    The background of the problem in this research is Nagari Muaro Paneh Bukit Sundi Kabupaten Solok is the background in this research people use Minangkabau language in everyday speech. Speeches containing figurative meanings contained very rarely spoken by the community, some younger generations lack the understanding of the figurative meanings contained. The custom of malala gala still gets its place in the middle of society and always done in every traditional ceremony. In addition, a small proportion of the younger generation are still willing to learn about Malewa Traditional gala. The purpose of this research is to describe the meaning in the metaphor in the text of Malewa Gala Batagak Panghulu customary speech in Nagari Muaro Paneh Bukit Sundi Kabupaten Solok. This research type is qualitative research by using descriptive method. The object of research is the text of Malewa Gala Batagak Panghulu customary speech in Nagari Muaro Paneh Bukit Sundi Kabupaten Solok. The research findings of figurative meanings are improper meanings, the language is based on figures. The figurative meaning is conveyed in the text of the Malewa tradition of Gala Batagak Panghulu. In the data that has been obtained in the research, that on the meaning of metaphor in the text of custom speech Malewa Gala Batagak Panghulu in Nagari Muaro Paneh Bukit Sundi Subdistrict Solok Regency there are 140 where there are 7 idiom data idiom meaning that is 5 full idioms and 2 partial idiom data, meaning kias phrases contain 13 which are entirely word or group of distinctive words to express something meanings with the meaning of the metaphor of data and the meaning of the maxim of the proverbs there are 120 data which 6 including the proverbial thimbles, the proverbial proverbs, the 50 proverbs, 2 proverbs of the parable, and 17 including proverbs are like. Suggested community leaders in order to preserve and socialize the values ??contained in the figurative meaning in the text of Malewa Gala Batagak traditional speech Panghulu.Latar belakang masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu  Nagari Muaro Paneh Kecamatan Bukit Sundi Kabupaten Solok merupakan latar dalam penelitian ini masyarakatnya menggunakan bahasa Minangkabau dalam penuturan sehari-hari. Tuturan yang mengandung makna kiasan yang terkandung sangat jarang diucapkan oleh masyarakat, sebagian generasi muda kurang memahami makna kiasan yang terkandung tersebut. Adat malewakan gala masih mendapat tempat di tengah-tengah masyarakat dan selalu dilakukan dalam setiap upacara adat. Selain itu, sebagian kecil generasi muda masih ada yang mau belajar tentang Adat malewakan gala. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan makna dalam kiasan dalam teks pidato adat Malewakan Gala Batagak Panghulu di Nagari Muaro Paneh Kecamatan Bukit Sundi Kabupaten Solok. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Objek penelitian adalah teks pidato adat Malewakan Gala Batagak Panghulu di Nagari Muaro Paneh Kecamatan Bukit Sundi Kabupaten Solok. Temuan penelitian makna kiasan  adalah makna yang tidak sebenarnya, bahasanya berdasarkan kiasan. Makna kiasan disampaikan dalam teks pidato adat Malewakan Gala Batagak Panghulu. Pada data yang telah didapat dalam penelitian, bahwa pada makna kiasan dalam teks pidato adat Malewakan Gala Batagak Panghulu di Nagari Muaro Paneh Kecamatan Bukit Sundi Kabupaten Solok terdapat 140 dimana terdapa t makna kias idiom 7 data yang merupakan 5 idiom penuh dan 2 data idiom sebagian, makna kias ungkapan terdapat 13 yang seluruhnya merupakan perkataan atau kelompok kata yang khas untuk menyatakan sesuatu maksud dengan arti kiasan data dan makna kias peribahasa terdapat 120 data yang mana 6 termasuk peribahasa bidal, 9 peribahasa pepatah, 50 peribahasa teromba, 2 peribahasa perumpamaan, 2 peribahasa tamsil dan 17 termasuk peribahasa ibarat. Disarankan pemuka masyarakat agar dapat melestarikan dan mensosialisasikan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam makna kiasan pada teks pidato adat Malewakan Gala Batagak Panghulu

    Analisis Kecepatan Efektif Membaca Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia UMMY Solok

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam kegiatan membaca cepat. Sebagai mahasiswa, dituntut kemampuan untuk membaca dengan cepat sekaligus memahami isi bacaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji kecepatan efektif membaca mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia UMMY Solok, mengevaluasi pemahaman bacaan mereka, serta mengidentifikasi faktor internal dan eksternal yang memengaruhi kemampuan membaca efektif mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui beberapa prosedur: (1) memberikan teks bacaan kepada mahasiswa, (2) mengukur durasi membaca menggunakan stopwatch, (3) memberikan soal pemahaman yang berkaitan dengan teks, (4) meminta mahasiswa menjawab soal berdasarkan ingatan dan pemahaman, serta (5) mengumpulkan seluruh hasil tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa (35,71%) berada pada kategori "Sangat Rendah," yang mengindikasikan bahwa mayoritas memiliki kemampuan membaca yang terbatas. Temuan ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh faktor internal maupun eksternal terhadap kemampuan membaca efektif mahasiswa

