Being a librarian is not an easy job. Especially in the information age like today. Various types of information manipulation are often carried out, even by academic people who uphold the value of honesty. This paper aims to provide information to the reader, that librarians have more role in the problem of information manipulation, especially regarding plagiarism that occurs in the academic environment (universities). The author uses the case study method that occurred at UPT. Muhammadiyah Ponorogo University Library. From this paper, it is known that the majority of students choose to consult with librarians to solve their plagiarism problems

Infografis Sebagai Media Promosi Perpustakaan
Perubahan sikap masyarakat dalam memahami dan mencerna pesan dari sebuah informasi telah jauh
berubah dengan adanya pekembangan teknologi informasi. Perpustakaan sebagai salah satu lembaga
pengelola informasi dituntut untuk selalu mampu menyebar dan menginformasikan kekayaan
intelektual kepada khalayak ramai. Melalui promosi, perpustakaan dapat menarik pengguna untuk
memanfaatkan kekayaan yang ada di perpustakaan. Penyusunan serta pemilihan media promosi
menjadi bagian vital dalam keberlangsungan hidup perpustakaan di masa yang akan datang. Tulisan
ini akan membahas mengenai infografis sebagai media promosi yang dapat digunakan perpustakaan
PERPUSTAKAAN SEBAGAI PARTNER INFORMASI GENERASI MILLENIAL LIBRARY AS INFORMATION PARTNER OF MILLENIALS GENERATION
Perpustakaan adalah salah satu lembaga pengelola ilmu pengetahuan. Sebagai
lembaga pengelola ilmu pengetahuan, perpustakaan hendaknya mampu menjangkau
dan dijangkau oleh siapa saja. Perilaku instant pada generasi millenial menjadi
tantangan bagi perpustakaan sebagai pengelola ilmu pengetahuan untuk mampu
menghadirkan produk instant (cepat saji) namun bernilai tinggi melalui berbagai
bentuk layanan dan terobosan agar kepercayaan generasi millenial kepada
perpustakaan sebagai partner mereka semakin tinggi. Pe rpustakaan saat ini tidak
hanya melakukan kegiatan pengolahan informasi saja, namun kegiatan penyebaran
informasi juga menjadi tugas dari perpustakaan melalui berbagai bentuk layanan
fisik maupun digital. Tulisan ini menggunakan metode studi literatur da lam
melakukan pembahasannya. Dengan tujuan agar peran perpustakaan sebagai
partner informasi generasi millenial dapat dijelaskan secara dalam dan
menyeluruh.

MELEK INFORMASI SEBAGAI KUNCI KEBERHASILAN PELESTARIAN BUDAYA LOKAL
Abstrak. Melestarikan warisan budaya telah menjadi tugas anak cucu yang diwarisinya. Banyak cara telah dilakukan untuk melestarikan warisan itu agar tidak hilang tergilas kemajuan jaman dan tergulung modernisasi. Pemahaman informasi (literasi informasi) akan warisan budaya pun juga harus dilakukan dan diperkuat agar upaya yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya berhasil dan menemui sasaran. Ponorogo yang dikenal sebagai kota reog tentu memiliki tugas besar dalam melestarikan warisan budaya tersebut agar terus eksis. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara apa saja yang telah dilakukan oleh masyarakat dan Pemerintah Ponorogo dalam pelestarian dan pendalaman informasi mengenai warisan budaya (reyog) tersebut serta memberikan gambaran kepada pelaku informasi termasuk pustakawan mengenai langkah yang dapat diambil guna terlibat aktif dalam upaya pelestarian budaya reyog. Adapun dalam kajian ini akan menggunakan metode kajian pustaka dan pendekatan kualitatif dalam pengumpulan hingga proses interpretasi data. Sehingga hasil yang diperoleh bisa menggambarkan dengan jelas dan mudah dipahami. Hasil dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa upaya pelestarian dan pendalaman informasi mengenai budaya lokal yang telah dilakukan masyarakat dan pemerintah di lingkungan Kabupaten Ponorogo lebih banyak menggunakan kegiatan yang mendatangkan massa dalam jumlah besar. Many ways have been done to preserve the inheritance so as not to be lost over the progress of time and rolled modernization. Understanding information (information literacy) of cultural heritage must also be done and reinforced in order to make efforts that have been done successfully and meet the target. Ponorogo is known as the city of reog certainly has a big task in preserving the cultural heritage to continue to exist.. This study aims to find out what way has been done by the community and the Government of Ponorogo in the preservation and deepening of information about the cultural heritage (reyog) as well as provide an illustration to information actors including librarians about the steps that can be taken to actively engage in efforts to preserve the culture of reyog. The study will use literature review method and qualitative approach in collecting until data interpretation process. So the results obtained can illustrate clearly and easily understood. The result of this research is known that the effort of preservation and deepening of information about local culture which have been done by society and government in Ponorogo Regency mostly use activities that bring mass in large amount. Hoax: An Information Society Challenge
