    Mentakhrij kitab al-Mabaadiy al-Fiqhiyah

    Sebagai salah satu missal adalah kitab karangan Umar Abdu al-Jabbar “al-Mabaadiy al-Fiqhiyah”. Kitab tersebut dalam mengemukakan dasar pengambilan hadits tidak menyebutkan rangkaian sanad awal hingga akhir. Maka tidaklah salah jika banyak orang yang berkomentar bahwa hadits-hadits yang ada dalam kitabmahbadi tersebut bernilai palsu (maudlu’i). Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah; 1. Benarkah hadits yang ada dalam bab tersebut (dalam al-Mabaadiy al-Fiqhiyah) mempunyai sanad. 2. Apakah sanad-sanad tersebut terdewankan atau tidak terdewankan. 3. Apakah periwayatan yang dipakai dengan menggunakan sistem bil makna ataukah dengan bil lafdzi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode takhrij billafdzi (penelusuran haits-hadits dengan lafadz) dan metode takhrij bil makna (penelusuran hadits dengan melalui topic masalah). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah; 1. Hadits-hadits yang ada pada kitab Mahbadi al-Fiqhiyah tersebut mempunyai sanad. 2, sanad-sanad yang ada pada kitab Mahbadi al Fiqhiyah tersebut semuanya terdewankan. Misalnya; pada Sunan Abu Dawud, at-Turmudzi, an-Nasa’I, Ibnu Majah, Kuslim, ad-Darimi dan sebagainya. 3. Periwayatan yang dipergunakan hampir semuanya dengan meriwayatkan sistim lafadz (billafdzi)

    Pemodelan Inversi Data Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) Menggunakan Hybrid Differensial Evolution Flower Pollination Algorithm (HDEFPA)

    Geoelectric Resistivity is a geophysical method for mapping subsurface resistivity. Vertical Electrical Sounding (VES) is often used because of its ease in providing information on vertical lithological distribution. Modeling inversion of VES data is a complex challenge due to the non-linear relationship between data and model parameters. This research uses the Hybrid Differential Evolution Flower Pollination Algorithm (HDEFPA) as a global optimization method to overcome this problem. HDEFPA combines Flower Pollination (FPA) and Differential Evolution (DE) algorithms, which have both global and local search capabilities. Tests were carried out with synthetic VES data on two-layer, three-layer (K-type and H-type), and four-layer earth models. In addition, field data from seawater intrusion in Pelauw, Maluku, Indonesia were used. The results show that HDEFPA is superior to FPA and single DE in fast convergence and fewer iterations. The HDEFPA algorithm successfully validates field data, producing reliable and accurate results. This research provides insight into the advantages of global optimization methods over local inversion methods in inversion modeling of VES data

    Aplikasi Metoda Geolistrik dan Geomagnet dalam Analisis dan Pemetaan Potensi Mineralisasi Zona Timah Primer di Daerah AM

    Timah merupakan logam putih keperakan dengan kekerasan dan kekuatan yang rendah dengan konduktivitas termal dan listrik yang tinggi. Timah primer merupakan salah satu endapan timah yang terdapat pada batuan granit dan metasediment yang berasosiasi dengan urat kuarsa. Keberadaan timah primer dapat diidentifikasi dengan metoda geofisika seperti metoda geolistrik (tahanan jenis dan polarisasi terimbas/IP) dan geomagnet dengan mengukur parameter-parameter khas yang ditafsirkan. Metoda tahanan jenis mengukur besar nilai resistivitas material di bawah permukaan dari beda potensial terukur, sementara metoda IP memanfaatkan efek peluruhan potensial untuk mengukur sifat parameter chargeabilitas, dan metoda geomagnet didasarkan pada pengukuran anomali magnet bumi berdasarkan perubahan medan magnet yang terukur yang dikenal sebagai suseptibilitas. Hasil analisis kedua metoda ini direkonstruksikan suatu model bawah permukaan 2D serta pemetaan keberadaan zona mineralisasi timah primer. Pada lintasan D model yang dihasilkan dari dua penampang tersebut memperlihatkan 2 nilai anomali chargeabilitas dan resistivitas tinggi yang dikaji dengan adanya intrusi batuan granit berperan dalam proses pembentukan endapan timah primer. Penampang 2D geomagnet dari hasil slicing memperlihat pula adanya kehadiran batuan meta batupasir/kuarsit sebagai produk dari intrusi batuan granit, yang diduga memotong melewati lintasan D

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed.     Analisis Sebaran Panasbumi Menggunakan Metode Geolistrik Resistivitas di Daerah Panasbumi "S", Provinsi Sumatra Barat

    Provinsi Sumatra Barat merupakan wilayah yang memiliki potensi panasbumi sebesar 1.6 GWe, dan tersebar di 16 titik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan metode resistivitas dalam mengkaji daerah panasbumi “S” dan diolah dengan teknik inverse damped-least square. Metode ini dapat memetakan lapisan bawah permukaan secara optimal melalui sifat kelistrikan pada lapisan batuan tersebut dan dapat memperkecil RMS error yang dihasilkan dari proses pemodelan data. Metode inversi tersebut diuji dengan metode inversi melalui IP2WIN. Hasil inverse damped-least square memberikan 5 sampai 6 lapisan bawah permukaan yang sama dengan hasil inversi menggunakan IP2WIN. RMS error dari inverse damped-least square pada setiap titik berada pada rentang 0.8 – 2.63, sehingga hasil inversi cukup akurat dan valid. Model penampang 2D dibuat dan tersusun atas top soil, andesit piroksen, batupasir, batulempung dan lapisan penudung berupa batulempung. Sebaran panasbumi diinterpretasi seluas 7.8 km² berada pada area resistivitas rendah yang memanjang dari manifestasi Air Panas Takis, Air Panas Sungai Limau, dan Air Panas Padangbaru

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods
