In the article B. Zaitsev’s ‘Gleb’s Journey’ is studied with a special attention to the world of nature. The lyricism of writer-emigrant’s works is emphasized quite widely by Polish and Russian researchers. Zaitsev was named ‘poet in the prose’ on account of the lyric layer of his literary works. The Author of that article on the example ‘Gleb’s Journey’ proves that poetic reflecting world is describing Zaitsev’s spiritual evolution and the nature described by him creates the philosophical, lyrical as well as aesthetic context
Teatrologia В.
As Gleb's Journey is an authobiography, the author of the article explains this term, shows analogies and proves its belonging to an autobiographical genre. The whole novel has a common spirit pervading it. And this spirit comes from a very deep sense of longing so characteristic of Russian religious culture as a whole. That is why this work is very emotional and appeals to the readers. It is very realistic because Zaitsev showed his life road from atheizm to deep and mature belief
Lodgments of expansion of alien animal species: the biota of a key site of anthropochory in Transcarpathia (Ukraine)
The introduced Balkan slug Tandonia kusceri was for the first time recorded in the Transcarpathian region in the west of Ukraine. The slugs were discovered in the autumn of 2018 at the outskirts of Korolevo settlement, Vinogradov district, near the railway depot. Local residents use this site as a dump for construction waste. Until now, only a few occurrences of T. kusceri were known from the south of Ukraine (Odessa and Nikolaev regions, Crimea). The first known specimens of this species were collected in Odessa city in 1902 and subsequently described as Amalia rossica. In total, three species of Tandonia occur in Ukraine, the known localities of which are shown on a map. Tandonia kaleniczenkoi occurs only in the Mountainous Crimea. Tandonia cristata is also sporadically found in the steppe zone of Ukraine, оne finding of this species in the Transcarpathian region near Uzhgorod city was described
Archaeological and technical analysis of Byzantine textile fragments from the site of Zeytinli Bahçe
openIn the following thesis are presented the results of a multidisciplinary investigation into a collection of 26 textile fragments discovered in a mediaeval Christian cemetery at the site of Zeytinli Bahçe, in southeastern Turkey. The aim of this investigation was twofold: to characterize the structural parameters, material composition, and conservation status of these fragments; and further, to situate these artefacts within a broader archaeological, historical context. In pursuance of these aims, the author advanced a suite of analytic techniques: autoptic observation coupled with digital microphotography, for quantitative and qualitative analysis of the fragments; scanning electron microscopy (SEM), to obtain high-resolution imagery of the fragments’ surface morphology; energy-dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDS/EDX), to characterize the elemental composition of the surfaces of the fragments; and finally, radiocarbon dating, to approximate the age of the artefacts. Through the careful application of these techniques, it was determined that the textile fragments are balanced tabbies of variable thread count, composed of z-twisted cotton threads of variable diameter. It was further determined that the fragments are highly deteriorated, with evidence of long-term physical and chemical degradation –– including the presence of possible copper corrosion products.
The present work represents the first comprehensive study of the textile fragments found in the mediaeval layers of Zeytinli Bahçe. It serves further as a demonstration of the value of a multidisciplinary approach –– integrating technical, archaeometric analyses and conventional archaeological methods –– for the study of archaeological textiles
Zastosowanie analizy snu według psychologii analitycznej Karola Gustawa Junga jako metody psychoterapeutycznej
The aim of the paper is a short summary the theory of Carl Gustav Jung related to dream analysis as it can be used in practice in psychotherapeutic work with patients.
Besides the original thesis of this author, some views of his more contemporary successors are also used.
Jung thinks about psyche as a wholeness which is organized to realize the goal of full human development (called by him the process of individuation). The conscious and unconscious part of psyche complement each other. So the unconsciousness is (or at least can be) constructive, creative and active. Jung understood dreams as a way of communication of some important contents from unconsciousness to consciousness. Dreams have three main functions: regulating, therapeutic (compensation) and integrating (progressive).
The first stage of work relates to free associations to every element of a dream. Then an active imagination is supposed to be used. The last stage is called amplification – it is trying to put the experience of an individual into more universal frames. Jung discovered that a dream is constructed similarly to the classic Greek drama with its typical stages.
The author analyzes the tales on 1812 campaign against Napoleon written by an almost unknown Russian popular writer, Fedot Kuzmicev. Kuzmicev took part to the campaign against Napoleon as a serf of Countess Golicyna. After he came back from France, he wrote several long tales (fictional works with autobiographical elements)which enjoyed success among the Russian popular readers in 30's and 40's of the Nineteenth Century
The aim of this article is to present an analysis of the poems "The land transfigures me, "My ciy” and "Corn prayer” by Cora Coralina, in order to understand how the author portrays in her works the relationship between human beings and nature, especially in the context of the Goiás Cerrado. The study reveals that Coralina demonstrates a poetic sensitivity in portraying the relationship between humans and the natural and cultural environments. The author invites us to reflect on our own relationship with the environment and to value the simple and authentic experiences that shape our identity, thus enabling the use of her poems as tools for promoting Environmental Education for students.O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar a análise dos poemas "A gleba me transfigura", "Minha cidade" e "Oração do milho", de Cora Coralina, para compreender como a autora retrata em suas obras a relação do ser humano com a natureza, especialmente no contexto do Cerrado goiano.
Analiza przypadków Zykowa, Samygina i Glinki
The paper examines the fates of three Soviet collaborationists: Mileti Zykov, one of the ideologists of General Andrei Vlasov’s so-called movement, and Mikhail Samygin and Gleb Glinka – the creators of Vlasov’s media. The author analyzes their publications, trying to determine their ideologies and approach towards Vlasov’s movement and Nazi Germany, as well as to point out the differences between their views, which he further explains as the consequence of dissimilar social backgrounds, differing experiences of Soviet life, disparate psychological types of personality, and the divergent philosophical concepts which influenced them. The impact of the abovementioned factors on the fates of the three collaborationists is also considered. Podjął próbę wyjaśnienia tych różnic na podstawie pochodzenia społecznego, różnych doświadczeń związanych z życiem w Związku Sowieckim, psychologicznie odmiennych typów osobowości i idei filozoficznych Zykowa, Samygina i Glinki.
New sporocarpic taxa in the phylum Glomeromycota : Sclerocarpum amazonicum gen. et sp. nov. in the family Glomeraceae (Glomerales) and Diversispora sporocarpia sp. nov. in the Diversisporaceae (Diversisporales)
Of the nearly 300 species of the phylum Glomeromycota comprising arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF), only 24 were originally described to form glomoid spores in unorganized sporocarps with a peridium and a gleba, in which the spores are distributed randomly. However, the natural (molecular) phylogeny of most of these species remains unknown. We found unorganized sporocarps of two fungi-producing glomoid spores: one in the Amazonian forest in Brazil (tropical forest) and the second in a forest of Poland (temperate forest). The unique spore morphology of the two fungi suggested that they are undescribed species. Subsequent phylogenetic analyses of sequences of the small subunit–internal transcribed spacer–large subunit nrDNA region and the RPB1 gene confirmed this assumption and placed the Brazilian fungus in a separate clade at the rank of genus, very strongly divergent from its sister clade representing the genus Glomus sensu stricto in the family Glomeraceae (order Glomerales). The Polish fungus was accommodated in a sister clade to a clade grouping sequences of Diversispora epigaea, a fungus that also occasionally produces spores in sporocarps, belonging in the Diversisporaceae (Diversisporales). Consequently, the Brazilian fungus was here described as the new genus and new species Sclerocarpum gen. nov. and S. amazonicum sp. nov., respectively. The Polish fungus was described as D. sporocarpia sp. nov. In addition, the supposed reasons for the low representation of sporocarpic species in the Glomeromycota were discussed and the known distribution of sporocarp-producing Glomeromycota was outlined. © 2019, The Author(s)
