    Optimization is a process to maximize or minimize a particular problem in order to obtain optimal conditions.The optimization problem has various model functions. There are linear, non-linear, multi modal, multiobjektif andothers. In everyday reality there are many muliobjective problems, in which there is more than one model function thatmust be executed simultaneously in a multi-objective model to optimize one function again. This results in difficulties inoptimizing it. In this research, metaheuristic method is used to solve multiobjective problems. This method is easy to useand does not require information of the model to be optimized. One metaheuristic method is the Bat (BA) Algorithm. Inthis study BA, will be in hybrids using the method of Differential Evolution (DE) that has long existed in finding theoptimal solution. Both of these algorithms are combined with local search (Levy Flight Trajectory) in BA with DE.Thus, hybrids from BA and DE will be tested to complete multi-purpose test functions

    Politeknik Negeri Tanah Laut in order to improve the new student admission, has adopted numerous type of promotion strategies. The strategies are among others high school visits, banner displays, brochure distribution, and promotions via social media. However, those strategies adopted by Politeknik Negeri Tanah Laut are admittedly costly. Application of Selecting Promotion Strategy Enrollment of New Students in the Politeknik Negeri Tanah Laut is an application used to help determine what kind of promotional strategy is likely to be more accurate and more planned as the guidance as well as the reference in order to increase the enrollment percentage of new students. The determination of such promotional media’s outcomes is supported by applying the method of K-Means Clustering to do the classification of promotional media data obtained from the result of students’ questionnaires.     Waste is the result of the dynamics of life that can cause problems if it is not properly managed.  Many methods had been used to help overcome waste management. The Waste Bank is one of the solutions to help solve waste management. Bank Sampah Panggung Berseri is one of the communities that actively carries out waste management around the Pangung village. BSPB has problems related to solid waste management. The management in question is the management of waste data that is still conventional, archiving is not optimal, has not managed customer data savings properly. In this research also added a marketplace feature where people can make transactions from balances obtained from waste sold by buying basic necessities. The method in this research is to collect data at BSPB, analyze data and develop applications using the prototype method. The results of this study are all the features or functions of the system run well by testing the functionality used the Black Box testing method. In testing using the usability testing method has shown the level of satisfaction for the parameters of usability, ease of learning, ease of use and satisfaction gives an average value of 4.38 from the range of values ​​1-5. This shows that the system made can be said to satisfy BSPB users and customers.   Sampah merupakan hasil dari proses dinamika kehidupan yang dapat menimbulkan permasalahan apabila tidak benar dalam pengelolaannya. Berbagai macam metode telah dilakukan dalam membantu mengatasi pengelolaan sampah. Bank Sampah merupakan salah satu solusi dalam membantu menyelesaikan pengelolaan sampah. Bank Sampah Panggung Berseri (BSPB) merupakan salah satu komunitas masyarakat yang aktif melakukan pengelolaan sampah di sekitar Desa Panggung. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh BSPB yaitu manajemen pengelolaan sampah yang belum maksimal. Manajemen yang dimaksud adalah pengelolan data sampah yang masih konvensional, pengarsipan yang belum optimal, belum terkelolanya data tabungan nasabah dengan baik. Pada penelitian ini juga ditambahkan sebuah fitur marketplace yang mana masyarakat dapat melakukan transaksi dari saldo yang didapatkan dari sampah terjual dengan membeli kebutuhan pokok. Metode pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan melakukan pengumpulan data di BSPB, analisis data dan mengembangkan aplikasi dengan menggunakan metode prototype. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu semua fitur atau fungsi dari sistem telah berjalan dengan baik dengan dilakukan pengujian fungsionalitas menggunakan metode pengujian black box. Pada pengujian dengan menggunakan metode usability testing menunjukan tingkat kepuasan parameter kegunaan, kemudahan dalam pembelanjaan, kemudahan dalam penggunaan dan kepuasan memberikan nilai rata-rata 4,38 dari range nilai 1-5. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa sistem yang dibuat dapat dikatakan memuaskan petugas dan nasabah BSPB

    Internal quality audits are conducted within the internal quality assurance system (SPMI) of higher education institutions to ensure compliance with SPMI standards and enhance a quality culture. Constraints in implementing internal quality audits include limitations in human resources, time, and costs, as well as the complexity of audit stages and documentation of audit findings. To address these challenges, a website-based information system has been designed using the waterfall method and the Unified Modeling Language (UML) approach, utilizing the PHP framework CodeIgniter and a MySQL database. The system aims to digitize and automate the implementation of internal quality audits to enhance effectiveness and efficiency. Additionally, it facilitates the management and storage of internal quality audit documents. For testing purposes, black-box testing is employed, consisting of 10 different test types.     Current technological developments can be done to facilitate work. One of them can be applied to support management information system that focus on management TK Mekar Sari. The problems that exist in the process of acceptance of new students are still conventional (manual) and the class division process is still shared conventionally (manually) using Microsoft Excel. So it can take much time for class and student division in each semester. Based on the problem, the system is called "Kindergarten Management Information System (case study: Kindergarten (TK) Mekar Sari village Ambawang)". The system is built using the PHP programming language with a native framework. While the database development uses MySQL that works for the database server. Design of the display interface that author builds are created using Adobe XD CC 2019. As well as the draft database using Entity Relationship Diagram, Data Flow Diagram and Flowchart.     Modified Particle Swarm Optimization on Feature Selection for Palm Leaf Disease Classification

