Studi Eksperimental Gasifikasi Briket Municipal Solid Waste Dengan Reaktor Gasifikasi Tipe Downdraft Berpengendali Suhu Otomatis Pada Zona Partial Combustion
No full textPeningkatan jumlah penduduk menyebabkan peningkatan kebutuhan
energi dan juga timbulan sampah. Gasifikasi adalah proses termokimia yang
digunakan dalam proses konversi sampah (MSW) menjadi energi berupa gas yang
disebut producer gas atau syngas (synthetic gas). Penelitian dengan metode
eksperimental menggunakan briket MSW ini bertujuan untuk meneliti proses
gasifikasi briket MSW berpengendali suhu otomatis pada zona partial
combustion, serta untuk menemukan pengaruh penggunaan pengendalian suhu
zona partial combustion suhu secara otomatis pada proses gasifikasi briket MSW
terhadap produktifitas dan kualitas syngas dan korelasinya terhadap kapasitas
gasifikasi.
Eksperimen dilakukan dengan menggunakan gasifier tipe downdraft,
dengan melakukan proses gasifikasi briket MSW tanpa sistem pengendalian suhu
otomatis dengan laju alir massa udara yang bervariasi dengan tujuan untuk
mengumpulkan data distribusi suhu, AFR, LHV syngas, dan efisiensi energi
gasifikasi yang akan digunakan sebagai acuan pemrograman sistem pengendali
suhu otomatis yang akan digunakan pada eksperimen proses gasifikasi berikutnya.
Eksperimen berikutnya yaitu proses gasifikasi briket MSW dengan menggunakan
sistem pengendalian suhu yang telah diprogram berdasar eksperimen sebelumnya,
dan menghasilkan data yang dibandingkan dengan eksperimen gasifikasi briket
MSW tanpa sistem pengendali suhu otomatis.
Pada proses gasifikasi dengan GCU dengan perubahan setpoint value
(SV) dari 5000
C menjadi 7500
C maka terjadi peningkatan laju alir syngas sebesar
15,8% , peningkatan nilai LHV sebesar 7% , dan efisiensi gasifikasi yang
mengalami peningkatan sebesar 16%. Bila dibandingkan dengan proses gasifikasi
tanpa GCU maka nilai tertinggi efisiensi energi gasifikasi pada proses gasifikasi
dengan GCU mengalami peningkatan sebesar 2%. Dari hasil yang telah
disebutkan dapat disimpulkan adanya pengaruh pemakaian sistem pengendali
suhu otomatis terhadap produktifitas dan kualitas syngas dan juga terkorelasi
terhadap kapasitas gasifikasi.

The increase in population led to an increase in energy demand and
waste generated. Gasification is a thermochemical process that is used to convert
the municipal solid waste into energy. This study aims to examine the process of
gasification of MSW briquettes on a downdraft gasifier that uses an automatic
temperature control in partial combustion zone and also to discover the effect of
the automatic partial combustion zone temperature control in the process of
gasification of MSW briquettes on productivity and quality of the syngas and its
correlation to the gasification capacity.
Experiments conducted using downdraft gasifier, by doing MSW
briquettes gasification process experiments without temperature control system
with the mass flow rate of air is varied in order to gather data on the distribution
of temperature, AFR, LHV syngas, gasification and energy efficiency that will be
used as a reference for programming the automatic temperature control system
that will be used in subsequent experiments. The next experiments are briquettes
MSW gasification process using the temperature control system has been
programmed based on data from previous experiments, and generate data that
compared with the experimental gasification of MSW briquettes without an
automatic temperature control system.
In the gasification process with a temperature control system using a
setpoint value of 5000
C there is an increse of LHV value by 7%, an increase in
syngas mass flow rate of 15,8%, an increase of gasification energy efficiency by
16%. When compared to gasification without GCU there is an increase at highest
energy gasification eficiency by 2%. From the results mentioned it can be
concluded the use of automatic temperature control system affect the productivity
and quality of the syngas and also correlated to the gasification capacit
Peningkatan produktifitas tenaga kerja di PT. Asian Profile Indosteel
No full textPenelitian tugas akhir ini dilakukan di P.T ASIAN PROFILE INDOSTEEL yang bergerak dalam bidang industri baja. Pembahasan yang dilakukan hanya pada tenaga kerja di lantai produksi saja yang berhubungan langsung dengan proses produksi. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh perusahaan adalah bagaimana menentukan pengalokasian jumlah tenaga kerja yang lebih baik agar dapat meningkatkan produktifitas tenaga kerja. Metode yang digunakan dalam tugas akhir ini adalah pendekatan model simulasi dan perhitungan produktifitas parsial tenaga kerja. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan bahwa terjadi pengoptimalan jumlah tenaga kerja di lantai produksi dari semula sebanyak 25 orang menjadi 15 orang. Dengan adanya pengoptimalan tersebut, maka utilitas tenaga kerjapun mengalami peningkatan dan produktifitas tenaga kerja meningkat sebesar 66.75%

