    WORK POSTURE RELATIONS WITH MUSCULOSKELETAL DISORDERS IN DUMP TRUCK OPERATOR AT PT HARMONI PANCA MAIN

    Improper work posture may affect waist and back pain as well as disruption of the muscularkeletal system. The results of estimates published by NIOSH show that the cost of compensation for musculoskeletal complaints has reached 13 billion dollars annually. This study aims to determine the relationship of work posture with lumbar pain and severity of Muskuloskeletal Disorder at Dump Truck Operators Production Part at PT Harmoni Panca Utama Site East Kalimatan. This research is an analytic survey research with cross sectional design. The population of this research is the dump truck operator in the production section of PT Harmoni Panca Utama Site East Kalimantan totaling 150 people. The number of samples is determined by Purposive Sampling Technique. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires, Nordic Body Map Questioner questionnaires, Video Record and Work Posture Images, a low back pain complaint questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is Spearman rank associative test. Characteristics of respondents in the form: age, employment and BMI have no relationship with the severity of musculoskeletal disorders. The result of spearman rank test analysis between work posture and severity of musculoskeletal disturbance was obtained on peaceful site (p = 0.47) and site singlurus (p = 0.43). Keywords: Work posture, Low back pain, Musculoskeleta

    Effectiveness of Organic Waste Material Noise Dampening in Minimizing Noise Levels in Animal Feed Industry Machinery

    Animal feed production machine specially in pellet machine to produce cylindrical animal feed, there is a pressing screw which high noise intensity. The industry has production machinery with high noise exposure and organic waste that can function as noise damping material. The aims of study to determine the effectiveness of noise absorbers from organic materials on machines. Methods of research is experimental. The object used the production machinery that will be intervened with organic damper on machines then measured by instruments: Sound Level Meter (noise intensity) and ArcGis 10.3 application for noise mapping areas. Analysis of research data with Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the noise intensity of machines exceeded the threshold limited value, an average of 96,75 and 97,35 dBA per 8 hours/day with the most red color zones. After using noise dampers, the noise intensity on the machine decreased to an average of 84,85 and 85,25 dBA/8 hours/day with the most green color zones. Statistical test results with a p-value of 0.000 show that there is a difference before and after the application of noise absorbers on machines. Essence Indonesia Plant Karawang. Metode : Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif memberikan gambaran tentang Pre Startup Safety Review (PSSR) di PT Essence Indonesia Plant Karawang. Pengambilan data penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara observasi langsung, wawancara kepada karyawan serta studi kepustakaan. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian kemudian dibahas dengan membandingkan pada regulasi terkait. Hasil : Pre Startup Safety Review (PSSR) pada area boiler room di PT. Essence Indonesia Plant Karawang telah sesuai dengan OSHA 2000. Monitoring kebisingan merupakan potensi bahaya yang harus diprioritaskan. Pengendalian kebisingan belum dilaksanakan dengan baik. Simpulan : Secara garis besar Pre Startup Safety Review (PSSR) pada area boiler room di PT. Essence Indonesia Plant Karawang yang dilakukan telah sesuai dengan regulasi terkait.     Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Tekanan Panas merupakan salah satu faktor lingkungan fisika yang dapat menyebabkan terjadinya kelelahan kerja pada seseorang. Tekanan Panas di Terminal Tirtonadi Surakarta berbeda-beda dalam memberikan paparan terhadap tenaga kerja, terdapat lokasi yang terpapar di atas Nilai Ambang Batas (ISBB > 28 0C), dan lokasi yang terpapar di bawah Nilai Ambang Batas (ISBB >260C – 280C), serta lokasi yang terpapar pada suhu nikmat kerja (240C – 260C), sehingga akan memberikan pengaruh terhadap terjadinya kelelahan kerja pekerja yang berbeda pula. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan kelelahan kerja pada pekerja dengan beban kerja ringan yang terpapar tekanan panas di terminal Tirtonadi Surakarta. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 81 responden yang diambil dari populasi yang berjumlah 145 pekerja yang terbagi masing-masing dalam 3 kelompok lokasi paparan yaitu lokasi yang terpapar di atas Nilai Ambang Batas (ISBB >28 0C) sejumlah 30 responden, lokasi yang terpapar di bawah Nilai Ambang Batas (>260C – 280C) sejumlah 30 responden, lokasi yang terpapar di suhu nikmat kerja (240C – 260C) sejumlah 21 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji statistic One Way Anova, dengan perolehan hasil nilai signifikan p value adalah 0,000 (p = < 0,05), yang menunjukkan adanya Perbedaan Kelelahan Kerja Pekerja dengan Beban Kerja Ringan yang Terpapar Tekanan Panas di Terminal Tirtonadi Surakarta. Heat stress is one of physical environment factor which influence to fatigue. Heat stress in Tirtonadi Bus Station Surakarta was different each other for giving exposure to workers, there is location which is exposure up to a standard (ISBB > 28°C) and the location which is exposure under the standard (ISBB > 26°C - 28°C), and the location which is exposure on temperature favors the work (24°C - 26°C), so its influence for fatigue was different each other. The aim of this research was find out that is there any different of fatigue for workers with a light work load which exposure by heat stress in Tirtonadi Bus Station Surakarta. Sample of this research was 81 respondents which is taken from 145 workers of the population with Simple Random Sampling Technique which decided in 3 groups of exposure location, there are location which exposure up to a standard (ISBB > 28°C) was 30 respondents and the location which is exposure under the standard (ISBB > 26°C - 28°C) was 30 respondents, the location which is exposure on temperature favors the work (24°C - 26°C) was 21 respondents.     “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
