PEMBERDAYAAN POLITIK PENDIDIKAN DAN PENGUATAN SOSIAL BUDAYA DALAM PEMBANGUNAN PENDIDIKAN NASIONAL
Upaya untuk menumbuhkembangkan kehidupan sosial budaya yang yang sehat sesuai dengan jati diri dan nilai-nilai budaya bangsa, ditengah masyarakat yang berhadapan dengan perubahan yang begitu cepat, maka lagi-lagi pelu dilakukan upaya penguatan sosial terutama melalui pendidikan masyarakat, sehingga diharapkan penguatan aspek sosial budaya tersebut diharapkan dapat dapat menopang pembangunan pendidikan nasional yang lebih bermartabat.
EVALUASI KINERJA KEPALA SEKOLAH MENENGAH KEJURUAN NEGERI DI KOTA BANDAR LAMPUNG
Abstract: The objective of this research was to determine the suitability of the principals’ performance in carrying out managerial tasks with the established standards, including performance in: (1) leading the school in the context of the utilization of school resources optimally, (2) managing changes and development of the school towards an effective learning organization, (3) creating a culture and school climate which are conducive and innovative, and (4) utilizing the advancement of ICT in learning and school management. The approach and evaluation model chosen in this study was a goal-based evaluation model which was combined with evaluation model that were generally developed in several government institutions. The research method was qualitative. The data were collected by using observation, interview, and documents. The results of the research showed that: (1) the performance of the principals in leading the school were in good category, (2) the performance of the principals in managing change and school development were in good category, (3) the performance of the principal in creating a culture and school climate were in good category, and (4) the performance of the principal in the use of ICT in teaching and school management were in enough category. The conclusion of the research was, of the four aspects of the performance of principals evaluated, three of them showed the achievement of performance was good category, and one aspect was in enough category. However, in each aspect in the evaluation there were still some performance criteria that have not been achieved well, or there were still in the enough category.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesesuaian antara prinsip-prinsip kinerja yang digunakan dalam menunaikan tugas managerial dengan standar kinerja yang telah ditetapkan, meliputi: (1) upaya memajukan sekolah dalam konteks pemanfaatan sumber-sumber sekolah secara optimal; (2) mengelola perubahan-perubahan dan pengembangan sekolah menuju organisasi belajar yang efektif; (3) menciptakan budaya dan suasana sekolah yang kondusif dan inovatif; (4) penggunaan ICT dalam pembelajaran dan manajemen sekolah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan evaluasi sebagai dengan model goal based yang secara umum dikembangkan sebagai model mengevaluasi lembaga-lembaga pemerintahan. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan: (1) kinerja kepemimpinan di sekolah sudah dalam kategori baik, (2) prinsip-prinsip kinerja dalam mengelola perubahan dan pengembangan sekolah dalam kategori baik, (3) prinsip-prinsip kinerja dalam menciptakan budaya dan suasana sekolah dalam kategori baik, (4) prinsip-prinsip kinerja dalam menggunakan ICT pembelajaran serta pengelolaan sekolah dalam kategori baik. Kesimpulannya adalah, dari empat aspek prinsip kinerja yang dievaluasi, tiga diantaranya dalam kategori baik dan satu diantaranya kategori cukup
Efektivitas Model NHT Berbantu Laboratorium Virtual Terhadap Hasil Belajar Ditinjau dari Keterampilan Proses Sains
Abstract:This study aims to determine the effectiveness of virtual laboratory-assisted Numbered Head Together (NHT) models in providing good learning outcomes to students who have science process skills. The study was conducted at Bandar Lampung High School 8 with the research method Quasi Experimental Design. Analysis of hypothesis testing data of this study uses two-way variance analysis. Then the effectiveness is known by using the effect size test that is getting the value d = 0.45, then this result is interpreted using the table of effect size obtained that the laboratory-assisted NHT model affects student learning outcomes by 66%. The conclusion is that virtual laboratory-assisted NHT models provide good learning outcomes, there are differences in physics learning outcomes between high, medium and low science process skills, there is no interaction between learning models with science process skills on learning outcomes and NHT models are effective in improving learning outcomes. Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model Numbered Head Together (NHT) berbantu laboratorium virtual dalam memberikan hasil belajar yang baik pada peserta didik yang memiliki keterampilan proses sains.Penelitian dilakukan di SMA N 8 Bandar Lampung dengan metode penelitian Quasi Eksperimen Design.Analisis data pengujian hipotesis penelitian ini menggunakan analisis variansi dua jalan. Kemudian keefektifan diketahui dengan menggunakan uji effect size yaitu memperoleh nilai d = 0,45, kemudian hasil ini diinterpretasikan dengan menggunakan tabel effect size diperoleh bahwa model NHT berbantu laboratorium ini mempengaruhi hasil belajar peserta didik sebanyak 66%. Memperoleh kesimpulan bahwa model NHT berbantu laboratorium virtual memberikan hasil belajar yang baik, terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar fisika antara keterampilan proses sains tinggi, sedang dan rendah, tidak ada interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan keterampilan proses sains terhadap hasil belajar dan model NHT efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Analysis of customer satisfaction using Total Quality Management (TQM) junior high school
