A STUDY ON YOUTH PARTICIPATION IN MYANMAR’S GENERAL ELECTIONS 2020 (Win Zaw Khin, 2022)
This study analyzes knowledge and awareness of Youth Participation in the
Myanmar Elections 2020 and youth’s knowledge on Myanmar Youth Policy. In this
study, the descriptive method is used based on the primary data through online google
form survey. The survey data was collected through social media platform (Facebook)
from the network of the author, friends and friends of friends, thus participants were
not selected systematically. It was because the survey data collection time was
coinciding with 2nd wave Covid 19 pandemic therefor face to face data collection was
not possible. A total of 672 respondents of youths (aged 18 to 35) from the 14 Regions
and States as well as from Nay Pyi Taw Council (the Administrative Capital of
Myanmar) participated in this survey. It is noteworthy that most of all youths know
their eligibility to cast vote for 2020 general elections. The majority of youths already
decided to vote in the 2020 general elections. However, youths did not focus much
about selecting youth candidacy or representatives in both Union Level and States &
Regions parliaments. Regarding the awareness about Myanmar Youth Policy, or the
content of policy, it was found that only (9.1 per cent) knew the correct year of the
released date for Myanmar Youth Policy, only (3.7 per cent) realized the “9 Basic
Principles” and (8.0 per cent) had a knowledge about the part of political affairs under
the main sectors of Youth Policy. Nearly half of the respondents (46.3 per cent)
answered the correct answer for youth aged ranged 15- 35 years old. Regarding the
ladder of participation, about (23 per cent) realized “Young people’s initiative,
decisions made in partnership with adults, which is the highest level of the ladder.

