    Transfer Learning untuk Deteksi Status Burung di Indonesia Berbasis Web

    Indonesia is known as a country with very high biodiversity, one of which is reflected in the many bird species spread across various regions. The high public interest in birds presents challenges, in the form of increased bird trade practices, especially protected species. The main obstacle often faced by the public is the lack of information regarding the identification of protected bird species. Therefore, an application that can identify protected birds is needed. This study developed a web-based application using the Transfer learning approach in the classification of bird species in Indonesia. Five machine learning models were compared in this study: CNN, MobileNetV3Small, MobileNetV3Large, VGG16, and InceptionV4. The birds-525-species-image-classification dataset was used in the training process, then filtered to 54 bird species found in Indonesia. Model performance was evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. The developed web application uses React as the frontend and FastAPI as the backend and provides image upload and camera capture features to detect bird species directly. Test results show that MobileNetV3Large provides the most optimal performance and was selected for implementation in the system. In system testing through Black Box Testing, User Acceptance Test (UAT), System Usability Scale (SUS), and Net Promoter Score (NPS), it was shown that the application built had a good level of acceptance and ease of useIndonesia dikenal sebagai negara dengan keanekaragaman hayati yang sangat tinggi, salah satunya tercermin dari banyaknya spesies burung yang tersebar di berbagai wilayah. Tingginya minat masyarakat terhadap burung menimbulkan tantangan, berupa peningkatan praktik perdagangan burung, khususnya spesies yang berstatus dilindungi. Kendala utama yang sering dihadapi masyarakat adalah kurangnya informasi mengenai identifikasi spesies burung yang dilindungi. Untuk itu diperlukan suatu aplikasi yang dapat mengidentifikasi burung dilindungi. Penelitian ini mengembangkan aplikasi berbasis web dengan memanfaatkan pendekatan Transfer learning dalam klasifikasi spesies burung di Indonesia. Lima model pembelajaran mesin dibandingkan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu CNN, MobileNetV3Small, MobileNetV3Large, VGG16, dan InceptionV4. Dataset birds-525-species-image-classification digunakan dalam proses pelatihan, kemudian difilter menjadi 54 spesies burung yang terdapat di Indonesia. Kinerja model dievaluasi menggunakan metrik accuracy, precision, recall, dan F1-score. Aplikasi web yang dikembangkan menggunakan React sebagai frontend dan FastAPI sebagai backend, serta menyediakan fitur unggah gambar maupun capture kamera untuk mendeteksi spesies burung secara langsung. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa MobileNetV3Large memberikan performa paling optimal dan dipilih untuk diimplementasikan pada sistem.     Peningkatan Literasi Pengelolaan Keuangan Melalui Event BERANDA X OJK 2023

    Financial literacy is a fundamental necessity that everyone should possess to avoid financial issues. The Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan) is endeavoring to expand its financial literacy campaign program aimed at educating and enhancing the financial literacy of the community, with the current primary target being Housewives. Efforts supporting the Financial Services Authority's program to achieve this goal include socialization through the organization of the talk show event "Beranda (Belajar Antar Bunda)". To achieve this objective, the approach involves organizing the talk show event and conducting research using observation methods and questionnaires among the participants of the talk show event. The results of this research indicate that the "Beranda" talk show event was successfully conducted, as it provided benefits in financial management and significantly increased knowledge and awareness of financial literacy among the participants of the "Beranda" talk show event.Literasi keuangan adalah kebutuhan dasar yang harus dimiliki oleh seseorang, agar terhindar dari permasalahan tentang keuangan. Otoritas Jasa Keuangan berupaya dalam memperluas kampanye program literasi keuangan yang bertujuan untuk mengedukasi serta meningkatkan literasi keuangan masyarakat dengan target utama saat ini yaitu Ibu Rumah Tangga. Upaya yang mendukung program Otoritas Jasa Keuangan agar mencapai tujuan tersebut yaitu melakukan sosialisasi melalui penyelenggaraan event talkshow “Beranda (Belajar Antar Bunda)”.     The Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards for Entrepreneurs (IISMA-E) program is an initiative by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia aimed at providing international exposure for vocational students. This study aims to describe the implementation of MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Conference, Exhibition) activities carried out during the IISMA-E program at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, Germany. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collected through direct observation and documentation. The results show that the application of MICE in this program provided students with practical experience in organizing international-scale events, expanding professional networks, and understanding global work culture. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan MICE dalam program ini memberikan pengalaman praktis kepada mahasiswa dalam mengorganisasi acara berskala internasional, memperluas jejaring profesional, serta memahami budaya kerja global.     Karakteristik Pemilihan Venue Pameran oleh Perusahaan Penyelenggara Pameran di Jakarta

