EVALUATION OF ON THE JOB TRAINING PROGRAM FOR TEACHERS’ ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION IMPROVEMENT IN CENTRAL KALIMANTAN
This research is aimed at conducting evaluation, for providing general description and information for the community at large, regarding the implementation of the On Job Training Program for Teachers’ Academic Qualification Improvement in Palangka Raya City, Central Kalimantan. This program evaluation research was conducted at Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Palangka Raya University, by using qualitative descriptive method, and data collection were carried out through observation, direct interviews, questionnaires and literature studies. The subjects of the research were the teachers who have graduated from On the Job Training Program for Teachers’ Academic Qualification Improvement in Palangka Raya Municipality. The result of the evaluation shows that the implementation of the On the Job Training Program for Teachers’ Academic Qualification Improvement in Palangka Raya City, Central Kalimantan, in general had been well conducted in accordance with the guidelines and regulation which are stipulated in the decree of the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia, number 58/2008 and number 15/P/2008, the human resources and other resources provided were generally good, the teaching and learning process (lecturing, practical works) has been successfully conducted in accordance with the effective academic guidelines, the program has produced 139 graduates with the fastest study time was 2 semesters and the longest study time was 5 semesters, and the Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) is 3.21 for kindergarten and elementary school teachers, 2.90 for Junior High School teachers, and 3.21 for Senior High School teachers, with the graduation predicate of satisfactorily good. The result of the evaluation also shows that in general, the teachers’ competence indicated was fairly good, however, in terms of pedagogical competence; the teachers still need to be improved, especially in competence 2 indicator 1 and in competence 4 indicator 11.

Faktor-faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Kemampuan Manajer Dalam Melaksanakan Tugas Dan Hubungannya Dengan Keberhasilan Usaha Koperasi Unit Desa Di Kabupaten Kapuas Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah
The objectives of this study were to analyse the effect of education, training, experience and compensation upon the managers ability in conducting job and the relationships with the success of KUD in the district of Kapuas at Central Kalimantan Province. The hypothesis of this study were: (1) Factors and elements of managers ability [Education (X1), Training (X2), Experience (X3) and Compensation (X4)] affect positively to managers ability in conducting their job at KUD; (2) Managers ability in conducting their job (Y) affect positively on the success of KUD. A survey was applied in the district of Kapuas, Central Kalimantan. In this study 45 KUD were sorted out as a sample and 45 managers of these KUD in the district. The hypothesis were tested using Structural Equation Modeling Analysis (SEM) and using LISREL 8.0 program. The results of this study indicated that (1) education, training, experience and compensation factors positively affected to the managers'ability in conducting their job. Peningkatan Kinerja Dan Profesional Tenaga Pendidik/Guru Di Kota Palangka Raya
Salah satu komponen utama yang menentukan keberhasilan pendidikan adalah guru. Peran guru sangat menentukan keberhasilan belajar peserta didik. Keberhasilan guru dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran ditentukan oleh kompetensi yang dimiliki guru dan kemampuan yang dimiliki peserta didik. Guru yang memiliki kompetensi sebagai pendidik akan lebih berhasil dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran dibanding dengan guru yang tidak memiliki kompetensi. Keberhasilan dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran akan meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik yang selanjutnya akan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, usaha meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan harus dimulai dari peningkatan kualitas guru. Guru yang berkualitas adalah guru yang profesional dalam melaksanakan tugas pembelajaran. Guru yang profesional mampu merancang dan melaksanakan pembelajaran, serta menilai hasil pembelajaran. Dengan kata lain bahwa guru yang berkualitas adalah guru yang mampu melaksanakan kewajiban-kewajibannya secara