    ASPÉK PSIKOLOGI DINA NOVEL RINI KARYA YOSEPH ISKANDAR (Ulikan Struktural jeung Psikologi Sastra)

    Penelitian ini membahas struktur cerita dan aspek psikologi tokoh utama yang terdapat di dalam novel Rini karya Yoseph Iskandar. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan (1) tema, (2) fakta carita, (3) sarana carita, dan (4) psikologi tokoh utama yang terdapat dalam novél Rini karya Yoseph Iskandar. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitis dengan teknik studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) tema dalam novel Rini ini adalah kehidupan dan takdir mengenai jodoh, kematian, dan kebahagiaan. (2) fakta cerita yang terdapat dalam novel Rini terbagi menjadi alur, latar, dan pelaku; alur cerita dibagun oleh 12 episode dengan alur maju; pelaku dibagi menjadi pelaku utama dan pelaku tambahan, terdapat tiga pelaku utama dan 13 pelaku tambahan; latar dalam cerita pun terbagi menjadi tiga, dengan 9 latar tempat, 8 latar waktu, dan latar sosial mengenai bahasa serta lingkungan, (3) sarana sastra yang terdapat dalam novel Rini terbagi menjadi judul, sudut pandang, dan gaya bahasa; judul Rini menggambarkan isi cerita; sudut pandang yang digunakan oleh penulis merupakan sudut pandang orang pertama “saya” sebagai pelaku utama; gaya bahasa yang ditemukan di antaranya simile, personifikasi, hiperbola, pleonasme, eufimisme, metafora, dan litotes, (4) psikologi kepribadian tokoh utama yang terdapat dalan novel Rini mencakup 3 macam karakteristik psikologi dalam diri manusia di antaranya id, ego, superego. This study discusses the structure of the story and the psychological aspects of the main character in the novel Rini by Yoseph Iskandar. The purpose of this study is to describe (1) the theme, (2) the facts of the story, (3) the means of the story, and (4) the psychology of the main character in Yoseph Iskandar's novel Rini. The method used is descriptive analytical with literature study technique. The results show that (1) the theme in Rini's novel is life and destiny regarding mate, death, and happiness. (2) the facts of the story contained in Rini's novel are divided into plot, setting, and actors; the storyline is built by 12 episodes with a forward plot; actors are divided into main actors and additional actors, there are three main actors and 13 additional actors; The setting in the story is also divided into three, with 9 place settings, 8 time settings, and social settings regarding language and environment, (3) the literary tools contained in Rini's novel are divided into titles, points of view, and language styles; Rini's title describes the content of the story; the point of view used by the author is the first person point of view “me” as the main actor; The language styles found include simile, personification, hyperbole, pleonasm, euphemism, metaphor, and litotes, (4) personality psychology of the main character in Rini's novel includes 3 kinds of psychological characteristics in humans including id, ego, and superego

    This article discusses the ontological status of the parts of substances in Aristotle’s theory of categories. Since in this theory the substantial parts, as well as the wholes, are primary subjects of predication, i.e. substances, a part may be to its whole as Socrates is to Callias so that the mereological composition of substances can be regarded as an accident (a relation). It is argued here that in Cat. 7 Aristotle is trying to rule out this possibility by redefining the boundaries of the category of relatives itself. Starting from the framework of the Academic debate and then following closely the text of Cat. 7, the author provides a detailed reconstruction of Aristotle’s argument in order to establish the reason for which the parts of substances hold such an uncertain status. Furthermore, he shows that the Categories do not provide a definitive solution to the mereological problem, which has rather to be sought in the Metaphysics. The following results are attained: a moderately systematic component is revealed in Aristotle’s Categories and a mereological element is detected in the very core of his theory of substance

    MODEL PENGEMBANGAN PENDIDIKAN KEWARGANEGARAAN BAGI UPAYA PEMBINAAN KEWARGANEGARAAN DIGITAL (DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP) MELALUI PEMANFAATAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI DAN KOMUNIKASI DI SEKOLAH

    ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui:1. karakteristik siswa dalam menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi; 2. kewarganegaran digital siswa; 3. Model pengembangan pendidikan kewarganegaraan melalui pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, 4. Efektifitas model pengembangan pendidikan kewarganegaraan melalui pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi terhadap pengembangan digital citizenship; dan 5. Faktor-faktor penghambat dan pendukung upaya membangun kewarganegaraan digital melalui pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam pendidikan kewarganegaraan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development. Pengumpulan dan analisis data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif sehingga data penelitian diolah dengan pendekatan mixed method. Langkah-langkah penelitian dan pengembangan meliputi 3 langkah yaitu studi pendahuluan, pengembangan model, dan uji model. Lokasi penelitian adalah Surakarta di SMK 4, SMK 5, SMK 6, SMK Kristen, dan SMK Jaya Wisata yang melibatkan sampel sebanyak 280 siswa. Penelitian ini mengunakan instrumen wawancara mendalam, kuesioner, observasi, focus group discussion, studi dokumenter. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa: (1) siswa-siswa merupakan warga digital dan memiliki karakteristik sebagai digital native; (2) mayoritas kewarganegaraan digital siswa masih kurang, kewarganegaraan digital tersebut diukur dari unsur hukum digital, etika digital, hak dan kewajiban digital; (3) pengembangan meliputi desain awal, desain pengembangan dan desain akhir. Desain akhir menjadi: merumuskan KI & KD, peta konsep, merumuskan materi, memilih alat & sumber belajar, latihan, rangkuman, kisi-kisi soal, uji kompetensi, kunci jawaban dan glosarium; (4) berdasarkan uji hipotesis terdapat perbedaan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yaitu peningkatan kelas eksperimen yaitu 8,38 sedangkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol yaitu 2,89; (5) Faktor penghambat meliputi: keterbatasan guru tentang materi kewarganegaraan digital, karakteristik guru dan siswa yang berbeda, sekolah belum memiliki kebijakan yang spesifik mengenai kewarganegaraan digital dan faktor pendukung meliputi: ketertarikan siswa terhadap materi kewarganegaraan digital dan materi kewarganegaraan digital bersifat kontekstual, dan guru pendidikan kewarganegaraan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam pembelajaran.;---This study aimed to find out some of the following: 1. characteristics of students in using information and communication technology; 2. digital citizenship students; 3. the development model of civic education through the use of information and communication technology; 4. the effectiveness of the development model of civic education through the use of information and communication technology to digital citizenship development; 5. The inhibiting and supporting factors in digital citizenship efforts through the use of information and communication technology in civic education. This research is Research and Development. Collecting and analyzing qualitative data and quantitative data so this research is processed by mixed approach. The steps of research and development are preliminary studies, model development, and test models. The research location is SMK N 4, SMK N 5, SMK N 6, SMK Kristen and SMK Jaya Wisata involving a sample of 280 students. This study uses the instrument in the interviews (in depth interview), a questionnaire, observation, group discussion forum (FGD), documentary studies. The results showed that: (1) the students are digital citizens and have the characteristics of digital natives; (2) the majority of students are still lacking digital citizenship, digital citizenship is measured from digital law, digital ethics, digital rights and obligations; (3) the development model includes preliminary design, development design and final design. The final design become: formulating KI and KD, concept maps, formulating the material, choose a tool and a source of learning, exercises, summaries, grating matter, competency tests, answer keys and glossary; (4) Based on the hypothesis test there is a difference between the experimental class and the controller class is the improvement of the experimental class is 8.38 while the control class increase is 2.89; (5) The inhibiting factors are: limitations teachers about digital citizenship materials, the characteristics of the different teachers and students, the schools do not have a specific policy regarding digital citizenship and the supporting factors are: the interest of students to the digital citizenship material, the material of digital citizenship has a contextual nature, the civic education teachers using information and communication technology in their learning