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    The background of this research is the phonological acquisition of children aged 3-4 years who have difficulty pronouncing several phoneme sounds. When conveying what he wants, sometimes the people around him don't understand because he can't speak fluently compared to his peers. This study aims to describe the acquisition of phonology, namely the phonetic and phonemic part, in children aged 3-4 years in Jorong Bukit Kili Nagari Koto Baru, Kubung District, Solok Regency. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive method. Research data obtained from data sources in the form of speech The data collection technique is done by recording. The steps in data collection were: 1) socializing with the chil; 2) observing the child in dialogue with the people around him; and 3) recording the speech the child said. The steps taken in analyzing the data included: 1) listening to the recordings; 2) transcribing the spoken data into written language; 3) coding based on the type of language acquisition; 4) classifying children's speech into a tabular format found in the research instrument; 5) analyzing the data; and 6) concluding the data analysis. Based on the research findings obtained in the field, a total of 1,350 data was found. So, the most commonly found phonological acquisition is consonants. This is because it is evident from the story found by Matteo Alaric Pratama.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pemerolehan fonologi anak usia 3-4 tahun yang mengalami kesulitan dalam mengucapkan beberapa bunyi fonem. Apabila menyampaikan yang diinginkan terkadang orang disekitarnya tidak mengerti, karena dia belum mampu berbicara lancar dibandingkan teman sebayanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemerolehan fonologi yaitu bagian fonetik dan fonemik pada anak usia 3-4 tahun di Jorong Bukit Kili Nagari Koto Baru Kecamatan Kubung Kabupaten Solok. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data penelitian diperoleh dari sumber data berupa tuturan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik rekaman.  Langkah-langkah dalam pengumpulan data: 1) bersosialisasi dengan anak tersebut, 2) mengamati anak tersebut berdialog dengan orang sekitarnya, dan 3) merekam tuturan yang diucapkan anak tersebut. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan dalam menganalisis data antara lain: 1) mendengarkan hasil rekaman, 2) mentranskripsikan data lisan ke dalam bahasa tertulis, 3) memberi kode berdasarkan jenis pemerolehan bahasa, 4) mengklasifikasikan tuturan anak ke dalam format tabel yang terdapat pada instrumen penelitian, 5) menganalisis data, dan 6) menyimpulkan analisis data. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian yang diperoleh dilapangan ditemukan keselurahan 1.350 data. Jadi, pemerolehan fonologi yang paling banyak ditemukan adalah konsonan.     Variations on the Author

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     KEMAMPUAN MENGIDENTIFIKASI UNSUR-UNSUR TEKS DRAMA SISWA KELAS VIII SEMESTER II SMP NEGERI 4 LEMBANG JAYA TAHUN AJARAN 2022/2023