    Palm oil plantations in Indonesia face challenges in enhancing productivity and profitability, notably due to pest attacks that reduce production. Early identification and classification of plant conditions, particularly palm oil leaves, are crucial for mitigating losses. This study explores the application of artificial intelligence, specifically computer vision and machine learning, for disease detection. Various machine learning techniques, including Local Binary Pattern (LBP), K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), and Support Vector Machine (SVM), have been used in different studies with varying accuracy. This research focuses on modifying Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) for feature selection in identifying diseases in palm oil leaves. The PSO modification combined with logistic regression and Bayesian Information Criterion (BIC) significantly enhances KNN performance. Accuracy improved from 95.75% to 97.85%, while precision, recall, and F1-score reached approximately 98.80%. Additionally, the modified KNN+PSO achieved the shortest computation time of 0.0872 seconds, indicating high computational efficiency. These results demonstrate that the PSO modification not only improves accuracy but also computational efficiency, making it an effective method for enhancing KNN performance in detecting palm oil leaf diseases

    Sistem Informasi Tempat Mitra Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) Berbasis Web (Studi Kasus: Politeknik Negeri Tanah Laut) merupakan suatu sistem yang menyajikan informasi terkait perusahaan yang menjadi wadah untuk pelaksanaan PKL mahasiswa Politeknik Negeri Tanah Laut. Pada prosedur pelaksanaan PKL yang berjalan selama ini, mahasiswa harus mencari informasi perusahaan berdasarkan hasil pengisian kuesioner sebelumnya atau langsung menuju ke lapangan untuk membandingkan antar perusahaan, sehingga memakan banyak waktu. Permasalahan yang terdapat pada prosedur ini yaitu kurangnya informasi tentang perusahaan, pengisian kuesioner masih manual, dan hasil kuesioner PKL yang disimpan dalam bentuk excel sehingga penyimpanan kurang aman. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut penulis merancang suatu sistem yang menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan pembangunan basis data MySQL. Sistem ini dapat membantu mahasiswa untuk menemukan informasi lebih detail perusahaan yang dituju, pengisian kuesioner dan penyimpanan data kuesioner lebih efisien.     Prediction Of Student Graduation Using The K-Nearest Neighbor Method Case Study in Politeknik Negeri Tanah Laut

    Tanah Laut State Polytechnic as one of the universities in Indonesia has definitely paid attention to the quality of its students. One way is to predict student graduation. Graduation predictions can help study programs and academic supervisors review and pay special attention to students, especially students who are predicted to not graduate on time. Realizing one way to pay attention to the quality of students can be realized by creating a Student Graduation Prediction system using the Web-Based K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) Method. The K-Nearest Neighbors method is an object classification method based on training data by finding the nearest neighbor value to determine the class of the new data. In the Student Graduation Prediction using the K-Nearest Neighbor Method, there is a section that can process training data, test data, the process of calculating student graduation predictions, and displaying the results obtained from the KNN calculation which has two classification classes, namely graduated and not passed. Based on the results of the study, it was found that KNN with different k values obtained different levels of accuracy, data testing with a value of k=1 obtained an accuracy rate of 83.33%, the value of k=2 obtained an accuracy rate of 79.17%, the value of k=3 to k= 8 obtained an accuracy rate of 95.83%, and the values of k=9 and k=10 obtained an accuracy rate of 91.67%. It can be concluded that the test with a value of k=3 to k=8 obtained the best or highest level of accuracy

    Internship is part of achieving the competencies expected in the educational process. Therefore, the suitability of students to companies that serve as a place for street vendors is something important to pay attention to. Weaknesses in the previous system, there are still many students who are not right in choosing companies/agencies. They are still not paying attention to the competencies expected in this internship process. This study aims to help group industrial partners according to the competency achievements of each department. The method used in this research is Modified K-Means Clustering in the grouping process. While the criteria used are the suitability of the company's field with the department, credibility, company ecosystem, company track record in the field of education, and the facilities provided. In carrying out this work, a system will be developed to process the data resulting from the questionnaire so that groups from each company are obtained. The results of the study were obtained from 86 respondents who were apprentices who had been in 37 companies or agencies. 22 questions that build 7 criteria resulted in 4 stable clusters after 8 iterations.Keywords: internship, decision support system, Modified K-Means Clustering
