    No full text
The Indonesia’s teacher’s qualification assessment was administered to more than 600,000 participants in the first of three batches consisting of several days of administration. To amp-up the test security and avoid any threats of cheating and test-stealing that could affect the validity of the results, equivalence forms were developed and an interlaced anchored design with a systematic block of missing responses was implemented. To investigate the effectiveness of the design, a simulation was conducted to study the accuracy of the concurrent calibration estimation under two parameters logistic model of the item response theory. Sample sizes were varied with one thousand replications. Root mean square of difference between the true value and the estimates was computed partition into bias and variance. Positive results were obtained and will be discussed in the light of the implication of the design in real conditions

This main purpose of this study is to validate the structure of creativity test’s internal consistency in the field of architecture. Method of analysis’s done by Many Facet Rasch Model (MFRM) approach using Facet Program. There were 44 High School students of Public, Private, and Vocational School, also 2nd and 8th semester Architecture College students involved as participants. Three person become raters, and assessed the participants, which consist of two academicians (Architecture lecturers) and one professional Architect. Analysis of Facet Program’s indicates the comparison between exact agreements value and expected agreements value is very small. So that it produce a very high reliability coefficient (> 0.8). The result shows that rater’s interpretation is very good that it can provide stable and consistent evaluation. It also indicates the agreement for evaluation’s score given. Rater’s agreement also strengthen the evidence that constructed items are relevant with measuring attributes and represent overall measurable domains.Keyword : Inter Rater Reliability, Creativity, Architectur

    Pengukuran Employee Voice

    No full text
Voice as a form of constructive expression in improving organizational functions and effectiveness has received great attention, especially in studies that explain the antecedents and consequences of employees’ voices. However, studies that explain psychometric properties of employee voice measurements are still limited. This article aimed to examine the psychometric properties, particularly construct validity, of employee voice measurement. In Study 1, three employee voice instruments were found through literature review from 23 articles in the last five years (2013-2018) from EBSCOhost and Proquest databases. In Study 2, based on the results of the literature review, the sound psychometric property test was carried out using confirmatory factor analysis. The results of data analysis prove that the Employee Voice scale of Liang, Farh, and Farh (2012) is an appropriate model for measuring employee voices with good validity and reliability

Cyberslacking in the educational context is defined as using internet in the classrooms for non-academic purpose during lectures. One of student cyberslacking scale was developed by Akbulut, Dursun, Dönmez, & Sahin through researches towards Turkey undergraduate students. This scale consists of items to measure non-academic internet access activities during lectures. Those activities are sharing, shopping, real time updating, accessing online content and gaming/ gambling. This study aims to adopt the Cyberslacking Scale of Akbulut dkk. in the context of undergraduate Indonesian students. Subjects for adopting this scale are 46 male and 156 female undergraduate university students (N=202) with age range between 18-23 years. Second order confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was conducted to analyze this scale. The results showed that dimension of sharing, shopping, real time updating, accesing online content, and gaming/gambling dimension are positively represented cyberslacking construct. Thus the cyberslacking scale can be used in Indonesian educational contex

    No full text
The objectives of this longitudinal study were to predict the tobacco and alcohol use of Indonesian Muslim adolescents from their religiosity and the substance use of friends and network affiliates. At Year 1, there were 996 participants from eighth grade (n = 507, age = 13.4 years) and 10th grade (n = 489, age = 15.4); 875 were followed into the next grade. Friends and network affiliates were respectively identified by mutual selection and social cognitive mapping. Logistic regression analyses revealed that tobacco use was predicted at both Years 1 and 2 by friends’ use, whereas network affiliates’ use predicted individual use with the exception of girls at Year 2. Boys’ alcohol use was uniquely predicted by network affiliates’ but not friends’ use at both years, whereas girls’ use was not predicted by either friends’ or network affiliates’ use. Involvement with boys was associated with girls’ use of alcohol. Although these two types of peer associations may both be important, they may be associated in different ways with tobacco and alcohol use

Adolescent are required to be ready to make career decisions, such as choosing the right college major. Career decision readiness is defined as the capability of an individual to make appropriate career choice while taking into account the complexity of family, social, economic, and organizational factors that influence an individual’s career development. This study aims to find the content validity of measuring career decision readiness based on high school student condition in Indonesia . An expert review process from three lecturers and six educational psychology practitioners was carried out to obtain evidence of validity based on content. The expert review process is divided into three stages, the first stage of reviewing 160 items by three lecturers, the second stage of revising the items, and the third stage of the review process by six educational psychology practitioners. The results of the research showed that 74 items for measuring career decision readiness had an I-CVI value above 0.78 and an S-CVI value of 0.98. Further research needs to be done by testing measuring instruments and collecting data to find other evidence of validity and gathering norms.

Adaptation and Validation of the Mental Health Continuum Long Form (MHC-LF) in Indonesia: A Psychometric Analysis

    No full text
The study aims to adapt and validate the MHC-LF in Indonesia. The sample used was 315 participants (29 client group and 286 general group. Psychometric property analysis was carried out, including item analysis, reliability estimation using test-retest and internal consistency, and collecting validity evidence based on test content, internal structure, and relationships with other variables. The results showed that psychological well-being item number 10 and social well-being number 3 had insignificant loading factor values. MHC-LF reliability is high, with r= 0.85-0.94. This shows that the score produced by the MHC-LF is stable over time, and the items that compose it have internal consistency and are unidimensional. The expert panel judgment provides evidence that all MHC-LF items are relevant to measured aspects. Confirmatory factor analyses confirmed the three-factor model of emotional, psychological, and social well-being. MHC-LF is positively correlated with WEMWBS and negatively correlated with BDI-II. The difference in the mean scores of each subscale and the total significantly differed between the general and client groups. The validity evidence proves that the MHC-LF is a measuring tool that measures subjective well-being. The systematic judgmental scale provides evidence that the measurement tool for the translation results is equivalent to the original version
