supply chain management pillar promotes green entrepreneurship and sustainable business performance. The research takes a fresh approach to sustainable performance theory, green human resource management, and green entrepreneurial strategy.
Implications/Originality/Value: The study shows that green supply chain management may improve sustainability by promoting green entrepreneurial attitude and green human resource management. Management implications and future suggestions are found in the research.  
Determining Behavioural Intention to Use Artificial Intelligence in the Hospitality Sector of Pakistan: An application of UTAUT Model
The main objective of this study is to create and evaluate an empirical model that can forecast the elements that impact users' behavioral intentions when using artificial intelligence. The researchers used the expanded Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) to investigate the probability of consumers adopting artificial intelligence (AI). The study focused on four key aspects: the impact on society, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions. The research was extended to include three further variables: perceived privacy risk, behavior intentions, and the adoption of artificial intelligence, to augment the precision of client behavior forecasts. The researchers conducted an on-line poll and obtained 310 answers from the hotel business in Pakistan. The cumulative sample was evaluated using structural equation modelling (SEM) inside the IBM SPSS Statistics V. 29.0 and SMART PLS 4.0.6 framework. The fundamental findings of the study suggest that the main factors driving the acceptance of artificial intelligence are the perceived privacy risk, facilitating conditions, and the behavioral intention to use AI. However, the customers' expectations about performance expectancy and effort expectancy, as well as their assessments on social influence, did not substantially impact their choice to utilize this program. Although it is a recent technology, it helps to eliminate gaps in knowledge in the area and promotes a more comprehensive understanding of the complex relationships between these devices. Moreover, this study offers essential knowledge on the most effective techniques for employing these technologies

This review article delves into the latest advancements in graphene-based polymer composites, primarily focusing on their role in energy-related applications.The article explores the extensive potential of graphene-based polymer nanocomposites and covers their fabrication using diverse techniques. These techniques include solution mixing, in-situ polymerization, electrospinning, and layer-by-layer assembly, each tailored to meet specific composite requirements. These versatile methods enable researchers to design and engineer graphene-polymer composites with tailored properties.The practical applications of these composites span various fields, with a significant emphasis on energy-related applications.
