Creating common epistemic spaces through multimodal stance-taking practices
The chapter, written by Valentyna Ushchyna, stands out in this volume, as it deals rather with real-life online communication than with artistic discourse. The author shows the linguistic ways epistemic stancetaking becomes an integral part of the shared epistemic spaces creation, where the dynamics and ecology of meaning-making presupposes interaction and collaboration. To be more specific, the focus of this study is on the epistemic stancetaking in COVID-19 discourse. Because knowledge concerning COVID-19 is insufficient, epistemic possibilities build upon uncertainty and unpredictability. The study uses objective hermeneutic approach as the methodological framework that allows disclosing of the concealed structures of discourse and enables explanation of the complex processes of social semiosis in post-modern computerized society. Within objective hermeneutic paradigm, analysis of stancetaking presupposes taking into account personal attitudes of individual speakers (stance-takers) along with the domineering social structures framing their discursive actions and interactions

The author analyzes the poetic and prose works of Natalia Zamulko-Dubushe (1948–2020). The Ukrainian emigrant writer, who has lived and worked in France since 1989, is the author of the Ukrainian-language poetry collection Storks of the Native Land (2004), prose books Alien Nation (2012), Rain Border (2018), and others. The aim of the article is to analyze the confessional beginning of Natalia Zamulko-Dubushe’s works. In order to comprehend the weight of the author’s personal experience in the poetic and prose narration, Valentyna Sobol compares the defining motives of the poetic and prose works of the writer. As a result of a comparative reading, the researcher draws a conclusion about the dominance of the autobiographical discourse of the entire creative work of the writer. It is shown how the motives of her poems resonate differently in prose each time. In fact, memory is the driving force in all emigration works. Returning mentally to her Ukrainian roots, the writer at the same time exposed herself as a person of the world. The author analyzes the poetic and prose works of Natalia Zamulko-Dubushe (1948–2020). Abstract
Markers of infectious-inflammatory process were studied by determining the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines - interleukin (IL) 1 and IL-6 and proteins of the acute phase of inflammation - C-reactive protein (CRP) and fibrinogen in the serum of children with community-acquired pneumonia.
It was found that the course of community-acquired pneumonia is accompanied by an increase in serum concentrations of IL-1 and IL-6 in children in parallel with the disease severity. The synthesis of pro-inflammatory cytokines stimulates the production of acute CRP, but reduces the concentration of fibrinogen in the serum of sick children. The revealed connections between the content of the studied cytokines at the systemic level and multidirectional changes in the indicators of the acute phase of inflammation indicate a violation of the liver, where proteins are synthesized in the study.
It is shown that with increasing severity of pneumonia, the enzyme activity of aminotransferases - alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) in the serum of children increases with a simultaneous decrease in the de Ritis coefficient, indicating "hepatic" genesis. High levels of aminotransferase is closely correlated with the activity of the infectious-inflammatory process, as indicated by the positive correlation between the level of IL-1 and ALT (r = 0.047) and AST (r = 0.111). At the same time, there is a negative correlation between the levels of IL-1, CRP and the activity of aminotransferases in blood serum.
Key words: cytokines; C-reactive protein; fibrinogen; alanine aminotransferase; aspartate aminotransferase; liver; community-acquired pneumonia in children; early age
Dynamics of changes in the level of IgA in patients with bronchial asthma against the background of excessive body weight or obesity
Among patients with asthma, a lot of attention is being given to, at the present time, to such comorbidity as excessive body mass (EBM) or obesity. Aim. To evaluate the level of IgA in patients with bronchial asthma against the background of excessive body weight or obesity and to evaluate the effects of drug on the bacterial lysate and inosine pranobex. According to the design, the study was conducted in two stages: the frst stage – examination of 105 patients with asthma. 105 patients with a basic diagnosis of asthma were examined whose average age was 41.19 ± 1.05 years, 75 patients were found to have EBM or obesity (BMI 31.67 ± 0.53) who were included in the main group and 30 patients with NBMI (BMI 22.13 ± 0.32), which were the comparison group. The patients in the main group with a severe course had signifcantly lower serum IgA values than the patients in the comparison group (p<0.05), but the statistically signifcant difference between this index in the patients with a severe course in the main group and the control group was not revealed. The patients in the main group had a signifcant increase in the level of secret IgA against the background of the use of treatment-and-prophylactic complex (TPC) with the inclusion of a preparation of bacterial lysate in combination with inosine pranobex against the background of training in asthma school, receiving the basic treatment (p<0.05). Patients with asthma who have large BMI have a more severe course of bronchial asthma. A Correlation relationship was established in the group of patients with bronchial asthma and with excessive body weight or obesity between the level of sIgA and the severity of the asthma course; there is a direct strong correlation. Patients in the main group had a signifcant increase in the level of sIgA against the background of the use of TPC with the addition of a basic treatment by the preparation of bacterial lysate together with inosine pranobex

The latest opinions regarding the vaccination of children with type 1 diabetes
Introduction. Type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) is the most common endocrine disease of
childhood. Every year, the number of patients is constantly increasing worldwide. Due to poor
carbohydrate metabolism, patients with type 1 diabetes are more susceptible to infectious
diseases.