    Fostering Digital Citizenship in Indonesia

    This article is intended to illustrate the importance of raising awareness of digital citizenship in Indonesia. The rapid development of technology has penetrated all over the world, including Indonesia. It has influenced the behavior of Indonesian citizens. On the other hand the media often describes the news related to the misuse of technologies such as spreading pornographic content, defamation via social media and so on. Based on those things it needs for an effort to raise awareness of digital citizenship to the Indonesian citizens. We realize that today we do not only face the real world but also the digital world, where the digital world as important as the real world. Even in everyday life we can not be separated from the digital world. With presence of digital citizenship awareness of the digital technology users in Indonesia users can behave as expected. That awareness can be suggested to revise through education, currently Indonesia concern with character education. It is therefore appropriate that fostering awareness of digital citizenship is also needed to get a part in character education for Indonesian citizens

Salah satu contoh di bidang komunikasi. Saat ini komunikasi dapat dilakukan setiap saat tanpa dibatasi oleh jarak dan waktu. Berbagai kemudahan yang ditawarkan bagi penggunanya membuat mereka sangat tergantung pada teknologi. Bahkan saat ini manusia tidak hanya berada dalam dunia nyata saja namun juga dalam dunia maya. Tulisan ini bermaksud menggambarkan karakteristik kewarganegaraan guru-guru pendidikan pancasila dan kewarganegaraan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah angket, wawancara dan studi pustaka.     Abstrak: Novel Ibuk bercerita tentang keluarga sederhana yang bahu membahu bekerja keras untuk mendapat pendidikan yang lebih baik agar mampu memperoleh kehidupan yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menjawab pertanyaan bagaimana fungsi dan peran keluarga dalam novel Ibuk karya Iwan Setyawan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan fungsi dan peran keluarga yang terdapat dalam novel Ibuk karya Iwan Setyawan. Data primer yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa novel Ibuk karya Iwan Setyawan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat diketahui bahwa keluarga dalam novel Ibuk karya Iwan Setyawan menunjukkan fungsi biologis, psikologis, sosial budaya, sosial, dan pendidikan. Kemudian, anggota keluarga yakni Bapak, Ibu dan kelima anaknya Isa, Nani, Bayek, Rini dan Mira menjalankan perannya masing-masing dengan baik.Kata kunci: Fungsi dan peran keluarga, novel Ibuk, sosiologi sastra. Abstract: Novel Ibuk talks about average family who work together to get higher education so that they will get better life. This study is done to answer a question what the function and the role of family in novel Ibuk by Iwan Setyawan. The aim of this study is to describe the function and the role of family in novel Ibuk by Iwan Setyawan. The main data which is used in this study is in the form of novel Ibuk by Iwan Setyawan. This study uses descriptive qualitative method with sociology of literature approach. Based on the data analysis, it is found out that family in the novel Ibuk by Iwan Setyawan shows biology, psychology, social culture, social, and educaton function.     Fenomena Penggunaan Media Internet Untuk Pembelajaran Berbasis Discovery Learning Dalam Mata Kuliah Umum Pendidikan Kewargangeraan Di Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta

    The purpose of his study examines the phenomenon of the application of discovery learning strategies in teaching citizenship education at the Sebelas Maret University of Surakarta. The purpose of research is to examine the citizenship education learning both conceptual, implementation (execution process) and the impact of learning, so as to obtain an answer or solution conceptually, policies and programs that are considered appropriate to the problems that have been formulated. The method of research used qualitative research methods and descriptive analytical approach. Data was collected through documentation, observation, interviews and focus group discussions. The results showed some weakness in the application of discovery learning strategy, namely: (1) students are not able to select the most appropriate source of material to build their knowledge about citizenship, (2) lack of lecturers provide guidance on various sites in the internet where the material citizenship could obtained, (3) less opportunity for students to communicate information and ideas that have been obtained effectively and efficiently in a class discussion cause it's very limited. In conclusion, the weakness of the strategy implementation discovery learning caused by the managerial and learning process which subsequently weakens the ability of students to learn citizenship (students' learning capacity)