To develop the potential of students must be supported by quality education. Total Quality Management becomes a management approach centered on quality for long-term success through customer satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to find out how customer satisfaction is assessed from aspects of tangibles (direct evidence), reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. This research uses mixed methods with the Embedded Concurrent model (unbalanced mixture), applied to students with a sample of 90 students as respondents chosen randomly with 25 items of questions, observations, interviews, documentation. The findings of these study address customers getting satisfaction with the services provided by schools. With responsiveness aspects that are more prominent than other elements
Teacher Performance Management in Madrasa
Teachers in madrasas have a central role in realizing educational goals. Teacher performance affects students' academic achievement and shapes their attitudes, values, and moral character. Managing teacher performance in madrasah has its challenges, including fulfilling training and professional development needs, objective performance appraisal, appropriate motivation and rewards, and efficient resource management. This study aims to analyze teacher performance management at MTs Negeri 1 Lampung Utara. The research method used is qualitative. Data collection techniques were interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects were the madrasah head and teachers. The results showed that teacher performance management is carried out in four aspects, namely planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. Based on the research data, it was found that planning and supervision were effective. However, in terms of implementation, several problems were found, namely external and internal problems. To overcome these problems, several things are applied, namely, developing several characteristics in planning, organizing personnel, implementing programs, providing intensive supervision, instilling Islamic values and brotherhood, and optimizing the functions and roles of teachers
Implementasi Pendidikan Holistik di Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Kampus 7 Kalianda
Istilah “Pendidikan umum” dan “Pendidikan agama” masih menjadi perbincangan di dunia pendidikan, sedangkan peran nilai-nilai pendidikan islam juga sangat penting dalam proses pengembangan seluruh potensi manusia dalam rangka menciptakan manusia holistik yang memiliki kecerdasan intelektual, kecerdasan spiritual, kecerdasan emosional dan kecerdasan kinestetik. Dan seluruh kecerdasan bisa terlaksana dengan pendidikan holistik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Apa pengertian dari pendidikan Holistik secara umum dan menurut para ahli. (2) Apakah Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Kampus 7 sudah menerapkan pendidikan holistik kepada para santri. Dalam pengumpulan data, metode yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penulis menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara, observasi dan melakukan pengumpulan data berupa jurnal, artikel, dokumen dan buku yang berkaitan dengan kepemimpinan Holistik di Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Kampus 7 lalu menganalisisnya sehingga mendapatkan hasil yang diinginkan. Dan dalam pemeriksaan keabsahan data penulis menggunakan triangulasi data. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Pendidikan holistik dapat di artikan sebagai pemikiran secara menyeluruh dan berusaha menyatukan beraneka lapisan kaidah serta pengalaman yang lebih dari sekedar mengartikan manusia secara sempit, pendidikan holistik juga suatu upaya menyeimbangkan secara utuh aspek pemelajaran kepada murid dalam seluruh aspek pembelajaran, yang mencakup kecerdasan intelektual, kecerdasan spiritual, kecerdasan emosional dan kecerdasan Kinestetik. (2) Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Kampus 7 melaksanakan pendidikan holistik berupa meningkatkan kecerdasan intelektual, kecerdasan spiritual, kecerdasan emosional dan kecerdasan Kinestetik dengan berbagai macan kegiatan dan tanggung jawab langsung kepada santri, sehingga membantu mereka untuk bisa mengembangkan diri dari berbagai sisi kecerdasan
PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS MACROMEDIA FLASH
This study aims to develop the learning media through Macromedia Flash program software on building materials to test the feasibility of media developed through media experts, material experts, language experts and the response of learners to the learning media. This research type is research and development by using the procedure from the ADDIE method which stands for Analysis, Design, Development or Production, Implementation or Delivery, and Evaluations. The results obtained are Macromedia Flash-based learning media, as well as the results of the assessment of the media of learning based on the questionnaire. Media experts, material experts, and language linguists developed with two validation stages. The final validation of the Expert material reached an average score of 3.5 Experts 3.3 media and the linguist reached an average score of 4 it can be concluded that developed media valid and fit for use as a medium of learning. After that field experiment, based on the results of the questionnaire responses of learners on a small scale test scored 3.68 and on field trials scored 3.51, it can be concluded that the interest level of the media is on the category of very interesting. Based on all this, it can be concluded that the media is feasible and can be used as a medium of learning
