Sentilan Unsur Budaya dalam Novel Tanah Surga Merah Karya Arafat Nur
Full text linkPenelitian ini berfokus pada unsur budaya yang terdapat dalam novel Tanah Surga Merah karya Arafat Nur. Lebih lanjut, penelitian ini memperlihatkan lokalitas unsur budaya yang masih sangat kental dan bentuk-bentuk budaya yang bervariasi seperti yang terdeskripsi dalam novel. Novel ini mengisahkan tentang seorang tokoh bernama Murad yang menjadi buronan partai merah tampil sebagai sosok pahlawan untuk melawan ketidakadilan yang disebabkan oleh partai merah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, yaitu dengan menganalisis kata yang mengandung unsur budaya dari penggalan novel tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan unsur-unsur budaya khas Aceh yang terdapat dalam novel. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan membaca keseluruhan isi teks dari novel Tanah Surga Merah dan mencatat bagian data. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis naratif, sehingga bahasa analisis menjadi lebih menarik dan mudah dipahami. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat beberapa kata yang identik atau menyentil budaya yang biasa melekat pada masyarakat Aceh seperti meunasah, minyak amla, leklap, orang Aceh yang tidak suka baca buku, guna-guna, dan mayam
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. REPRESENTASI SUREALISME DALAM DRAMA KOREA WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING (2017)
Full text linkABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dari representasi surealisme dalam dalam drama Korea While You Were Sleeping yang tayang pada tahun 2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kepustakaan yang berpusat pada analisis drama tanpa ada pembanding dengan karya sastra lainnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan menganalisa scene drama Korea While You Were Sleeping. Data dari penelitian ini adalah scene serta dialog dari drama Korea While You Were Sleeping. Sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah drama Korea While You Were Sleeping. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik catat dan Simak Bebas Libat Cakap (SBLC). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dari drama Korea While You Were Sleeping, ditemukan 75 data yang merepresentasikan surealisme. Terdapat dua jenis surealisme yaitu murni dan ekspresif, dimana 40 di antaranya merupakan data surealisme murni, dan 35 lainnya merupakan data dari surealisme ekspresif. Kedua jenis tersebut direpresentasi dalam bentuk scene serta dialog yang berbentuk mimpi, pembicaraan mengenai mimpi, usaha mengubah masa depan, realita yang sejalan dengan mimpi, mimpi dan masa depan yang berhasil diubah, dan flashback (kilas balik).Kata kunci: Surealisme, Drama Korea, While You Were SleepingABSTRACTThis study aims to describe the forms of surrealism representation in the Korean drama \u27While You Were Sleeping\u27 which aired in 2017. It is a literature review that focuses on the analysis of the drama without any comparison to other literary works. The research method used was qualitative research, which allowed the researcher to examine the entire content of the Korean drama \u27While You Were Sleeping\u27 and represent its surrealistic form. The data for this study consisted of scenes and dialogues from the drama. The data source was the drama itself. The data collection technique used was note-taking and non-participant observation. Based on the research conducted on the Korean drama \u27While You Were Sleeping,\u27 75 instances of surrealism were identified. Among them, 40 were pure surrealism, while the remaining 35 were expressive surrealism. Both types are represented through scenes and dream-like dialogues, discussions about dreams, attempts to change the future, reality that aligns with dreams, successfully altered dreams and future, and flashbacks.Keywords: surealism, Korean Drama, While You Were Sleepin
ANALISIS PRINSIP KESANTUNAN DALAM INTERAKSI BERBAHASA ANAK USIA 4-6 TAHUN DI TK PERTIWI UJUNG GADING KECAMATAN LEMBAH MELINTANG
Full text linkPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bentuk pematuhan dan pelanggaran, faktor-faktor, dan Solusi yang dapat mengatasi pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan berbahasa anak usia 4-6 tahun dalam melakukan interaksi di TK Pertiwi Ujung Gading, Kecamatan Lembah Melintang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Data penelitian ini adalah tuturan dari interaksi berbahasa anak usia 4-6 tahun yang menjadi objek penelitian. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah anak usia 4-6 tahun, orang tua anak, dan guru kelas di TK Pertiwi Ujung Gading, Kecamatan Lembah Melintang, Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 21 data pematuhan prinsip kesantunan berbahasa yang terbagi menjadi 8 data maksim kebijaksanaan, 2 data maksim kedermawanan, 2 data maksim penerimaan, 2 data maksim kerendahan hati, 3 data maksim kesetujuan, 4 data maksim kesimpatian. 17 data pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan yang terbagi menjadi 12 data maksim kebijaksanaan, 2 data maksim kerendahan hati, dan 3 data maksim kesetujuan. Bentuk pematuhan dan pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan berbahasa anak usia 4-6 tahun di TK Pertiwi Ujung Gading paling dominan terjadi pada maksim kebijaksanaan. Faktor- faktor yang mempengaruhi kesantunan berbahasa anak usia 4-6 tahun dalam melakukan interkasi di TK Pertiwi Ujung Gading adalah 1) hubungan keluarga yang kurang memperhatikan tuturan berbahasa terhadap anak, 2) lingkungan yang tidak mendukung proses interaksi anak, 3) pengaruh media berupa handphone. Solusi dalam mengatasi pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan dengan mengkondisi penggunaan tuturan berbahasa dan membiasakan anak untuk bersikap saling menghargai dalam melakukan interkasi di lingkungan keluarga maupun masyarakat

Full text linkWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
