    Multi-Head Voting based on Kernel Filtering for Fine-grained Visual Classification

    Research on Fine-Grained Visual Classification (FGVC) faces a significant challenge in distinguishing objects with subtle differences within intra-class variations and inter-class similarities, which are critical for accurate classification. To address this complexity, many advanced methods have been proposed using feature coding, part-based components for modification, and attention-based efforts to facilitate different classification phases. Vision Transformers (ViT) has recently emerged as a promising competitor compared to other complex methods in FGVC applications for image recognition, which are mainly capable of capturing more fine-grained details and subtle inter-class differences with higher accuracy. While these advances have shown improvements in various tasks, existing methods still suffer from inconsistent learning performance across heads and layers in the multi-head self-attention (MHSA) mechanisms that result in suboptimal classification task performance. To enhance the performance of ViT, we propose an innovative approach that modifies the convolutional kernel.  Our method considerably improves the method's capacity to identify and highlight specific crucial characteristics required for classification by using an array of kernels. Experimental results show kernel sharpening outperforms other state-of-the-art approaches in improving accuracy across numerous datasets, including Oxford-IIIT Pet, CUB-200-2011, and Stanford Dogs. Our findings show that the suggested approach improves the method's overall performance in classification tasks by achieving more concentration and precision in recognizing discriminative areas inside pictures. Using kernel adjustments to improve Vision Transformers' ability to differentiate somewhat complicated visual features, our strategy offers a strong response to the problem of fine-grained categorization

Namun dari semua itu harus tetap dapat memberikan informasi yang lengkap dan jelas serta efisien dalam visual maupun verbal.     © 2021 Elsevier LtdThis short communication provides a discourse emerged after reading “Stacking ensemble based deep neural networks modeling for effective epileptic seizure detection, Expert Systems with Applications, 148, 113239, 2020.” The discussed paper proposes a novel application of stacking-based ensemble for seizure detection, where several deep neural networks were used as base classifiers. The ensemble design and experimental results presented by the author show some weaknesses, which is indicated by, one of which, an inability of the proposed model to outperform previous studies. In this note, controversy of the discussed paper is explained and an improved version of stacking-based deep neural network is also further introduced and detailed to prevent it in the future.11Nsciescopu

    Using Non-Stationary Training Images from Process-Based Models for Multiple Point Geostatistics Stochastic Generation of Fluvial-Dominated Delta Reservoir Model

    Process-based method forward stratigraphic modelling provides advantages in reservoir modelling by simulating the geological process mathematically, and the genesis of geologic formations over time (Michael et al., 2010). In spite of its advantages, Miller et al. (2008) have recognised significant challenges in process-based simulation models, one of them is the incapability to condition to subsurface data. The problem in conditioning the data can be addressed by using an alternative method named multiple-point geostatistics (MPS) in modelling the subsurface since its introduction in 1993 by Guardiano and Srivastava. MPS considers the relationship between multiple data points that is different from the conventional geostatistical methods that are commonly limited to using a linear relationship between data (Guardiano and Srivastava, 1993). By using the process-based simulation model as training image (TI) for MPS simulation, MPS should be able to address the conditioning issue in process-based simulation model.Over the past decade, most research in MPS has emphasized on new algorithms for improving efficiency of MPS (Mariethoz and Caers, 2014; Mariethoz and Lefebvre, 2014), but there are still issues remain for the workflow to be widely used in geosciences. Furthermore, using nonstationary TI such as process-based simulation model in MPS are still an issue because the workflow is always different for specific cases. Until recently, little published works are available in applicating nonstationary TI in MPS.The principal objective of this project was to determine an optimised methodology that allows the use of nonstationary process-based simulation model for TI input with MPS simulation in the fluvial-dominated delta. The process-based simulation model used in the study is a post-processed data from numerical model done in process-based modelling software Delft3D (Lesser et al., 2004) which is the PhD work of van der Vegt in 2018. There were two different cases utilised in this study that represents the whole delta development: Case A with high repetition in the patterns and Case B with low repetition in the patterns.In order to achieve the desired outcome, this study links process-based simulation model with MPS using unconditional and conditional 2D MPS simulation with two different approaches: zonation approach and control map approach. The realisations from the unconditional simulation have to be validated until successful unconditional MPS simulation. The conditional MPS simulation were carried out when the unconditional realisations have been acknowledged as the approved results in mimicking the patterns of the Delft3D model. Lastly, the results were evaluated with four methods: connectivity function, E-type models, conditional variance models, and analysis of distance (ANODI).In all of the MPS simulation results, the use of control map approach with unilateral simulation path proved to deliver better realisations for unconditional and conditional MPS simulations. Also, this study has presented an optimised workflow of 2D MPS simulation on using process-based simulation model in fluvial-dominated delta environment as TI based on different conditions of patterns’ repetition and hard data distribution.Petroleum Engineering and Geo-science