    This study aims to identify the factors influencing Professional Exhibition Organizers (PEOs) in selecting exhibition venues in Jakarta. As Indonesia’s economic hub, Jakarta provides several large-scale facilities such as the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD, and Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran. The study employs a quantitative-descriptive approach through a survey of 120 active PEOs and in-depth interviews with key venue managers. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). The results show five main factors affecting venue selection: (1) accessibility and transport, (2) facilities and flexibility, (3) service and professionalism, (4) image and reputation, and (5) pricing and administrative convenience. ICE BSD and JCC are the most preferred venues for their reliability and reputation. The findings conclude that venue selection decisions are driven more by experiential value and operational efficiency rather than rental cost. The study recommends the development of a digital platform, “Jakarta MICE Venue Hub”, to enhance collaboration and competitiveness of Jakarta’s MICE industry.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keputusan perusahaan penyelenggara pameran (Professional Exhibition Organizer / PEO) dalam memilih venue pameran di Jakarta. Sebagai pusat ekonomi nasional, Jakarta memiliki berbagai fasilitas pameran berskala besar seperti Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD, dan Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran. Persaingan antarvenue serta pergeseran karakter pasar MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, and Exhibition) menuntut pemahaman komprehensif terhadap preferensi dan karakteristik pemilihan lokasi oleh para penyelenggara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif-deskriptif melalui survei terhadap PEO di Jakarta dan wawancara mendalam dengan pengelola venue utama. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, korelasi Pearson, dan Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan lima faktor utama yang memengaruhi keputusan pemilihan venue, yaitu: (1) aksesibilitas dan transportasi, (2) fasilitas dan fleksibilitas ruang, (3) layanan pendukung dan profesionalisme SDM, (4) citra dan reputasi venue, serta (5) kebijakan harga dan kemudahan administrasi. ICE BSD dan JCC menjadi venue paling disukai dengan skor tertinggi pada aspek keandalan dan reputasi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa keputusan PEO lebih banyak dipengaruhi oleh nilai pengalaman (experiential value) dan efisiensi operasional dibandingkan dengan harga sewa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan platform digital “Jakarta MICE Venue Hub” sebagai basis data dan sistem koordinatif antar pemangku kepentingan untuk memperkuat daya saing industri MICE Jakarta

    THE ROLE OF ICE BREAKING IN SHAPING THE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT AND ENHANCING PARTICIPANT SATISFACTION

    This study investigates the influence of ice-breaking activities on the learning environment and participant satisfaction in community-based training programmes, particularly those linked to educational events in the MICE sector. Even though ice breaking is used a lot, there are not much empirical evidence about how it affects training outcomes. This research examines the direct effects of ice breaking on the learning environment, its impact on participant satisfaction, and the mediating role of the learning environment. A quantitative explanatory design was employed, involving 158 participants who participated in organised nonformal training sessions organised by the Institut Pariwisata Tedja Indonesia in 2025. Data were gathered by a 24-item questionnaire and evaluated using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS, encompassing assessments of convergent validity, discriminant validity, and reliability. Results indicate that ice breaking markedly enhances the learning environment (β = 0.783, p < 0.001). The learning environment has a big effect on the link between ice breaking and how happy participants are (β = 0.573, p < 0.001). A significant albeit modest direct effect of ice breaking on satisfaction was seen (β = 0.191, p = 0.003). The results show that well-structured opening activities improve psychological readiness, engagement, and positive emotional states, which in turn improve the overall training experience for participants. The study contributes to the literature on experiential learning and offers practical guidance for facilitators and event organisers to develop more engaging and effective training programmes