bertanggung-jawab dan layak atau guru yang memiliki kinerja yang baik. Kinerja guru merupakan prestasi yang dapat ditunjukkan oleh guru. Ia merupakan hasil yang dapat dicapai dalam melaksanakan tugas-tugas yang dibebankan kepadanya berdasarkan kecakapan, pengalaman, dan kesungguhan serta waktu yang tersedia. Wujud dari kinerja guru direalisasikan oleh kompetensi atau profesionalismenya (Riduwan, 2009). Berdasarkan ungkapan tersebut berarti kinerja guru (teacher performance) berkaitan dengan profesionalisme guru, artinya untuk memiliki kinerja yang baik guru harus didukung dengan profesionalisme atau kompetensi yang baik pula. Esensi dari kinerja guru tidak lain merupakan kemampuan guru dalam menunjukkan kecakapan atau profesionalisme yang dimilikinya dalam dunia kerjannya. ANALISIS KEPUASAN KONSUMEN TENTANG PELAYANAN PADA DEALER SUZUKI PT. DAS CABANG PANGKALAN BUN
Setiap perusahaan harus memiliki strategi pemasaran yang dapat menarik minat konsumen salah satunya dengan jasa pelayanan yang diberikan. Pelayanan jasa yang diberikan harus sesuai dengan keinginan konsumen bahkan melebihi harapan konsumen agar tujuan yang diinginkan oleh perusahaan dapat dicapai. Selanjutnya jika terpenuhi harapan konsumen maka akan munculah kepuasan yang dirasakan konsumen. Hal ini akan meningkatkan kepercayaan dan konsumen akan kembali lagi untuk menggunakan jasa pelayanan perusahaan tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Adapun yang menjadi populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pelanggan yang menggunakan jasa Dealer Suzuki PT. DAS Cabang Pangkalan Bun selama 1 bulan dan yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil 50 orang responden/konsumen Dealer Suzuki PT. DAS Cabang Pangkalan Bun. Data ini dikumpulkan melalui observasi, dukumentasi dan angket, serta dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus persentase. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan rumus persentase maka diketahui nilai indikator Keandalan (Reliability) sebesar 87%, Daya Tanggap (Responsiviness) sebesar 64%, Jaminan (Assurance) sebesar 61%, Empati (Empathy) sebesar 78% dan Berwujud (Tangible) sebesar 76%. Nilai tertinggi pada semua indikator dari kolom Puas. Dari hasil data ini artinya Konsumen merasa puas terhadap pelayanan pada Dealer Suzuki PT. DAS Cabang Pangkalan Bun
Analisis Sistem Akuntansi Penggajian Karyawan bagian Logistik & Distribution pada PT. Indotruba Tengah Kotawaringin Barat
Indotruba Tengah merupakan perusahaan perkebunan kelapa sawit yang mengelola kelapa sawit menjadi minyak. Salah satu bagian operasional yang dimiliki PT. Indotruba Tengah adalah bagian Logistik & Distribution yang berfungsi menampung hasil minyak yang akan dijual perusahaan. Sistem akuntansi penggajian penting bagi semua perusahaan termasuk bagian Logistik & Distribution. Sistem akuntansi yang baik akan memudahkan dalam melakukan pengawasan dan melihat ketelitian apabila terjadi kecurangan-kecurangan. Adapun permasalahan yang ingin diketahui adalah bagaimana prosedur, dokumen atau catatan apa saja yang digunakan dan bagaimana bagan alir (flowchart) yang dimiliki bagian Logistik & Distribution pada PT. Indotruba Tengah. Sedangkan tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui prosedur, dokumen atau catatan dan bagan alir (flowchart) bagian Logistik & Distribution pada PT. Indotruba Tengah Kotawaringin Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang meliputi prosedur-prosedur, dokumen atau catatan yang digunakan serta bagan alir bagian Logistik & Distribution pada PT. Indotruba Tengah Kotawaringin Barat. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pengamatan langsung (observation), wawancara (interview) dan dokumentasi (documentation). Objeknya adalah bagian Logistik & Distribution pada PT. Indotruba Tengah Kotawaringin Barat. Sedangkan analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis jaringan prosedur sistem akuntansi penggajian. Bagian Logistik & Distribution pada PT. Indotruba Tengah Kotawaringin barat belum sepenuhnya menerapkan sistem akuntansi penggajian karyawan yang sesuai dengan teori acuan, namun pada prosedur sudah sesuai dengan teori. Sedangkan dokumen atau catatan tidak lagi menggunakan kartu jam hadir, kartu jam kerja dan amplop gaji karena telah digantikan oleh alat fingerprint dan amplop gaji diganti dengan buku rekening bank, dan untuk bagan alir yang digunakan yaitu bagan alir bagian pencatatan waktu hadir, bagan alir bagian gaji, bagan alir general manager, bagan alir bagian kasie dan bagan alir bagian kasir
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