    This research aims to describe the ability to identify the elements of drama texts for class VIII Semester II students at SMP Negeri 4 Lembang Jaya for the 2022/2023 academic year. This type of research is quantitative research using descriptive methods. The population of this research was class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Lembang Jaya, Solok Regency. The research sample for class VIII C students registered in that academic year was 72 people, with a sample size of 24 people. The research sampling technique was carried out using a purposive sampling technique by taking subjects from each stratum or each region determined to be balanced or comparable with the number of subjects in each stratum or region. The data collection technique in this research is a performance test. Data analysis techniques include reading, correcting and scoring student test results, converting raw scores into grades, classifying student grades on a scale of 10, making a histogram, and summarizing the results in the form of a thesis. The results of the research on the ability to identify the elements of a drama text, the average score of students' ability to identify plot elements, namely 94.33, is in very good qualifications, students' ability to identify elements of characterization, namely 95.75, is in very good qualifications, students' ability to identify dialogue elements, namely 100, are in perfect qualifications, students' ability to identify elements, namely 100, is in perfect qualifications, students' ability to identify theme elements is 55.04, is in almost sufficient qualifications, students' ability to identify message elements, namely 88.66, is in very good qualifications. . Based on the qualifications above, it can be concluded that the students' ability to identify the elements of drama texts in class VIII Semester II of SMP Negeri 4 Lembang Jaya for the 2022/2023 academic year has been able to identify drama texts in very good qualifications with a mastery level of 86-95% with a score average 89.06.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan mengidentifikasi unsur-unsur teks drama siswa kelas VIII Semester II SMP Negeri 4 Lembang Jaya Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan mengguanakan metode deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Lembang Jaya Kabupaten Solok. Sampel penelitian kelas VIII C siswa yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran tersebut adalah berjumlah 72 orang, dengan jumlah sampel 24 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik Purposive sampling dengan cara pengambilan subjek dari setiap strata atau setiap wilayah ditentukan seimbang atau sebanding dengan banyak subjek dengan masing-masing strata atau wilayah. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah tes unjuk kerja. Teknik analisis data berupa, membaca, mengoreksi dan memberikan skor hasil tes siswa, mengubah skor mentah menjadi nilai, mengklasifikasikan nilai siswa dengan skala 10, membuat histogram, dan menyimpulkan hasil dalam bentuk skripsi. Hasil penelitian kemampuan mengidentifikasi unsur-unsur teks drama, nilai rata-rata kemampuan siswa dalam mengidentifikasi unsur alur yaitu 94,33 berada pada kualifikasi baik sekali, kemampuan siswa dalam mengidentifikasi unsur penokohan  yaitu 95,75 berada pada kualifikasi baik sekali, kemampuan siswa dalam mengidentifikasi unsur dialog yaitu 100 berada pada kualifikasi sempurna, kemampuan siswa dalam mengidentifikasi unsur yaitu 100 berada pada kualifikasi sempurna, kemampuan siswa dalam mengidentifikasi unsur tema 55,04 berada pada kualifikasi hampir cukup, kemampuan siswa dalam mengidentifikasi unsur amanat  yaitu 88,66 pada kualifikasi baik sekali. Berdasarkan kualifikasi di atas  dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam mengidentifikasi unsur-unsur teks drama siswa kelas VIII Semester II SMP Negeri 4 Lembang Jaya tahun ajaran 2022/2023 telah mampu mengidentifikasi teks drama berada pada kualifikasi baik sekali dengan tingkat penguasaan 86-95% dengan nilai rata-rata 89,06

    KEMAMPUAN MENULIS TEKS PROSEDUR DALAM KEGIATAN PEMBELAJARAN PROJEK PENGUATAN PROFIL PELAJAR PANCASILA (P5) SISWA KELAS VII SMPN 4 KUBUNG KABUPATEN SOLOK

    This research was motivated by students' ability to write procedural texts in learning activities (P5).  Based on the results of observations and interviews that researchers found, in the P5 learning activity report there are procedures or procedures for working on a project. Therefore, researchers found a connection between learning Indonesian, namely procedural texts in making reports from P5 activities. This type of research is quantitative using descriptive research methods. This research data was obtained from the results of student performance. The data collection techniques in this research are: (1) the researcher explains writing procedural texts based on their structure and linguistic characteristics to students. (2) the researcher provides examples of correct procedural texts according to their structure and linguistic characteristics. (3) the researcher gives students the opportunity to ask questions about the procedure text that will be written. (4) the researcher instructed the students to write procedure texts according to what had been practiced in the P5 local wisdom activity "making batik" (5) the researcher collected the students' procedure texts that had been written. Based on the research results, it was found that the ability to write procedure texts in P5 learning according to the procedure text structure was 93.35 with very good qualifications and linguistic rules were 83.9 with good qualifications. Based on the research results described in chapter IV, the ability to write procedural texts in learning activities (P5), class VII students at SMPN 4 Kubung, Solok Regency obtained an average of 88.67 with excellent qualifications.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemampuan menulis teks prosedur siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran (P5).  Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara yang peneliti temukan, dalam laporan kegiatan pembelajaran P5 terdapat prosedur atau tatacara dalam pengerjaan suatu projek. Oleh karena itu peneliti menemukan keterkaitan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia yaitu teks prosedur dalam pembuatan laporan dari kegiatan P5 ini. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasil unjuk kerja siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) peneliti menjelaskan mengenai penulisan teks prosedur berdasarkan struktur dan ciri kebahasaannya kepada siswa. (2) peneliti memberikan contoh teks prosedur yang benar sesuai dengan struktur dan ciri kebahasaannya. (3) peneliti memberikan kesempatan siswa untuk bertanya mengenai teks prosedur yang akan dituliskan. (4) peneliti mengintruksikan kepada siswa untuk menuliskan teks prosedur sesuai dengan yang telah dipraktekkan pada kegiatan P5 kearifan lokal “membatik” (5) peneliti mengumpulkan teks prosedur siswa yang telah selesai dituliskan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kemampuan menulis teks prosedur dalam pembelajaran P5 sesuai struktur teks prosedur adalah 93,35 dengan kualifikasi baik sekali serta kaidah kebahasaan 83,9 dengan kualifikasi baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diuraikan dalam bab IV kemampuan menulis teks prosedur dalam kegiatan pembelajaran (P5) siswa kelas VII SMPN 4 Kubung Kabupaten Solok memperoleh rata-rata 88,67 dengan kualifikasi baik sekali