    Isolasi dan Identifikasi Bakteri Selulolitik dari Saliva Hewan Arctictis binturong.

    Bakteri terdapat hampir di seluruh tempat di bumi, termasuk di tubuh hewan. Hewan yang saat ini mulai mendapat perhatian adalah Arctictis binturong karena perannya dalam menghasilkan kopi fermentasi khas Kabupaten Luwu, Sulawesi Selatan. Isolat bakteri pada saliva A. binturong diketahui memproduksi enzim ekstraselular selulase, namun spesies bakteri yang memproduksinya belum diketahui sehingga perlu dilakukan isolasi dan identifikasi bakteri selulolitik dari saliva A. binturong. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengisolasi dan mengidentifikasi bakteri saliva A. binturong secara molekuler. Identifikasi bakteri dilakukan melalui tahapan isolasi bakteri, seleksi isolat bakteri selulolitik, isolasi DNA, amplifikasi fragmen gen 16S rRNA, dan identifikasi genotip. Sebanyak 8 isolat berhasil diisolasi. Seleksi kemampuan selulolitik menyatakan semua isolat memiliki kemampuan selulolitik dengan indeks selulolitik tertinggi pada isolat SB02 dan SB05 masing-masing sebesar 3.26 dan 3.30. Hasil identifikasi 16S rRNA bakteri selulolitik menyatakan bahwa isolat SB02 memiliki kemiripan sebesar 77% dengan Bacillus cereus L77 dan isolat SB05 memiliki kemiripan sebesar 72% dengan Bacillus subtilis GL2 dan kedua isolat merupakan spesies baru

