RELASI ANTARA TUKIMAN DAN WANITA PEKERJA SEKS (Studi Tentang Kekerasan WPS di Lokalisasi Sunan Kuning Semarang)

(Wanita Pekerja Seks) di Lokalisasi Sunan Kuning Semarang. Kekerasan
berpacaran tersebut dilakukan oleh tukiman. Tukiman adalah penyebutan pacar
dari WPS yang berarti (Turu, Laki, Mangan) atau tidur, berhubungan intim dan
makan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Mengetahui Relasi antara tukiman dengan
WPS di Lokalisasi Sunan Kuning Semarang, (2) Mengetahui bentuk-bentuk
kekerasan yang dilakukan tukiman terhadap WPS, (3). Mengetahui Upaya WPS
dalam menyikapi kekerasan yang dialami.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian berada di
Lokalisasi Sunan Kuning Semarang. Subjek penelitian adalah WPS. Informan
dalam penelitian ini yaitu WPS, Tukiman, Warga Lokalisasi dan Pengurus LSM
Lentera Asa, serta Resosialisasi dan Rehabilitasi Argorejo. Pengumpulan data
menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data
menggunakan metode analisis data kualitatif yang terdiri atas pengumpulan data,
reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini
menggunakan Teori interseksionalitas dan Konsep Ketidakadilan Gender menurut
Tri Marhaeni
Hasil penelitian menunjukan (1) Relasi antara WPS dan tukiman merupakan
relasi yang tidak seimbang, meskipun dari segi pekerjaan status ekonomi WPS
lebih tinggi dari tukiman namun hal tersebut tidak mempengaruhi status dan nilai
pekerjaan dimasyarakat serta terjadi tumpang tindih relasi antara WPS dan
tukiman dalam hal ini tukiman tetap mendominasi hubugan berpacaran tersebut.
(2) WPS mengalami berbagai bentuk kekerasan yang dilakukan tukiman baik itu
kekerasan seperti psikologis WPS, fisik, seksual, dan finansial serta ekonomi. (3)
Upaya yang dilakukan WPS dalam menyikapi kekerasan yang tukiman lakukan
berupa WPS tidak melaporkan tukiman karena menganggap hal tersebut adalah
aib, dan WPS kasihan kepada tukiman. Strategi yang dilakukan WPS dalam
menyikapi kekerasan tersebut bersifat pribadi seperti memutuskan untuk berpisah
serta WPS hanya meminta solusi kepada teman sesama WPS maupun pengurus
Resosialisasi dan Rehabilitasi Argorejo.
Saran untuk pengurus Lokalisasi Sunan Kuning Semarang supaya
menambah kegiatan sosialisasi kesadaran hukum kepada WPS agar jika terjadi
kekerasan WPS bisa melakukan pembelaan dan melaporkan kepada pihak
berwajib

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Optimization of supercritical fluid extraction of Mariposa Christia Vespertillonis leaves to produce antioxidant components using response surface methodology / Suzana Tukiman
Full text linkMariposa Christia Vespertillonis (MCV) leaves or known as butterfly wing leaves are popular for traditional medicine treatment. The objective of this experiment is to optimize the antioxidant activity from MCV leaves extract using Supercritical Fluid Extraction (SFE) based on different temperature, pressure and particle size by apply Respond Surface Methodology (RSM). Besides that, it is also to evaluate the optimal condition of different extracting antioxidant activity from MCV leaves using design expert software 10. The condition range for both pressure and temperature are between 150- 350 bar and 30-70 °C with constant extraction time. The size of particles sample was between 60pm- 1 mm. Based on previous study, example of conventional methods of extraction are less effective compared to the latest which is favorable in industries because the extract obtained by SFE is higher in quality compared to conventional organic solvent extraction. The antioxidant is analyzed using UV-vis Spectrophotometer (UV-vis). Based on the calculated moisture content, the lowest and highest MC were 5.72% and 9.67%, respectively. The lowest antioxidant activity was 8.20% and higher antioxidant activity was obtained was 49.76%. Lower absorbance indicates higher free radical scavenging activities. Maximum percentage (%) indicated high scavenging activities, thus higher DPPH is good indication for antioxidant. The antioxidant activity was high with higher free radical scavenging abilities. The experimental optimal condition of antioxidant activity was 49.99 % and 50.30 % and predicted antioxidant was 50.29%. The optimization condition temperature was at 50°C, pressure at 282 bar and particle size at 500pm

In this study the input and output signal in all block diagrams involves in 32-QAM were analyzed and simulated using simulink toolbox in Matlab software. QAM is adapted since it is still widely used modulation technique eventhough there are various number of new modulation technique evolve today. In modern era, precise and accurate design of any system can be achieved by simulation software, therefore MATLAB version 6.5 is chosen in designing, simulating, testing and analyzing the system. Results show that QAM modulation technique is an efficient modulation technique