Background of the study: Maturity, wisdom, and accuracy of the community in the use of information in an age like now is very important to do. Especially for a variety of information that has the potential to cause conflict in the community as well as information allegedly containing lies or better known as hoaxes. Purpose: This study aims to put forward conceptual ideas about how to deal with information problems that are now experienced by the community. Method: The method used in writing articles is literature study by conducting a review of relevant literature. Findings: Literature review results found that education by families, optimization of existing institutions in the community, and also the provision of information channels / media is a good and effective way to establish a culture of literacy that is good for the community. So that the hoax news chain / hoax becomes increasingly depressed and disconnected by itself because literacy culture has formed from the smallest layer of a society. The role of library leaders in maintaining service quality during the covid-19 pandemic A case study at the Ponorogo Muhammadiyah University Library
Background of the study: The emergence of covid-19 has a big impact on the joints of human life, as well as libraries. As one of the organizations engaged in library education service visits, they are forced to “change” themselves quickly.
Purpose: This change will be difficult if the library does not have a leader who is not competent in addressing this case. This study uses qualitative methods with descriptive approaches in explaining the role of the leadership in the Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo library during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Method: Data collection is obtained from literature studies that come from books, journals, or other relevant sources as well as interviews with parties deemed important.
Findings: The results of this discussion show that leadership is an important figure in the changes made by the Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo library during covid-19. This can be seen from the policies issued during the Covid-19 pandemic that protect members but do not reduce the quality (library rights) of the library.
Conclusion: Remembering to be the leader of an organization one must have several skills/abilities such as technical, conceptual, and human abilities
MAKNA PERPUSTAKAAN BAGI SANTRI MI PESANTREN ANAK SHOLEH BAITUL QUR’AN GONTOR
The title of this research is the meaning of the library for the Santri MI Pesantren Anak Sholeh Baitul Qur'an Gontor. This research departs from the shift in the meaning of the library that occurred from the 70s to the present. As well as incessant literacy and literacy campaigns in various sectors, especially the education sector. However, the condition of libraries in educational institutions, in particular, is not fully worthy of being called a library. The library of MI Pesantren Anak Sholeh Baitul Qur'an Gontor is an example of a library that is still empty of enthusiasts even though there is a literacy program in it. This study uses a qualitative method to reveal the meaning of the MI Pesantren Anak Sholeh Baitul Qur'an Gontor library for students involving their experience and knowledge. This study uses a social construction perspective based on the theoretical framework of Peter L. Berger and T. Luckman to reveal the process of constructing the meaning of the library that occurs at MI Pesantren Anak Sholeh Baitul Qur'an Gontor. This study shows that students at MI Pesantren Anak Sholeh Baitul Qur'an Gontor interpret the library without being constructed as a place to fill empty time and play to entertain themselves (refreshing). In addition, this study also shows the results of the students at MI Pesantren Anak Sholeh Baitul Qur'an Gontor are users in the Conditional User and Apathetic User categories