No full textBrem merupakan makanan khas dari Kabupaten Madiun. Bahan baku untuk membuatnya adalah beras ketan. Proses pembuatannya meliputi fermentasi, pengepresan, perekatan, dan pengeringan. Dengan adanya brem sebagai makanan khas mampu meingkatkan perekonomian dari masyarakat Kabupaten Madiun. Suling Mandiri dan Berkah merupakan salah satu kelompok usaha produsen brem. Dari analisis proses produksi menunjukkan bahwa proses perekatan membutuhkan kayu bakar relatif banyak. Ini dikarenakan tungku yang digunakan adalah tungku konvensional dari batu bata. Sedangkan pada proses pengepresan belum efektif dan efisien dikarenakan alat press adalah kayu. Oleh karena itu, perlu upgrade technology pada proses perekatan dan pengepresan untuk efektifitas dan efisiensi proses produksi. Tujuan dari diseminasi teknologi pada masyarakat adalah untuk upgrade technology tungku konvensional menjadi rocket stoove dan alat press kayu menjadi hydraulic press. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan rocket stoove mampu menghemat penggunaan kayu bakar dibandingkan dengan tungku konvensional. Sedangkan pada proses pengepresan, penggunaan hydraulic press mampu meningkatkan efektifitas dan efisiensi pekerja dalam proses pengepresan ampas ketan hasil fermentasi. Selain itu, sari pati ampas ketan hasil pengepresan hydraulic press lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan alat press kayu. From the Church, With the Church, and For the Church: Another Look at the Significance of Parachurch for Church Growth
No full textThis article discusses parachurch (hereinafter referred to as the Organisasi Pendamping Gereja / OPG). According to Jerry White, a parachurch is all forms of spiritual ministry whose organizational structure is not under the control of the church. Reflecting on this definition, in reality, the relationship between the church and the OPG is not always harmonious, and there is often tension between the two. One of the negative issues that arise is regarding the existence of OPG. There are some churches who question the existence of the OPG and see the OPG as their rival. This article provides a perspective on the existence and important role of OPG for church growth. For this reason, this article uses a qualitative method through a literature review and is supported by the results of interviews that the author conducted. The contribution of this research is to erode the negative views held by the church regarding OPG and to encourage the church to collaborate with OPG in carrying out God's mission. From the OPG side, this article can show that the OPG should not and cannot be separated from the church
Influence of location and promotion on consumer purchase decisions of Geprek Express Samarinda city

To get the data in this study, the author uses a questionnaire or a questionnaire, with a simple linear regression data analysis method and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the partial calculation show that the T-count number has a lower number than the Ttable can be said that there is a joint influence of location and promotion on purchasing decisions at Geprek Express Gerai Bumi Sempaja outlets, Samarinda city. The magnitude of waterhammer pressure rise effect motivates the author to study effect of void fraction on the Waterhammer pressure rise.
The materials used in the research are liquids whose kinematic viscosities are 1) = 0,8342 cSt, U = 2,2522 cSt, U = 2,6346 cSt, U = 2,9027 cSt, U = 3,2802 cSt and air from a compressor. The instruments used in the research are a PVC pipe of 19 mm (3/4 inch) diameter, flexiglass of 19 mm (3/4 inch) diameter, a membrane, strain gage, strain amplifier, analog to digital converter, solenoid valve, which are assembled to waterhammer apparatus.
The result of the research is that void fraction can effect waterhammer pressure rise.