    Pemanfaatan Animasi 2D sebagai Media Pembelajaran Literasi Digital Ramah Anak di Era Society 5.0

    This study aims to develop 2D animation as a child-friendly digital literacy learning medium in the Society 5.0 era, focusing on three main aspects, namely internet safety, digital ethics, and digital creativity. The media development was carried out using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) model through six stages: concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution, which were implemented using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Premiere Pro software. The evaluation was conducted using a qualitative approach through interviews with 46 respondents consisting of teachers and students in Batam City to assess the visual and audio quality, clarity of material, relevance of content, and effectiveness of animation in supporting digital literacy understanding. The results of the study showed that the majority of respondents rated the quality of the images, characters, and sound as very good and attractive, the presentation of the material was easy to understand, and the information conveyed was accurate and reliable. In addition, 2D animation was considered capable of increasing knowledge about the safe, ethical, and creative use of digital technology, while also attracting children's interest in learning. These findings indicate that 2D animation has strong potential as a child-friendly digital literacy learning medium that is relevant to the context of Society 5.0, and can be used as a model for the development of similar media at other levels and in other educational environments.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan animasi 2D sebagai media pembelajaran literasi digital ramah anak di era Society 5.0 dengan fokus pada tiga aspek utama, yaitu keamanan internet, etika digital, dan kreativitas digital. Pengembangan media dilakukan menggunakan model Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) melalui enam tahapan: concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, dan distribution, yang diimplementasikan dengan perangkat lunak Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, dan Adobe Premiere Pro. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara terhadap 46 responden yang terdiri dari guru dan siswa di Kota Batam untuk menilai kualitas visual dan audio, kejelasan materi, relevansi konten, serta efektivitas animasi dalam mendukung pemahaman literasi digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden menilai kualitas gambar, karakter, dan suara sangat baik dan menarik, penyajian materi mudah dipahami, serta informasi yang disampaikan akurat dan dapat diandalkan. Selain itu, animasi 2D dinilai mampu meningkatkan wawasan terkait penggunaan teknologi digital secara aman, etis, dan kreatif, sekaligus menarik minat belajar anak. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa animasi 2D memiliki potensi kuat sebagai media pembelajaran literasi digital ramah anak yang relevan dengan konteks Society 5.0, serta dapat dijadikan model pengembangan media serupa pada jenjang dan lingkungan pendidikan lainnya

    Variasi Temperatur Termophilic Pada Digester Biogas Berbahan Baku Limbah Kulit Durian

