    RINGKASAN Disain Analisis Sistem Alir Sederhana untuk Penentuan Besi Menggunakan Metode Spektrofotometri; Wiwin Setiani, 081810301006; 2013; 41 halaman; Jurusan Kimia Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Jember. Penentuan kadar besi dalam air biasanya dilakukan dengan metode batch menggunakan reagen pengkompleks 1,10-Fenantrolin. Pada metode analisis ini membutuhkan pereaksi dalam jumlah banyak, biaya cukup mahal dan buangan yang dihasilkan bersifat toksik bagi lingkungan. Flow Injection Analysis (FIA) adalah suatu metode analisis kimia dengan cara menyuntikkan sejumlah volume sampel ke dalam suatu aliran carrier dan akan terjadi reaksi tertentu yang kemudian dibawa ke suatu detektor. Pada metode ini terdapat beberapa kelebihan antara lain waktu analisis yang relative cepat, pelarut yang digunakan lebih sedikit, dan meminimalisir kontaminan. Dalam Flow Injection Analysis (FIA) terdapat beberapa komponen penting antara lain propelling unit, injection/insertion unit, transport and reaction unit, dan detektor. Pada penelitian ini yang paling penting yaitu pada bagian propelling unit. Propelling unit disini dicontohkan misalnya pompa peristaltic, pompa syringe, dan botol bertekanan. Bagian propelling unit yang sering digunakan yaitu pompa peristaltic, akan tetapi pompa ini mempunyai kelemahan. Salah satu kelemahannya yaitu pipa elastis yang digunakan untuk mengalirkan larutan, akan mudah rusak atau luka karena sering bergesekan dan bertekanan oleh roller pump serta harga yang relative mahal. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan alternatif yaitu dengan memanfaatkan fungsi botol Marriote sebagai pengganti pompa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1.) Menguji laju alir dan kelayakan rangkaian tersebut dilihat dari segi laju alir yang dihasilkan oleh rangkaian botol Mariotte, 2.) Mengetahui dan mempelajari konfigurasi rangkaian analisis sistem alir sederhana untuk penentuan besi dengan menggunakan komponen-komponen yang tersedia di lokal, sebagai langkah awal untuk mempelajari instrumentasi di bidang kimia, 3.) Menguji kelayakan rangkaian tersebut dilihat dari segi batas deteksi, sensitivitas, viii presisi dan uji recoverynya untuk digunakan sebagai penentuan besi dengan metode spektrofotometri. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh respon positif terhadap laju alir yang dihasilkan botol Marriote sehingga botol tersebut layak digunakan dalam analisis sistem alir sederhana untuk penentuan besi dalam air. Setelah dilakukan analisis menggunakan botol Marriote yang difungsikan sebagai pengganti pompa dalam analisis sistem alir diperoleh konsentrasi dari air sumur yang digunakan sebagai sampel yaitu sebesar 0,51 ppm dengan menggunakan metode analisis sistem alir sederhana dan 0,44 ppm dengan menggunakan metode batch sebagai pembanding. Analisis uji-t yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini bertujuan mengatahui ada atau tidak perbedaan yang signifikan antara metode acuan batch untuk pengukuran besi dan metode analisis sistem alir menggunakan botol Marriote. Dari perhitungan yang sudah dilakukan dihasilkan bahwa antara kedua metode tidak ada perbedaan secara signifikan

    Penelitian dilakukan pada ekosistem karst Gunung Kendeng Kabupaten Pati, Jawa Tengah dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman jenis burung diurnal dan pemanfaatan habitat oleh burung pada ekosistem karst Gunung Kendeng Kabupaten Pati, Jawa Tengah. Metode yang digunakan ialah kombinasi metode transek dan metode point count dengan metode IPA (Index Point of Abundance). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 33 jenis, 29 genus dan 17 famili. Sebanyak 6 jenis burung merupakan spesies endemik di Pulau Jawa dan 10 jenis burung adalah spesies yang dilindungi berdasarkan undang-undang, status perdagangan (CITES) dan keterancaman (IUCN). Berdasarkan indeks Shannon-wiener (H�) di seluruh lokasi pengamatan, H� burung di Gunung Kendeng Kabupaten Pati, Jawa Tengah termasuk kedalam kategori sedang. Kecamatan Kayen (2,324), Kecamatan Tambakromo (1,801), Kecamatan Sukolilo (1,787). Pemanfaatan stratifikasi vegetasi digunakan untuk bersarang, istirahat dan makan. Burung pemakan serangga Cucak Kutilang (Pycnonotus aurigaster) cendrung memilih ketinggian (1,80-4,50 m), pemakan biji (0,00-0,60 m) Bondol Jawa (Lonchura leucogastroides), pemakan nektar (0,450-15,00 m) Burung madu-polos (Anthreptes simplex), burung pemangsa (> 15,00 m ) Elang Hitam (Ictinaetus malayensis). Perbandingan aktivitas burung pada waktu pagi dan sore hari adalah aktivitas terbang pada sore hari (34,3%) dan pagi hari (30,7%), tengger sore hari (16,3%) dan pagi hari (20,7%), sarang sore hari (2%), makan sore hari (0,3%) dan pagi hari (1%), jalan sore hari (1,7%) dan pagi hari (1%

    Simple Design Flow Analysis System for Determination of Iron by Spectrophotometric method

    The purpose of this research is to make a series of analyzes using a flow system with a bottle Marriote as pump and spectrophotometric method for determining the content of iron in water samples. Determination of iron by this method used 1,10-fenantrolin complexing or 2,2-bipyridyl. In this method, Fe3+ is reduced to Fe2+ prior complexed with iron to form a specific color and then flowed it through a marriote bottle next to the spectrophotometer detector. The average flow rate of the liquid in the bottle Marriote amounted to 0.037 mL / sec. Limit detection obtained in the batch is 0.00017 ppm and 0.00023 ppm in simple flow systems analysis methods. Sensitivity obtained in the batch method is 0.027 and the simple flow system analysis method is 0.035. Flow rate precision values are expressed Marriote bottle with Kv values <5%. Values accuracy expreced percenting of recovery was 99% in the batch method, whereas the simple flow system analysis method was 98.5%. Results of t-test analysts suggest that iron determination using flow systems analysis (FIA) with the replacement pump bottle Marriote not differ significantly from the results obtained with the batch system.   Keywords: batch method, bottle Marriote, Flow Injection Analysis, spectrofotometr

This research aim is strengthening under and upper structure, nothing moving the user and operational — survey methodology with collecting primary and secondary data. Substructure and upper structure data are analyzed for the cause of the damage. The solution is the design and construction stages — design of substructure and upper structure strengthening. The right construction stage applies for an essential role in the success of the construction because the condition of the existing structure from the bottom up is weak. To increase the stability of the structure at the bottom of the stairs out towards the back is given a retaining wall, overcoming the horizontal direction of active soil pressure, ground water and surface water from the direction of the hill