Social Differences, Alienation, Hegemony Depicted in Suzanne Collins’s the Hunger Games
No full textThis study is a literature study which uses the Carl Marx theory as the theory to find the social difference, alienation, and hegemony in the novel The Hunger Games. This issue is very interesting to be dug in order to know how the social difference, alienation, and hegemony depicted in a novel. This research applies library research in which the data are about the journals, other opinions, and books. This study also applies descriptive qualitative method as the research method and concerns to the novel as the primary data. This research purposes to find out how social difference is depicted in The Hunger Games novel and how alienation and hegemony are depicted in The Hunger Games novel. The result of this study showed that the novel delivered the theory of the social difference, alienation, and hegemony well. Based on the scenes in the novel, the stories contained the issues and it could be found by using codes of the words used by the authors. In the novel, the author described the huge difference of life of the Capitol as the bourgeois and the District 12 as the proletarian. The difference could be seen from the way of their economic conditions, appearances, the foods, the environments, and the knowledge of the characters while the alienation could be seen from the nature and the activities of the main character, Katniss. The alienation happened to the main character supported by the act of the hegemony done by the Capitol since the stricted rules were applied in the districts.
Projectile velocity control on coilgun using genetic algorithms
No full textMultistage Coilgun is an electromagnetic coil composed of more than one coil so that can throw a projectile. The velocity of the projectile coming out of the tube must be controlled. The mechanism can be done by a multistage coilgun design that has a varying number of turns. Each coil that coincides with one another is wrapped separately. The motion of projectile following the velocity profile is perfomed by designing a multistage coil in different layer number based on the energy needed, and therefore the coil is more efficient. Furthermore, the velocity of the projectile is controlled by controlling the current injected to the coil using the Genetic Algorithm method. A prototype of a multistage coilgun system with the proposed coil variation is built in this work. The test is carried out 7 times with an average final velocity of the projectile of 29,89 m/s. While the results of the numerical simulation are 32,63 m/s. Testing error compared to simulation is 9,15%
Pembuatan Website TPKK ITS
No full textUntuk mengenal lebih dalam tentang visi mula – mula yang ada pada mereka yang memperjuangkan berdirinya persekutuan TPKK ITS, maka kita tidak dapat terlepas dari persekutuan YPPA Lahai Roi.
YPPA Lahai Roi dimulai tahun 1974 oleh Ibu Dian Anggraini dengan mengajak beberapa mahasiswa Universitas Airlangga untuk mengikuti Pemahaman Alkitab (PA) di rumahnya. Pada perkembangan selanjutnya seorang mahasiswa ITS, Mas Indarto (sekarang staf dosen FTSP ITS) ikut juga dalam kelompok tersebut. Mas Indarto pun mengajak beberapa mahasiswa Kristen ITS diajak juga dalam persekutuan yang diadakan tiap hari Rabu.
Mengingat persekutuan tersebut belum dapat menjangkau mahasiswa ITS, maka mereka memperjuangkan ijin untuk diadakannya persekutuan mahasiswa di dalam kampus ITS, pada saat itu di ITS hanya ada PPHB (Panitia Peringatan Hari Besar) yang hanya dapat mengadakan pembinaan dengan penyelenggaraan peringatan hari besar.
Akhirnya kegiatan persekutuan dimulai di ITS pada tahun 1986 oleh Nur Husodo, dkk dan kemudian resmi diakui dengan nama TEAM PEMBINA KEROHANIAN KRISTEN (TPKK) pada tahun 1987. Semenjak itulah Persekutuan Mahasiswa Kristen (PMK) mengadakan kebaktian Jumat sampai hari ini.
Pada saat ini TPKK ITS ingin membuat sebuah website yang dapat memudahkan dalam mengelola data, baik mahasiswa, dosen, maupun alumni. Website ini menggunakan framework Laravel, Javascript, dan MYSQL untuk basis data.
Maka dari itu pada kesempatan kerja praktik ini, penulis melakukan pembuatan website untuk TPKK ITS. Pembuatan website dimulai dari awal. Fitur-fitur yang sudah dibuat dan berjalan antara lain: manajemen user, management landing page, dan manajemen data.

To get to know more about the original vision that existed for those who fought for the establishment of the ITS TPKK alliance, then we cannot be separated from the YPPA Lahai Roi alliance.
YPPA Lahai Roi was started in 1974 by Mrs. Dian Anggraini by inviting several Airlangga University students to take "Pemahaman Alkitab" (PA) at her home. In the next development, an ITS student, Mas Indarto (now an ITS FTSP lecturer) also joined the group. Mas Indarto also invited several ITS Christian students to be invited to join the fellowship which is held every Wednesday.
Considering that the fellowship has not been able to reach ITS students, they are fighting for permission to hold a student fellowship on the ITS campus, at that time at ITS there was only PPHB (Panitia Peringatan Hari Besar) which could only conduct coaching by organizing holiday celebrations.
Finally, fellowship activities were started at ITS in 1986 by Nur Husodo, et al and were later officially recognized as TEAM PEMBINA KEROHANIAN KRISTEN (TPKK) in 1987. Since then Persekutuan Mahasiswa Kristen (PMK) held Friday services until today.
At this time the TPKK ITS wants to create a website that can make it easier to manage data, both students, lecturers, and alumni. This website uses Laravel framework, Javascript, and MYSQL for database.
Therefore, on this practical work opportunity, the author made a website for TPKK ITS. Website creation starts from scratch. The features that have been made and running include: user management, landing page management, and data management