    The global energy crisis and Indonesia's dependence on fossil fuels (BBF) have driven the need to explore renewable energy sources. Biogas, as a sustainable solution, is produced through anaerobic degradation of materials with methane (CH₄) 50–75% and carbon dioxide (CO₂) 30–45% as its dominant components. Agro industrial waste such as durian peel shows great potential for biogas production, as Indonesia produces more than 19 thousand tons of durian annually according to the 2024 Statistics Indonesia report. Utilizing durian peel is ideal since its composition (65–80%) is significantly higher than that of the pulp (20–35%) and seeds (5–15%). This study employed a substrate ratio of 5 grams of total solids (TS) + 100 mL of inoculum + 200 mL of distilled water, with intermittent stirring (three times per day, 1 minute per session). The tested temperature variations under thermophilic conditions 40°C, 45°C, and 50°C, including one control without heating. The analysis focused on daily pressure accumulation and gas composition profiles (CH₄ and CO₂). The results show that 40°C (thermophilic condition) achieved maximum efficiency due to optimal methanogenic microbial activity, producing higher methane (CH₄) yield compared to other temperatures. This study contributes to the development of renewable energy from agricultural waste in tropical regions and supports Indonesia’s national energy transition program.Krisis energi global dan ketergantungan Indonesia pada bahan bakar fosil (BBF) mendorong perlunya eksplorasi sumber energi terbarukan. Biogas, sebagai solusi berkelanjutan, diproduksi melalui degradasi anaerobik material organik dengan komposisi dominan metana (CH₄: 50-75%) dan karbon dioksida (CO₂: 30-45%). Limbah agroindustri seperti kulit durian dengan produksi buah durian secara nasional melebihi 19 ribu ton per tahun berdasarkan data Badan Pusat Statisktik tahun 2024, Potensi menggunakan limbah kulit durian ini menjadi ideal karena komposisi kulit (65-80%) jauh lebih tinggi dibandingkan daging (20–35%) dan biji (5–15%). Penelitian ini menggunakan rasio substrat 5 gram padatan total (Total Solid) + 100 mL inokulum + 200 mL akuades, dengan pengadukan intermiten (3x/hari, durasi 1 menit/sesi). Variasi suhu yang diuji pada keadaan termofilik (40°C, 45°C, 50°C) dan kontrol tanpa pemanasan, dengan fokus analisis pada akumulasi tekanan harian dan Profil gas (CH₄ dan CO₂). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suhu 40°C (kondisi termofilik) menunjukkan efisiensi maksimal dari aktivitas optimal mikroba metanogenik, dengan produksi gas metana (CH₄) lebih tinggi dibandingkan suhu lainnya.     This study examines the multifaceted registration process implemented for the Indonesia International Sustainability Forum (IISF) 2024, assessing its efficiency and impact on overall event management. As a nation with significant natural resources, Indonesia’s commitment to sustainable development is paramount, making IISF a vital platform for advancing green initiatives. The research adopts a qualitative and comparative analysis methodology, drawing insights from direct observation, detailed meeting minutes, and a comprehensive case study conducted during a six-month internship at Kadin Indonesia. Key findings reveal a comprehensive online pre-registration, a stringent participant verification process guided by a specific matrix, and a streamlined re-registration procedure using QR codes and RFID technology. The paper also identifies and discusses specific challenges encountered, such as data accuracy and managing diverse participant expectations, alongside the practical solutions implemented. This research underscores the critical role of an effective and user-friendly registration system in the successful execution of large-scale international MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) events, offering valuable lessons and best practices for future event planning and contributing to the body of knowledge in professional event management.Studi ini mengkaji proses registrasi yang kompleks dan berlapis yang diterapkan dalam Indonesia International Sustainability Forum (IISF) 2024, dengan menilai efisiensi serta dampaknya terhadap keseluruhan manajemen acara. Sebagai negara yang memiliki sumber daya alam melimpah, komitmen Indonesia terhadap pembangunan berkelanjutan sangatlah penting, menjadikan IISF sebagai platform penting dalam mendorong inisiatif hijau. Penelitian ini mengadopsi metode analisis kualitatif dan analisis komparatif, dengan mengacu pada observasi langsung, notulensi rapat yang terperinci, serta studi kasus menyeluruh yang dilakukan saat masa magang selama enam bulan di Kadin Indonesia. Temuan utama menunjukkan adanya sistem pra-registrasi daring yang komprehensif, proses verifikasi peserta yang ketat dengan panduan matriks tertentu, serta prosedur registrasi ulang yang efisien menggunakan teknologi kode QR dan RFID. Makalah ini juga mengidentifikasi serta membahas tantangan spesifik yang dihadapi, seperti keakuratan data dan pengelolaan ekspektasi peserta yang beragam, beserta solusi praktis yang telah diterapkan.     KAJIAN METAFORA PADA JULUKAN NEGATIF TERHADAP JOKO WIDODO DI MEDIA SOSIAL

