Fil: Iida, Cecilia. Uranocircite from Ogitsubo, Iida City, Nagano Prefecture
Uranocircite, a hydrated phase of barium and hexavalent uranium, Ba(UO₂)₂・(PO⁴)₂・8H₂O, was identified in the oxidation zone of Ogitsubo in the "Iida radioactiveanomlous area" in 1968. This yellow green mineral occurred in fine arkosic silt and white fissure clay (montmorillonite) which were deposited in the basal part of Miocene sediments just above the unconformity. Uranocircite, a sort of uranium mica minerals, is rarely found in ordinary uranium deposits, because barium in the mineral is easily replaced by such an element as calcium. Basement granite of this area contains abnormally rich thorium, while a relatively large amount of monazite, (La, Ce, Th, Y)・PO₄, is found in several localities of this district. Around the crystals of monazite included in biotite intense pleochroic haloes are observed under the microscope. Perhaps these environmental conditions led the generation of the barium-bearing uranophosphate mineral as secondary ore

Towards Climate-Resilient Infrastructures through an Integrated Infrastructure Design Approach
In the last years, municipalities' role in protecting cities from climate change impacts has increasingly gained attention due to their proximity to the citizens. Although municipalities have the tools to implement mitigation and adaptation strategies, anchoring these strategies will demand multiple interventions in the urban sphere if municipalities execute all these projects through a siloed approach. Multi-interventions will increase energy consumption, generating more C02 emissions, as well as more mobility disruptions. Therefore, municipalities need to design and execute their projects integrally. Through a literature review and Rotterdam Municipality serving as a case study, this research explores both the theoretical and practicality of how municipalities can effectively apply an integrated infrastructure design approach (IIDA) to enhance climate-resilient infrastructures (CRI). The research found some of CRI's key characteristics and seven implementation lenses of IIDA at the municipal level: functional, transdisciplinary, synergistic, intervention scale, technological, time and finance.Furthermore, a thematic analysis of 22 interviews revealed 19 key factors that influence a municipality's effectiveness in using an integrated design approach. These factors were grouped into six dimensions: human capacity, organisational culture, governance, information and knowledge, project process development, and finance. These findings have been translated into a strategic roadmap, providing practical guidance for municipalities to effectively implement IIDA. The roadmap suggests municipalities need individuals with soft skills such as holistic vision, proactivity, and collaboration. Additionally, fostering an innovative and collaborative culture is essential to enable the development of pilot projects. From the knowledge generated from pilot projects, municipalities can update their standards process.Civil Engineering | Construction Management and Engineerin
Laulamattomat laulut – Raportti sävellysten matkasta pöytälaatikosta lavalle
Laulamattomat laulut –opinnäytetyö on raportti tekijän sävellysprojektista, jonka taiteelliseen osuuteen sisältyi seitsemän rock-kappaleen säveltäminen, yhtyeen muodostaminen, materiaalin harjoituttaminen yhtyeellä sekä konsertoiminen Kuopion Sotkulla 28.3.2019.

As a result, the author felt that the artistic identity of the musician had developed, in addition to which the thesis diversified the author's rhythmic music and composing skills. The thesis also increased the author 's courage in terms of musicianship, teaching and making music
Strongly coupled artificial bulk HTS grain boundaries with high critical current densities
A multi-seeding process has been developed to fabricate single Y-Ba-Cu-O (YBCO) grains containing strong artificial grain boundaries. Multi-seeding of heterogeneous YBCO grains with controlled orientation was achieved using large Sm-Ba-Cu-O (SmBCO) single crystal seeds of rod-like geometry with slots of various widths (up to 13 mm) cut into their bottom surface (i.e. parallel to the c-axis of the seed) to produce a bridge-like structure. Several YBCO grains with artificial grain boundaries were fabricated from these seed crystals and used to investigate the effect of varying the distance between the individual grain nucleation sites and the grain orientation (in-plane and out of plane) on the nature of grain boundaries. The measured local magnetic critical current density (Jc) and the magnitude of the trapped field across these artificial grain boundaries indicate that seed alignment is a key parameter in achieving strongly-coupled grain boundaries in multi-seeded grains
Sparse non-smooth atomic decomposition of Morrey spaces
Recently, a non-smooth atomic decomposition in Morrey spaces was obtained by the author, Iida and Tanaka. This note refines the above existing result using the notion of sparse families. As an application, we prove the equivalence between fractional integral operators and fractional maximal operators under the Morrey norm. © 2019 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd
