    Academic guidance is one of the success factors for students in completing their studies well and on time. The aim of this research is to find out what problems are faced by the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten regarding academic supervision, as well as to synthesize solutions to reinstate the role of academic supervisors. This research uses qualitative research methods, field research. The data collection methods used are interview and documentation methods. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman analysis model. The results of the research show that the problems faced by Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten are students who are less active, lack of communication between academic supervisors and students, lecturers who are difficult to find, not yet well programmed, lack of student initiative in raising problems and lecturer initiative in asking about developments. student.     Molecular Docking of Citrus amblycarpa Active Compounds against FTO, Leptin, and Resistin Protein

    Background: Citrus amblycarpa has been known to have various pharmacological activities, such as antioxidants, anticancer, antitumor, hepatoprotective, anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic, antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal. Hesperidin, naringin, quercetin, rutin, gamma (γ)-aminobutyric acid (GABA), neoeriocitrin, and poncirin from C. amblycarpa were the major constituents that potentially act on some obesity proteins, such as fat mass and obesity-associated (FTO) protein, leptin, and resistin, the emerging targets in the treatment of obesity. This study aimed to investigate the interaction between major active compounds of C. amblycarpa with FTO, leptin and resistin.Materials and methods: The ligands of the docking study were seven major chemical compounds found in peel of C. amblycarpa, i.e., hesperidin, naringin, quercetin, rutin, GABA, neoeriocitrin, and poncirin. FTO, leptin and resistin structure were taken from Protein Data Bank, while the C. amblycarpa compounds were prepared using Open Babel integrated into PyRx 8.0. Molecular docking simulation was performed using Autodock Vina integrated into PyRx 8.0. Virtual prediction and visualization of protein–ligand complexes were analyzed and visualized using Discovery Studio.Results: All major compounds of C. amblycarpa peel used in this study did not have hepatotoxicity and AMES toxicity. Hesperidin had the lowest binding affinity score when interacted with FTO, leptin and resistin compared to other compounds. Moreover, GABA had the highest binding affinity score compared to other compounds.Conclusion: Hesperidin may be a candidate obesity protein antagonist and may have potential as a treatment for obesity.Keywords: Citrus amblycarpa, molecular docking, FTO, leptin, obesity, resisti

    Anti-inflammatory potential of Curcuma heyneana: An in vitro and in silico investigation

    Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a progressive and chronic systemic autoimmune disease. However, currently treatment is often carried out using NSAIDs and corticosteroids. Although it reduces symptoms, this treatment has a high rate of side effects. This study aims to determine the anti-inflammatory property of Curcuma heyneana so that it can be used as an alternative treatment for RA. Based on author knowledge, this study on C. heyneana from the Indonesian region for the treatment of RA is still limited. C. heyneana’s rhizome was extracted by maceration with ethanol followed by fractionation process using n-hexane, ethyl acetate, and n-butanol. The anti-inflammatory invitro activities were determined by heat-induced hemolysis, effect on protein denaturation, and cyclooxygenases (COX) inhibition assay. Molecular docking of major predictive compounds was performed by AutoDock Vina. The results showed that some fractions of C. heyneana contained terpenoids, flavonoids, and alkaloids. The ethyl acetate fraction exhibited the highest anti-inflammatory activity, which was attributed to the presence of curcuminoids. Molecular docking studies further confirmed the potential of demethoxycurcumin, a curcuminoid identified in the ethyl acetate fraction, to inhibit COX-2. These findings suggest that C. heyneana, particularly its previously unreported curcuminoid-rich fractions, holds promise as a natural anti-inflammatory agent. Further research is warranted to explore the therapeutic potential of this plant in the management of RA and other inflammatory disorders

    Penyakit Tidak Menular (PTM) adalah penyakit yang dianggap tidak dapat ditularkan atau disebarkan dari seseorang terhadap orang lain, sehingga bukan merupakan suatu ancaman bagi orang lain. Penyakit Tidak Menular merupakan beban kesehatan utama di Negara-negara berkembang maupun Negara industri. Berdasarkan laporan WHO mengenai Penyakit Tidak Menular di Asia terdapat lima Penyakit Tidak Menular dengan tingkat kesakitan dan kematian yang sangat tinggi, yaitu penyakit jantung, diabetes mellitus, hipertensi, kanker dan Penyakit Pernafasan obstruksi kronik. Pentingnya pengetahuan mengenai penyakit tidak menular (PTM) dilatarbelakangi dengan kecenderungan semakin meningkatnya populasi penyakit tidak menular dalam masnyarakat khususnya masyarakat Indonesia. Bangsa Indonesia yang sementara membangun dirinya dari suatu Negara yang sebagian besar penduduknya berprofesi sebagai petani yang sedang berkembang menuju masyarakat yang menjalankan aktivitas dan memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya dari hasil teknologi modern membawa kecenderungan baru dalam pola penyakit di masyarakat. Peranan Bidan dalam Pencegahan dan Penanganan Penyakit Tidak Menular Sebagai Upaya Menurunkan Tingkat Komplikasi Pada Ibu dan Janin, peran dari tenaga kesehatan sangat penting untuk mengarahkan ibu beserta keluarganya dalam ikut serta mencegah dan memberantas penyakit tidak menular secara dini. Tujuan Memberikan ilmu pengetahuan baru maupun keterampilan baru bagi calon lulusan tenaga kesehatan atau lulusan kesehatan, Memberikan motivasi para tenaga kesehatan untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas dan kemampuan dalam mempersiapkan diri dalam menghadapi tantangan baru, Menjalin keakraban diantara mahasiswa dari setiap Prodi Politeknik Kesehatan Kementrian Kesehatan Semarang dan berbagai institusi lain
