Através da articulação da Teoria Queer e dos Estudos Feministas e da Análise do Discurso (Foucault), procura-se, ainda, perceber que identidades, espaços e temporalidades são possíveis ao deslocar ou manter a matriz cultural de inteligibilidade que estabelece uma relação mimética sexo-gênero-prática sexual.This paper presents an analysis of the forms of representation of subjects homoaffectively oriented and their performances, investigating the construction of identities through the narratives of Caio Fernando Abreu with the intention of understanding whether, in fact, there has been (or not) a substantial change in ways of representing male homosexuality throughout the twentieth century and if, in relation to works such as Bom Crioulo, contemporary literature can be considered more permissive beyond the ownership of the boundaries of limited comprehension of the theme to simple metaphor of degeneration into moral discourse. Dialogues with Memory and Time: A Contribution by the Marques da Silva Foundation for the Promotion of Fernando Távora’s Archive
No full textTravels were imperative for Fernando Távora. Drawing was the most esteemed tool for analysing and understanding what he had the opportunity to see whenever he “jumped borders”. During the month of September 2022, a substantial set of Távora’s journey drawings, archived today at the Marques da Silva Foundation, travelled from Porto to Italy. It was the subject and the objective of an exhibition, I viaggi di Fernando Távora (Cesena, from 23 September to 12 October), promoted by the Architecture Department of Bologna University in a cooperation with the Foundation. The opening event, as requested by the curators – Antonio Esposito, Francesco Saverio Fera, Giovanni Leoni and Giorgio Liverani – included a presentation speech dedicated to the Marques da Silva Foundation and its activities for the valorisation of Fernando Távora’s archive since 2011, when this Foundation took on the challenge of ensuring its conservation, study and diffusion. The speech pronounced on that occasion was an answer to both the request of the curators and the peculiarity of the circumstances: an exhibition focused on a very specific production by a single author and an event – the presentation and the exhibition opening – addressed to a heterogeneous public, composed of both architects and non-architects, having mostly a first contact with Fernando Távora’s work and with Marques da Silva Foundation itself. This contribution, although deprived of the voice and of the images it was originally complemented by, is the transcription of that communication. It also represents a state of an in-progress journey, to which new meanings and new comprehension of the relevance of this fundamental archive are continuously added in time
Terrorismo e duplo nível de legalidade na cultura jurídico-penal brasileira: da doutrina da segurança nacional à guerra ao terror
No full textDissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Centro de Ciências Jurídicas, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Direito, Florianópolis, 2014Esta dissertação possui a pretensão de compreender as imbricações que permearam a noção de terrorismo em diversos contextos históricos, com enfoque particular na sua trajetória no ordenamento jurídico penal brasileiro. No escopo de compreender as transfigurações do vocábulo ao longo dos tempos modernos, desde seu surgimento na Revolução Francesa até a contemporaneidade, é efetuado um estudo histórico jurídico perpassando inclusive por uma breve análise comparativa das legislações antiterror emanadas recentemente em alguns países ocidentais. Além disso, a presente pesquisa propõe-se a realizar uma revisão bibliográfica acerca da temática terrorista em âmbito penal, objetivando perceber os argumentos que fundamentariam e impulsionariam o terrorismo. Cada realidade específica apropria-se deste termo dando a ele um significado distinto, justamente por ser este flexível e dicotômico, fato que possibilita a sua manipulação das mais distintas formas, adaptando-se às necessidades contingenciais de cada contexto. O terrorismo pode apresentar-se tanto em situações de afirmação de um determinado poder hegemônico instituído (popularizado com a expressão "terrorismo de Estado") quanto em casos de contestação, seja ela política, social, cultural, ideológica e até mesmo religiosa. Seu metamorfoseamento teve suporte no fato de ser uma constante a ausência de um delineamento claro das condutas que caracterizariam as ações para a identificação do delito e seus autores, em que pese o mesmo tenha comumente sido mencionado concomitantemente tanto por legislações constitucionais quanto por normas infraconstitucionais. Essa exclusão do Código Penal de algumas condutas delitivas, intitulado duplo nível de legalidade pela doutrina