Deep introspective SLAM: deep reinforcement learning based approach to avoid tracking failure in visual SLAM
Reliable and consistent tracking is essential to realize the dream of power-on-and-go autonomy in mobile robots. Our investigation with state-of-the-art visual navigation and mapping tools (e.g. ORB-SLAM) reveals that these tools suffer from frequent and unexpected tracking failures, especially when tested in the wild. This hinders the ability of robots to reach a goal position less than 10 meters away, without tracking failure, thereby limiting the prospects of real autonomy. We present an introspection-based approach (Introspective-SLAM) that enables SLAM to evaluate safety of navigation steps with respect to tracking failure, before the steps are actually taken. Navigation steps that appear unsafe are thereby avoided, and an alternative path to the goal is planned. We propose a novel deep reinforcement learning (DQN) based network to evaluate safety of future navigation steps using a single image only. Surprisingly, training of our DQN completes in a short amount of time (< 60 h). Even then, this network outperforms several handcrafted and Q-learning based pipelines to achieve state-of-the-art performance. Interestingly, training the DQN in realistic simulators (MINOS), consisting of reconstructed interiors, shows good generalization across real world indoor-outdoor settings. Finally, extensive testing of visual SLAM, equipped with our DQN, shows that tracking failures occur frequently and are a major hindrance in reaching the goal. Currently, there is no standard benchmark to evaluate active visual SLAM approaches. We have released a benchmark of 50 episodes with this work. We hope these findings/benchmark will encourage progress for power-on-and-go visual SLAM without any manual supervision.
Response Time Effekter på kvalitet Security Experience
The recent decade has witnessed an enormous development in internet technology worldwide. Initially internet was designed for applications such as Electronic Mail and File Transfer. With technology evolving and becoming popular, people use internet for e-banking, e-shopping, social networking, e-gaming, voice and a lot of other applications. Most of the internet traffic is generated by activities of end users, when they request a specific webpage or web based application. The high demand for internet applications has driven service operators to provide reliable services to the end user and user satisfaction has now become a major challenge. Quality of Service is a measure of the performance of a particular service. Quality of Experience is a subjective measure of user’s perception of the overall performance of network. The high demand for internet usage in everyday life has got people concerned about security of information over web pages that require authentication. User perceived Quality of Security Experience depends on Quality of Experience and Response Time for web page authentication. Different factors such as jitter, packet loss, delay, network speed, supply chains and the type of security algorithm play a vital role in the response time for authentication. In this work we have tried to do qualitative and quantitative analysis of user perceived security and Quality of Experience with increasing and decreasing Response Times towards a web page authentication. We have tried to derive a relationship between Quality of Experience of security and Response Time.Phone Numbers: (1) Wajahat Ali (+923349783252) (2) Asad Muhammad (+923455172792
The Complete Muhammad Ali
Including material and photographs not included in most of the 100 other books about the champion, Ishmael Reed's The Complete Muhammad Ali is more than just a biography-it is a fascinating portrait of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st. An honest, balanced portrayal of Ali, the book includes voices that have been omitted from other books. It charts Ali's evolution from Black Nationalism to a universalism, but does not discount the Nation of Islam and Black Nationalism's important influence on his intellectual development. Filipino American author Emil Guillermo speaks about how "The Thrilla' In Manila" brought the Philippines into the 20th