Prof -Dr. Hakkı SAYAR Effects of amino acid mixture and glucose levels on survival and complete development of hymenopterous endoparasitoid Pimpla turionellae L. were investigated by rearing the newly-hatched larvae aseptically on chemically defined artificial synthetic diets. On a diet without glucose and with 1,5% amino acid mixture larvae were unable to survive and develop. On the diets without glucose and with 4.5% and 6.0% amino acid mixture larvae were able to reach to the pupal stage. Survival and the rate of development in general were increased by increasing levels of the amino acid mixture. Glucose showed its effects during adult emergence. Balance between the amino acid mixture and glucose levels played an important role during post-larval development and survival of the insect. Çalışmamızda Yazgan’ın hayatı, Türk Dünyası için verdiği mücadelesi, yaşadığı zorluklar, yazar ile olan arkadaşlığı sürecinde yazarda bıraktığı izlenim, metne dayalı inceleme yöntemiyle roman odaklı irdelenmiştir. Yazarın kendine özgü anlatımıyla okuyucusu ile buluşturduğu akademisyen ve teşkilatçı kimlikli Turan Yazgan, ömrünü Türk'e, Türk Dünyasına hizmet için adamış bir vatanseverdir. Türkiye Türkleri ile dış Türkler arasındaki kardeşlik bağı güçlendirmek için önemli çalışmalara imza atmıştır. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Bu nedenden ötürü sağlıklı nesillerin yetiştirilmesi (ancak) sağlıklıebeveyn tutumları ile mümkündür. Bu araştırmada ailenin çocuk yetiştirme tutumlarıvurgulanmıştır. Anne baba olarak ebeveynlerin sosyo-kültürel ve sosyo- demografikyapılarının öz yeterlilikleri bağlamında analiz edilmesine odaklanmıştır. Araştırmanınörneklemi 2018-2019 akademik yılları arasında İstanbul ilinde özel ve devlet okulu olmaküzere 92 okul öncesi öğrencinin ebeveynlerinden oluşmaktadır. Araştırma, İl Milli EğitimMüdürlüğünden izin ve okul Müdürlüklerinin onayı ile yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, araştırmacıtarafından hazırlanan kişisel bilgi formu, Aile Hayatı Çocuk Yetiştirme Tutum Ölçeği,Olgubilim Deseni kullanılmıştır. Bu bağlamda araştırmada betimsel bir çalışma ile taramamodeli kullanılmış, bulgular ve tartışma bölümü sahadan elde edilen veriler sonucunda anketformunda yer alan sorular yüzde ve frekansları hesaplanarak tablolar halinde özetlenmiştir.Verilerin analizi SPSS 23.0 paket programında yapılmıştır. Tüm elde edilen verilere ayna tutanolgu bilim deseni ile ilave pekiştirme sağlanmıştır. Sonuçta, aşırıcı koruyucu olan annelerin,çocuklar için alınan kararlarda babalardan daha çok etkili oldukları görülmektedir. Aile içiilişkilerde anneler, demokratik bir tutum içerisinde eşitlik açısından yüksek bir performansgösterseler dahi kendilerinin çocukları üzerinde sıkı disiplin uyguladığı gözlemlenmektedir.Kadın olarak aile içinde ev kadınlığı rolünü reddetme yaşadıkları da aşikardır. Aile bireyleriarasında iletişim sıkıntısı da olduğu anlaşılmaktadır.According to the perspective that takes into account family relations, the contributionof families in the upbringing of generations is undeniable. For this reason, raising healthygenerations is possible (only) with healthy parental attitudes. In this study, the family\"s childrearingattitudes were emphasized. It focuses on analyzing the socio-cultural and sociodemographicstructures of parents as parents in the context of their self-efficacy. The sampleof this research consists of the parents of 92 preschool students from private and publicschools in Istanbul between the 2018-2019 academic years. The research was carried out withthe permission of the Provincial Directorate of National Education and the approval of theschool directorates. Personal information form prepared by the researcher, Family Life ChildRaising Attitude Scale and Phenomenology Design were used in the research. In this context,a descriptive study and a scanning model were used in the research, and the findings anddiscussion section were summarized in tables by calculating the percentages and frequenciesof the questions in the questionnaire as a result of the data obtained from the field. Dataanalysis was done in SPSS 23.0 package program. Additional reinforcement was providedwith the phenomenology pattern that reflects all the obtained data. As a result, it is seen thatmothers who are overprotective are more effective than fathers in the decisions taken for theirchildren. Even though mothers show a high performance in terms of equality in a democraticattitude in family relations, it is observed that they impose strict discipline on their children. Itis also obvious that as women, they have been denied the role of housewife in the family. It isunderstood that there is a communication problem between family members

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