Material and methods. A structured search was performed in PubMed and HINARI, using
English search terms: vaccination, type 1 diabetes, children, viral infections, bacterial infections.
Results. Practitioners and scientists should encourage children with type 1 diabetes and
their parents to get vaccinated. However, it should be remembered that due to metabolic
changes in people living with type 1 diabetes, the immune response to vaccination may be
insufficient. When analyzing the current data, we did not determine which vaccination regimens and which type of vaccine is more suitable for patients living with type 1 diabetes. At
the beginning of the century, there were myths in the scientific world that vaccinating children with type 1 diabetes is not appropriate, but today we know that this is not right and
that everything must be done the other way around.
Conclusions. Today, our research and scientific studies continue to develop a more rational
approach to vaccinating children and adults living with type 1 diabetes.
Postmodernist vision of the relationship between the author and the hero as an act of transgression
The focus of the author of the article is the solution of the problem of reality in
the literature of postmodernism. We are talking about the subjective nature of the
perception of space by the characters of two stories. The author of the first of them,
“Podmiot”, is the Polish writer and psychologist Olga Tokarczuk. The author of
the second, “The Incredible Story of the «Pocket Oracle»”, is Ukrainian writer and
literary critic Oleksandr Mikhed. The key event in each of the stories is the destruction
of the boundary between literature and reality, between the author and his hero. In the
story by Olga Tokarchuk, the character of the autobiographical novel, like a shadow
from H. K. Andersen’s fairy tale, tries to capture the living space of his creator, to
replace him. In Alexander Mikhed’s story, the real person – the reader – identified
himself so much with the hero of the young writer’s novel that he even went to commit
the murder of the author in order to save a fictional character, believing that in
this way he can protect his own life from the arbitrariness of the one who invented this character. Various motivations for what happens in the stories are offered. The
destruction of the boundary between the fictional and real worlds in both stories may
be a result of reflection of how the authors see the process of artistic creation; it may
be connected with artistic study of the mental state of the characters; the inclusion of
fantastic motifs may be an allusion to the famous works of romantic writers. Mainly
the author of the article connects this process in both stories with the actual problem
of modern philosophy – transgression. It, in turn, is directly related to many questions
that we are trying to find an answer to. In particular, are the boundaries between
fiction and reality so strong, and is there really such a different space (dimension) in
which literary characters are no less real than ourselves
Case study: Dynamics of sunflower seed movement in the vibrating tray of the infrared dryer and its influence on the drying process
Saabunud / Received 03.06.2021 ; Aktsepteeritud / Accepted 21.09.2021 ; Avaldatud veebis / Published online 21.09.2021 ; Vastutav autor / Corresponding author: Valentyna Bandura [email protected] of researches on the study of the material particle movement on the vibrating surface of the container machine intended for seed drying in the infrared field is carried out. Comparison of traditional devices for dehydration of raw materials with energy supply of infrared irradiation is performed. It is shown that current tendencies of the development of heat and mass transfer equipment are connected with the use of electromagnetic generators of infrared energy. The purpose of the work is to study the process of movement of sunflower seeds on a vibrating tray dryer. To achieve this goal, a dynamic scheme of the vibrating tray has been proposed and theoretical and experimental studies of the process of grain movement have been carried out. It has been established that when the speed of drive electric motors increases from 950 to 970 rotations per minute, the speed of vibro-transportation increases as well, but when reaching a certain value of speed, under a further increase in speed, the speed of vibro-transportation decreases. Experimental studies have allowed to specify the design parameters of vibrating trays and select rational parameters of the technological process of drying, namely the oscillation frequency of the vibrating tray, which is f = 100 s–1
Identification of mathematical description of the dynamics of extraction of oil materials in the electric field of high frequency
Saabunud / Received 22.10.2020 ; Aktsepteeritud / Accepted 04.02.2021 ; Avaldatud veebis / Published online 05.02.2021 ; Vastutav autor / Corresponding author: Valentyna Bandura [email protected] of the most important stages of the technological process of extraction of target components from oilseeds is extraction. This stage lasts the longest, and therefore, it generally determines the speed and cost-effectiveness of the whole process. A promising direction for effective organization of the extraction process is involving microwave technologies, the use of ultra-high frequency electromagnetic field (EHF) microwave energy directly in the technological process.
The complex nature of the interaction of the factors that determine the intensity of the extraction process in the microwave field does not allow establishing (create) an exact mathematical model of extraction. We propose a method of parametric identification of the mathematical description of the extraction dynamics. This method allows determining the kinetic coefficients of the process from one experimental experiment on the existing installation. A simplified process mechanism was chosen for the study and a general description of the phenomena of heat and mass transfer in a capillary-porous body was used for the known general description. The parameters of the obtained model were identified according to experimental studies. The thus obtained model of non-stationary processes can be used to optimize the parameters and automate the technical means of extraction of oil materials