century. Fans of Muhammad Ali, boxing fans, and those interested in modern African American history and the Nation of Islam will be fascinated by this biography by an accomplished American author.Intro -- DEDICATION -- INTRODUCTION -- The Curious History of an Icon -- CHAPTER 1 -- CHAPTER 2 -- CHAPTER 3 -- CHAPTER 4 -- CHAPTER 5 -- CHAPTER 6 -- CHAPTER 7 -- Did the Secret Government Fear a U.S. Muslim/Overseas Muslim Alliance? -- CHAPTER 8 -- CHAPTER 9 -- The Break Between the Prophet and his Disciple -- CHAPTER 10 -- CHAPTER 11 -- CHAPTER 12 -- The GOAT (Greatest Of All Time): Ali or Louis? -- CHAPTER 13 -- The Nation of Islam, the Mob, Showdowns in Canada and Sonny Liston -- CHAPTER 14 -- CHAPTER 15 -- The Taunts: Marketing or Racism? -- CHAPTER 16 -- CHAPTER 17 -- CHAPTER 18 -- CHAPTER 19 -- Boxing and the Brain -- CHAPTER 20 -- Ali's Feet -- CHAPTER 21 -- Mr. Dick -- CHAPTER 22 -- CHAPTER 23 -- The Opening Ceremonies, November 2005 -- CHAPTER 24 -- December 2005, Las Vegas -- CHAPTER 25 -- CHAPTER 26 -- June 16, 2004 -- CHAPTER 27 -- CHAPTER 28 -- CHAPTER 29 -- Aix-en-Provence -- CHAPTER 30 -- Ali as a Black Nationalist -- San Francisco, January 2004 Black Liberation Book Fair -- CHAPTER 31 -- January 31, 2004 -- CHAPTER 32 -- October 2005, Chicago -- CHAPTER 33 -- Why Ali remained with Elijah instead of following Malcolm -- CHAPTER 34 -- CHAPTER 35 -- February 4, 2006, Oakland, California -- CHAPTER 36 -- Like Zeus Descending from Mount Olympus -- CHAPTER 37 -- CHAPTER 38 -- Tuesday, February 28, 2006, New York -- CHAPTER 39 -- Bigger Than Boxing -- CHAPTER 40 -- Tribes Gallery, New York, April 2006 -- CHAPTER 41 -- June 2006, Louisville, Kentucky -- CHAPTER 42 -- CHAPTER 43 -- CHAPTER 45 -- Bad Company -- CHAPTER 46 -- Coxson, A Very Charming Rogue -- CHAPTER 47 -- Ali and the largest embezzlement scheme in Wells Fargo history -- CHAPTER 48 -- CHAPTER 49 -- "Lonnie is a stabilizing force."-Harry Belafonte -- October 29, 2006 -- CHAPTER 50 -- Abdul Rahman -- CHAPTER 51 -- CHAPTER 52 -- CHAPTER 53How Will Ali Be Remembered? Comparative analysis of different predictive analytics models in predicting cyberbullying
The emergence of social media, especially X, has led to misunderstandings about freedom of speech, resulting in issues like cyberbullying. This study investigates cyberbullying's effects by comparing machine learning algorithms based on accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score. It also assesses how sentiment analysis and Psychosocial Safety Climate (PSC) principles can improve model efficiency.Utilizing PSC theory, which promotes prosocial behavior to prevent bullying, the study merges technological solutions with human behavior insights for online safety. Analyzing 2,000 tweets using TextBlob for sentiment analysis, features are extracted through TF-IDF vectorization, and models are trained using Multinomial Naive Bayes, Random Forests, XGBoost, and Support Vector Machines (SVM). These models are evaluated using 5-fold cross-validation, with hyperparameters fine-tuned by GridSearchCV.Results show that Random Forest and XGBoost achieved the highest scores, 0.761 and 0.740, respectively. Multinomial Naive Bayes demonstrated exceptional computational efficiency, making it suitable for real time applications. Sentiment analysis improved detection by emphasizing emotional context, and PSC principles enhanced model effectiveness by incorporating features like "number_negative_words" and "number_positive_words."The research underscores the combination of machine learning and psychosocial theory in detecting cyberbullying. It recommends choosing models based on application needs: Random Forest for a balance between performance and interpretability, XGBoost for high accuracy, and Multinomial Naive Bayes for efficiency. Future research should expand datasets, address privacy concerns, and incorporate features like social network analysis to enhance practicality and improve online safety by involving administrators and moderators.submitted by Muhammad Wajahat, AmjadEnthält Literaturverzeichnis auf Seite 78-98Die letzten 2 Seiten sind ohne TextMasterarbeit Paris Lodron University of Salzburg, Austria 2024Masterarbeit Aalborg University in Copenhagen, Denmark 202