    Towards the end of his presidency in 2024, Joko Widodo came under intense scrutiny from the Indonesian public. Allegations of a political dynasty sparked widespread disappointment. This dissatisfaction was expressed through various metaphorically meaningful negative nicknames on the social media platform Instagram. The aim of this study is to analyze the metaphorical meanings embedded in the negative nicknames directed at Joko Widodo. The data consists of 25 negative nicknames found on Instagram, analyzed using the Conceptual Metaphor Theory proposed by Lakoff & Johnson (2003). The method employed is qualitative descriptive with a focus on content analysis. The results of the study shows that the metaphors used by Instagram users carry strong implications for Jokowi's political image. These nicknames associate him with authoritarianism, deception, nepotism, or the suppression of democracy. The use of such metaphors has the potential to damage Joko Widodo’s public image, especially when linked to public dissatisfaction with his administration’s policies.Menjelang akhir jabatannya sebagai Presiden RI di tahun 2024, Joko Widodo mendapatkan sorotan cukup tajam dari masyarakat Indonesia. Adanya dugaan wacana politik dinasti menimbulkan kekecewaan masyarakat. Kekecewaan ini diekspresikan melalui berbagai macam julukan negative bermakna metaforis di media sosial Instagram. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis makna metafora yang ada pada julukan negative terhadap Joko Widodo. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah julukan negative terhadap Joko Widodo yang ada di media sosial Instagram berjumlah 25 data dan akan dikaji menggunakan Teori Metafora yang digagas oleh Lakoff & Johnsen (2003). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif yang berfokus pada analisis isi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metafora-metafora yang digunakan oleh netizen di Instagram memiliki implikasi kuat terhadap citra politik Jokowi. Julukan-julukan tersebut mengasosiasikan Jokowi dengan kekuasaan otoriter, penipuan, nepotisme, atau penindasan demokrasi. Penggunaan metafora seperti ini dapat membuat public image Joko Widodo buruk, terutama jika dikaitkan dengan ketidakpuasan publik terhadap kebijakan-kebijakan pemerintahannya

    CONTEXTUAL LEARNING MANAGEMENT TO IMPROVE STUDENTS’ SCIENCE COMPETENCE AT MADRASAH TSANAWIYAH IN BUNGO REGENCY

    This study aims to analyze the management of contextual learning in improving students’ science competence at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Bungo Regency. The research focuses on how the planning, implementation, and evaluation of contextual learning are organized to optimize students’ scientific understanding and engagement. The study employed a classroom action research design conducted in two cycles with 28 eighth-grade students as the subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and achievement tests, and were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. The findings reveal that contextual learning management through systematic planning, the use of real-world media, and reflective evaluation significantly improved students’ science competence. The percentage of students achieving the minimum mastery criterion increased from 25% in the pre-cycle to 85.71% in the second cycle. This improvement demonstrates that effective instructional management emphasizing student participation, collaborative learning, and authentic assessment creates a meaningful learning environment that strengthens both cognitive mastery and scientific skills. The study highlights that managing contextual learning with an integrative and reflective approach can serve as a strategic model for enhancing educational quality in Islamic junior high schools.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen pembelajaran kontekstual dalam meningkatkan kompetensi sains siswa di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Kabupaten Bungo. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada bagaimana perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran kontekstual diorganisasi untuk mengoptimalkan pemahaman ilmiah dan keterlibatan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan subjek sebanyak 28 siswa kelas VIII. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes hasil belajar, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pembelajaran kontekstual melalui perencanaan yang sistematis, penggunaan media berbasis dunia nyata, dan evaluasi reflektif secara signifikan meningkatkan kompetensi sains siswa. Persentase siswa yang mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal meningkat dari 25% pada pra-siklus menjadi 85,71% pada siklus kedua. Peningkatan ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pembelajaran yang efektif dengan menekankan partisipasi siswa, pembelajaran kolaboratif, dan penilaian autentik menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang bermakna yang memperkuat penguasaan kognitif dan keterampilan ilmiah.
