SISTEM HUKUM WARIS ADAT MASYARAKAT DI DESA MARAWAN LAMA KECAMATAN DUSUN UTARA KABUPATEN BARITO SELATAN
No full textDalam kehidupan bernegara, tentunya dilengkapi dengan peraturan-peraturan yang mengikat bagi wargannya, salah satu diantaranya adalah hukum waris. Fenomena yang diangkat dalam karya ini adalah: apa yang menjadi dasar hukum berlakunya sistem hukum waris adat masyarakat di desa Marawan Lama? dan bagaimana sistem hukum waris adat di desa Marawan Lama, Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian hukum empiris (sosiologis) dengan pendekatan penelitian diskriptif kualitatif. Metode kualitatif adalah mengungkap fakta secara mendalam berdasarkan karakteristik ilmiah dari individu atau kelompok untuk memahami dan mengungkap sesuatu dibalik fenomena. Dasar berlakunya sistem hukum waris adat di Desa Marawan Lama adalah warga masih mempertahankan hukum adat sebagai aturan yang berlaku dalam pergaulan sosial masyarakat. Terbitnya Peraturan Daerah Kalimantan Tengah No. 16 Tahun 2008 berdampak terhadap legalitas keberadaan lembaga Adat Kedamangan. Sistem Hukum Waris Adat Di Desa Marawan Lama, adalah harta warisan dibagikan kepada ahli waris berdasarkan system kekeluargaan bilateral, secara adil dan setara, tanpa membedakan jenis kelamin, usia juga agama yang dianut oleh ahli waris. Adil yang dimaksudkan adalah penilaian subyektif dari sipewaris yang didasarkan pada pertimbangan psikologis dan karakter ahli waris oleh pewaris. No full text[ES] El presente trabajo de investigación indaga en la evolución estilística del escritor británico David Lodge, señalando que aquellas novelas publicadas por el autor durante la primera década del siglo XXI difieren en ciertos aspectos de su producción literaria correspondiente al siglo XX. Para ello, en la primera parte de la investigación se analiza los fundamentos teóricos subyacentes al estilo literario en Author y a Man of Parts. En la segunda parte, los aspectos formales y temáticos referentes al estilo literario en Author y a Man of Parts. Dichas novelas se conforman como un tipo de creación que persigue verdades que acotan hechos concretos y cabales, la denominada truth in facts, a la vez que expresan la narrativa de vivencias o life-writing, escritura que manifiesta experiencias personales en forma de confesión o diario. Consecuentemente, en dichas obras literarias, David Lodge opta por reflejar la llamada ʽnovela de autor,ʼ decantándose por delinear ficcionalmente las biografías de los escritores consagrados decimonónicos Henry James y H. G. Wells
On the size of multivariate polynomial lemniscates and the convergence of rational approximants
No full textAbstractIn a previous paper, the author introduced a class of multivariate rational interpolants, which are called optimal Padé-type approximants (OPTA). The main goal of this paper is to extend classical results on convergence both in measure and in capacity of sequences of Padé approximants to the multivariate case using OPTA. To this end, we obtain some estimations of the size of multivariate polynomial lemniscates in terms of the Hausdorff content, which we also think are of some interest

No full textAbstractIn a previous paper, the author introduced a new class of multivariate rational interpolants, which are called Optimal Padé-type Approximants (OPTA). There, for this class of rational interpolants, which extends classical univariate Padé Approximants, a direct extension of the “de Montessus de Ballore's Theorem” for meromorphic functions in several variables is established. In the univariate case, this theorem ensures uniform convergence of a row of Pade Approximants when the denominator degree equals the number of poles (counting multiplicities) in a certain disc. When one overshoots the number of poles when fixing the denominator degree, convergence in measure or capacity has been proved and, under certain additional restrictions, the uniform convergence of a subsequence of the row. The author tackles the latter case and studies its generalization to functions in several variables by using OPTA

BECLR: Batch Enhanced Contrastive Unsupervised Few-Shot Learning
No full textThere exists a fundamental gap between human and artificial intelligence. Deep learning models are exceedingly data hungry for learning even the simplest of tasks, whereas humans can easily adapt to new tasks with just a handful of samples. Unsupervised few-shot learning (U-FSL) aspires to bridge this gap, without relying on costly annotations. Inspired by the efficiency of contrastive representation learning, we propose a novel batch enhanced contrastive U-FSL pretraining methodology (coined as BECLR) to infuse instance- and class-level insightswithin a contrastive framework. To enable the sampling of meaningful positives, we introduce an innovative dynamic clustered memory module (DyCE), which maintains highly-separable latent space partitions, through iterative equipartitioned updates. We also propose an effective, optimal transport (OT)-based feature alignment strategy (OpTA), to address sample bias in the U-FSL inference stage and further boost the end-to-end performance of BECLR in low-shot settings. Our extensive experimental evaluation corroborates the efficacy of our design choicesin BECLR, which sets a new state-of-the-art on the most widely adopted U-FSL benchmarks miniImageNet and tieredImageNet (offering up to 14% and 12% improvements, respectively), as well as on challenging cross-domain scenarios.Computer Scienc
