In any design project, the technology must be correct and in any art project, the work must be captivating. While this is essential for a successful outcome, the author believes that it should be simply considered as the result, which it is assumed will be delivered. This project is the path to this outcome and presents a myriad of other challenges. In this paper, the author looks at two projects, First, the £18 million project to design significant improvements to Belfast’s digital infrastructure; and second, the preparation of a 12-venue series of exhibitions featuring paintings drawn from the heritage of the Huguenots in Ireland. This paper aims to chart the way through the delivery of these two projects, with an approach that focuses on highlighting the core challenges of understanding vision, environment, and culture, describing how these were handled. The unavoidable conclusion is that the activities and skills applied in the two sectors reveal more similarities than differences. In pulling back the curtain, he contradicts the romantic myths of designer geeks and freewheeling artists. This paper will contribute to the world of art and design practically by filling in the existing gaps regarding how to handle large projects. Keywords: technology, art, design, project

As the culture of drinking coffee strengthens in various circles of Indonesian society, the amount of residual dregs produced from brewing coffee drinks is also increasing. The main objective of this design process is to find the right mixture composition to reprocess coffee grounds so that they can be used as a basic material for making ornamental plant pots. In finding the right dough composition, this design was carried out through a material exploration approach by mixing several other binders with coffee grounds. After going through 30 trials involving several ingredients such as coffee grounds, starch, vinegar, glycerol, water, jelly, and PVA (Polyvinyl Alcohol), this experiment succeeded in getting the right and ideal composition with characteristics resembling clay and easy to use. molded and does not crack easily when dry. As a result, this design process succeeded in producing an initial product in the form of a small plant pot for ornamental plants made from the dregs left over from brewing coffee drinks. This ornamental plant pot product is an initial stage product which at the next design stage can be developed into a more complex and attractive product

This study discusses how brand collaborations can enhance personal relationship with customers through interactive custom product offerings. The focus of this analysis is the collaboration between Uniqlo, a Japanese retail clothing company, and three local Indonesian brands - Indomie, Tolak Angin, and Gojek. The findings of this research reveal that these collaborations not only produce unique custom products but also strengthen the relationship between brands and customers with interactive products, creating a more intimate and personal shopping experience. This study highlights the importance of the right partner selection for maximum results in collaborations, considering the relevance and value that each brand can offer. Therefore, this study examines what factors support the success of this collaboration from the perspective of the strength of the brands chosen by Uniqlo in this collaboration. Applying a phenomenological study approach, the conclusion drawn from this study affirms that inter-brand collaboration plays a crucial role in creating the interactivity of the series of product experiences offered. The process of measuring the height and weight of toddlers regularly is very important to be carried out to prevent and handle stunting from an early age. These measurements are often carried out using separate height and weight measuring instruments, and there are still many Posyandu in Indonesia that use conventional instruments that are less safe, less accurate, and less comfortable, which results in discomfort and difficulties in the measurement process, both for Posyandu cadres, as well as the children themselves. In addition, there are still not many stunting detection tools made according to the characteristics of toddlers. Therefore, this study was conducted to find systems, types of height and weight measuring instruments that are practical and accurate, with visualization, product ergonomics, and features that are by the characteristics of toddlers, so that the measurement process can be more accurate, comfortable, safe, and pleasant with design thinking methods and ergonomic approaches. The result of this design is the design of an Arduino-based digital stunting detection tool in the form of a fox and equipped with a phone holder plus a plush-toys feature to attract children's attention which could be used to measure a child's weight and height simultaneously, as well as placing a devic

Understanding the user is an important point in successful product design, but often, the process is difficult and takes a lot of time. This article aims to offer a way to shorten the process of the first stage in design thinking, namely empathizing, which normally takes up much of the time spent on a project. The process combines systems thinking into the design thinking process and applies it in a simulated project. The results of the simulations show that systems thinking not only speeds up time at the empathize stage but also covers up to the define stage, which is the second stage in design thinking. This article will be useful to students working on a design project for their school assignment or even to an industry with a tight time developing a product. East Javanese cuisine is a type of traditional cuisine originating from East Java. East Java cuisine has a variety of flavors, from savory to sweet and spicy. Spice storage is needed for kitchen needs in cooking activities. This design aims to produce a prototype of the spice storage concept to facilitate cooking activities for East Javanese cuisine. The goal was found because the spice storage has no special product for storing spices in East Java cuisine and this problem occurs, so a spice storage is designed with a home kitchen. The design of spice storage is designed with additional features as needed such as sachet holders and bottle holders. The design method is made with the UCD (User Centered Design) method with this method carried out thoroughly starting from the target audience to the product test stage and solutions to users based on data that has been collected. Previous data was taken from interviews, observations, and found data from journals and books. Analyze the results of observations and interviews that have been conducted. In the design process from the ideation stage to the product finishing stage. The results and data analysis, obtained that the spice storage case study of East Java cuisine can support the needs of housewives