It was located at Tirto Agung Street, No. 12A, sub-district of Pedalangan, district of Banyumanik, Semarang of Central-Java. UrbanCut Barbershop was built to answer the need of modern man in Semarang area that need of a good representative haircut place with hygiene process and cozy place. UrbanCut Barbershop is a growing business and has big opportunity to success due to it has become pioneer in premium barbershop service in Semarang area. It showed by the number of customers that have been served and that increasing sales from its beginning they are opened until now. But, new problem start to come and the competition begin tougher. UrbanCut Barbershop sales performance basically is good and profitable enough for its owner. But owner feels that there have been a condition of sales revenue of UrbanCut after 8 months operation become stable or can be said it come to its optimum point. This phenomenon was discovered after UrbanCut Barbershop opened their second branch located in central business of Semarang area. Owner feels that this condition showed there are problem with UrbanCut Barbershop growing progress. The owner worry if the trend of sales in second branch becoming like the first store that reach its optimum point and don’t grow anymore. Therefore, owner should initiate better strategy to keep increase sales growth and strategy for competes in Semarang Barbershop business. So, the focus of this research is to give UrbanCut Barbershop business strategy to solve their problem. First, author should determine what Urbancut Barbeshop business condition is and what about other external environment that affect their business. Second, author should give further strategy for UrbanCut Barbershop to win the business competition.     Abstract – In 2016, Asean Economic Community (AEC) will effectively begin. The purpose of this international collaboration is to enforce economic power in South-East Asia region to become single market and production base. However with policies that may apply according to AEC agreements, there will be challenges for each country in South East Asia region especially because of the tighter competition that might occur. The purpose of this research is to see the readiness of national company to compete in Asean level and to give recommendations to company’s future improvement.. Author chooses PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk. as the object of this research because they have statement in their vision to become the leading company in South East Asia. Moreover, PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk is a company that involved in the industry of construction, one of the most strategically critical industries in developing country like Indonesia. To assess the readiness of PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk., author use analysis of financial ratios to determine the current financial performance of the company. In addition, author also use BUMN framework scoring to get more information about company financial performance. As a benchmark, 3 companies in Indonesia and 3 companies from foreign country in Asean region. The analysis shown that PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk. have many rooms to improve in their current financial performance. The company needs to increase their efficiency. Currently they need averagely 65 days to collect their receivables, which is considerably too long. The company also has to utilize their asset more efficiently since the findings shown that their significant increase in asset did not followed by high increase on sales. For leverage, PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk could increase their debt to increase their financial leverage. Kegiatan magang dilaksanakan selain karena dapat memberikan manfaat bagi mahasiswa dalam pemenuhan studi kegiatan magang juga merupakan pengaplikasian ilmu yang telah diperoleh selama di bangku perkuliahan dan bagaimana penerapannya di dunia kerja. Melalui kegiatan magang ini diharapkan adanya suatu kecocokan materi yang telah dipelajari mahasiswa di bangku kuliah dengan pelaksanaan kegiatan sesungguhnya di dunia kerja. Magang bertujuan untuk melatih mahasiswa agar terbiasa dengan lingkungan kerja, sehingga dari Magang tersebut mahasiswa dilatih cara kerja yang baik dan benar. Wahju Wibowo,S,Sos.,M.Psi.,M.Mar Pembimbing II: Wahyu Anggrahini.S.Si.,M.T LPG/C Cipta Diamond merupakan salah satu jenis kapal fully pressrurized yang membawa muatan LPG MIX yang mana didesain dengan tangki tipe C untuk tekanan kerja kurang dari 5-7 bar. Pada saat proses memuat memperhatikan kondisi tekanan dan suhu pada tangki sangat diperlukan dikarenakan kenaikan temperatur berlebih saat proses memuat dapat menjadi faktor penghambat pelaksanaan pemuatan, sehingga diperlukan penanganan khusus dari crew deck yang bertugas dalam penanganan muatan guna menghindari terjadinya bahaya seperti ledakan yang disebabkan dari terlepasnya relieve valve, terjadinya pencemaran polusi, serta ancaman keselamatan jiwa di kapal. Terdapat rumusan masalah penelitian meliputi faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya high pressure tank pada saat loading dan upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi high pressure tank pada saat loading. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif yang dijelaskan secara deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian diperoleh melalui data primer dan data sekunder, yang dimana didapatkan data dari Kapal LPG/C Cipta Diamond melalui observasi secara langsung di atas kapal, wawancara dengan Chief Officer & Bosun juga didukung dengan studi pustaka selama penelitian di LPG/C Cipta Diamond. Faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya high pressure tank pada saat loading di kapal LPG/C Cipta Diamond adalah karena faktor cuaca di sekitar kapal yang panas dan proses pemuatan yang terlalu cepat. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi high pressure tank pada saat loading di kapal LPG/C Cipta Diamond adalah dengan menerapkan cara cooling tank dan sirkulasi vapour menggunakan compressor. Serta menerapkan loading plan sehingga nantinya tidak terjadi kekeliruan dan dengan cepat melaporkan kepada perwira jaga yang memiliki tanggung jawab bilamana terjadi permasalahan di cargo tank