Customer Relationship Management Practices, Customer Satisfaction and Customer Loyalty of KB Microfinance Myanmar (Win Zaw Tun, 2024)
This research examines how CRM practices affect customer satisfaction and loyalty
to KB Microfinance Myanmar. Use descriptive and quantitative research methods. Uses
primary and secondary data. CRM practises include customer focus, technology
orientation, reliability, employee behaviour, and knowledge management in this study.
There are 80,000 active key customers who take loans from KB Microfinance Myanmar.
By calculating Yamane (1973) sample size formula, 398 active customers are selected by
simple random sampling method. Regression analysis is applied to find out the relationship
between independent and dependent variables. The study found that all CRM practices (key
customer focus, technology orientation, reliability, behavior of employees and knowledge
of management) have positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Regression
result indicates that knowledge management is the most effective factor on the satisfaction
of KB Microfinance Myanmar. It is also found that customer satisfaction has positive and
significant effect on customer loyalty. Based on the result of findings, KB Microfinance
Myanmar should continue implementing knowledge management of CRM. It should also
consider incorporating knowledge management in every aspect of business. KB
Microfinance Myanmar should offer more repayment channels or options, and provide
clear and transparent online loan processing. Finally, KB Microfinance Myanmar should
regularly provide customer service training to get more customer satisfaction and loyalty
Capacity Building Strategies and Performance of Judicial Staff: A Case Study of Judicial Court, Thingankyun District ( Ei Win Zaw, 2025)
This study examines capacity building and performance of judicial staff of Thingankyun District Court. The study aims to evaluate the perception of the judicial staff on performance improvement programs on staff performance to explore the perception of professional development programs on staff performance and to create the perception of training on staff performance. In this study, descriptive method is used. The secondary data were obtained from supreme court of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. It is also conducted based on a structure questionnaire. The survey
question are built in to three sections Section A considered of profile of judicial staffs and Section B and C asked for the respondents performance improvement programs. A sample of (56) judicial staff for Thingankyun District Court are selected through
convenient sampling method. This study found that professional development programs were an important component that positively related with staff performance. The programs were being perceived as a judicial court benefit where staff can attain better qualifications and was not in anyway being utilized to cause better performance for the district court
Design and Construction of Navigation Based Auto Self Driving Vehicle using Google Map API with GPS
Self driving vehicles are one of the most useful technologies in many applications such as bomb disposal, underwater exploration, industrial transport etc. Control and guidance are important aspects of research and many techniques have been proposed in literature which range from fully autonomous and intelligent systems to laser and radar guided systems and line followers. This paper presents a technique for guiding and controlling autonomous vehicles by using the Google Map API Application Program Interface . GPS Global Positioning System was fitted to this system for localization of the vehicle on Google map application via Wi Fi module. A Study on the Awareness of High School Students About Environmental Conservation and Waste Management in Pyay District ( Honey Win Zaw, 2025)
This study investigates the environmental conservation and waste management awareness of high school students in Pyay District, Myanmar. A total of 371 students from seven high schools participated in a structured survey using a descriptive research method. Primary data were gathered through Likert-scaled questionnaires, and secondary data were sourced from institutions such as the World Bank, UNEP, and the Environmental Conservation Department (ECD). The survey explored sources of environmental knowledge from students, participation in ecological activities, awareness of environmental issues, and behavioral engagement with reduce, reuse, and recycle (3Rs) principles. Findings indicate that media and schools serve as primary information sources, while tree planting and cleaning activities are common forms of engagement. Students rated environmental consequences of improper waste disposal as highly significant, identifying weak policies, careless habits, and inadequate infrastructure as key contributing factors. Proposed solutions such as recycling, awareness campaigns, and facility improvements received substantial support. Behavioral data revealed consistent student participation in 3Rs practices. The study provides a comprehensive understanding of students’ environmental awareness and offers a baseline for future research and educational development in Pyay District. This study also contributes to promoting sustainability through youth-centered environmental policy and education in Myanmar
SMS Alarm System for Weather Station using Arduino and GSM Module
Nowadays, the monitoring of weather is utilized to make many important decisions on a daily routine. So, by using one of the technologies, this alarm system is designed for real time weather station using Arduino and GSM module. This real time weather station is to send the LCD display and the alert to the user via short message sending SMS in the wake of a critically of an event which is predefined by the user. One of the important applications of the system is to send the alarm message to the defined mobile phone number. This system is to be convenient for monitoring the weather conditions without manual efforts. A palaeomagnetic study of the Middle Permian and Middle Triassic limestones from Shan State, Myanmar: Implications for collision of the Sibumasu Terrane and Indochina Terrane
We report herein a new palaeomagnetic study on the Middle Permian and Middle Triassic limestones from Shan State of eastern Myanmar, aiming to resolve the spatial location of the Sibumasu Terrane during the collision of tectonic blocks in Southeast Asia and to constrain the timing of convergence between the Sibumasu Terrane and Indochina Terrane. Based on the rock magnetic and palaeomagnetic experiments, three stable characteristic remnant magnetizations are recognized from limestone specimens of Middle Permian and Middle Triassic age. The characteristic Component C of the Middle Permian limestone passed the fold test at 95% confidence level, indicative of a pre-folding origin. The mean direction of this component is D = 10.7°, I = 17.9° (κ = 130.3, α

= 10.8°) before and D = 13.7°, I = −25.3° (κ = 1894.9, α

= 2.8°) after tilt correction, corresponding to a palaeomagnetic pole at 254.1°E, 53.2°N (A

= 1.7°). This suggests that the Sibumasu Terrane was placed at a palaeolatitude of ~13.0°S during the Middle Permian. The Component C separated from the Middle Triassic samples also passed the fold test with a mean direction of D = 207.3°, I = −8.3° (κ = 12.9, α

= 6.2°) before tilt correction and D = 205.6°, I = −33.5° (κ = 27.1, α

= 4.2°) after tilt correction, corresponding to a palaeomagnetic pole at 187.3°E, 65.8°N (dp/dm = 2.7°/4.8°). This implies that the Sibumasu Terrane was located at a palaeolatitude of ~18.3°N during the Middle Triassic. Based upon the detailed palaeomagnetic analysis, this study supports the view that the collision of the Sibumasu Terrane and Indochina Terrance occurred during or before the Middle–Late Triassic times.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed.