italiana, é uma realidade que se faz presente ainda no ordenamento jurídico penal brasileiro em vigência. Possíveis vindouros abusos e afrontas aos direitos e garantias pluralistas assegurados pela consagrada modernidade jurídica do Estado Democrático de Direito serão evitados quando da elaboração legislativa, e não apenas doutrinária, de uma precisa tipificação penal técnica do crime de terrorismo. Definição esta que será possibilitada por meio de uma contraposição conciliatória das conceituações das práticas consideradas terroristas por parte da doutrina e da legislação brasileira e internacional.Abstract : This dissertation has the intention to understand the intricacies which permeated the notion of terrorism in different historical contexts, with particular focus on his path in the Brazilian criminal law. In order to understand the transfiguration of the word through modern times, since its emergence in the French Revolution until contemporary times, it is made a legal historical study which includes a brief comparative analysis of anti-terror laws issued recently in some Western countries. Furthermore, this research proposes to conduct a bibliographical review on the terrorist theme in criminal matters, aiming to realize the arguments that support and would boost terrorism. Each specific reality appropriates this term giving him a distinct meaning, precisely because it is flexible and dichotomous, allowing it to be used in many different ways, adapting to the needs of each contingency context. Terrorism can be presented both in situations of affirmation of a particular hegemonic established power ("state terrorism") and in cases of dispute, be it political, social, ideological and even religious. It's ability to transform was supported in the fact that there is a constant lack of a clear delineation of the behaviors that characterize the actions to identify the crime and its perpetrators, despite it has been commonly mentioned concomitant by both constitutional and infra-constitutional laws. This exclusion of the Criminal Code of some criminal behaviors, entitled double level of legality by Italiandoctrine, it is a reality that is present even in the Brazilian current penal law. Possible future abuses and affronts to the rights and pluralistic guarantees assured by the legal modernity of the Democratic rule of law will be avoided when the legislative drafting, not only doctrinal, defines a precise criminal technical typification of the offense of terrorism. This definition will be made possible through a conciliatory contrast of the conceptualizations of conducts considered as terrorists by the doctrine and the Brazilian and international law

No full textTese (doutorado) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Centro de Filosofia e Ciências Humanas, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Sociologia Política, Florianópolis, 2015.A construção do legado de Fernando Henrique Cardoso tem transcorrido a partir do signo de rupturas e dicotomias estruturantes, características que se articulam em torno da ideia da transição da atividade intelectual para a atividade política, num processo que reforça traços marcantes da imaginação política brasileira. Partindo da crítica dessa visão, este trabalho investiga o que o processo de formação do legado do autor como levado a cabo até aqui tem a dizer sobre os modos pelos quais se produz e se reinventa o ?pensamento político brasileiro?, ou, em outras palavras, o que sua trajetória intelectual individual representa em relação à trajetória coletiva de pensamento designada por esta expressão. Duas teses interpretativas principais são desenvolvidas ao longo deste trabalho: a primeira, de que o fio de continuidade e de unidade entre os diversos momentos da trajetória intelectual de Cardoso, negado pelas abordagens que até o presente vão dando conta da sistematização de seu legado, pode ser reconstruído e recuperado se a ênfase da análise recair na especificidade política de seus escritos, reconstrução e recuperação que, obviamente, não se furtam a considerar possíveis inconsistências, incoerências e mudanças nas crenças ao longo de sua trajetória; e a segunda, de que tal pensamento político, sem desconsiderar outras fontes genericamente rotuladas como ?universais?, estrutura-se a partir de um diálogo seletivo, sistemático e contínuo com algumas das principais matrizes de interpretação do político no país, diálogo este que, de um lado, torna possível evidenciar a existência de uma cosmovisão a atuar como ?fio condutor? para o conjunto de seu pensamento (conferindo a ele um sentido de coerência) e, de outro, entender o impacto ressignificador desse pensamento sobre tais matrizes. O trabalho está organizado em três partes: na primeira, produz-se uma reflexão teórico-metodológica do campo do pensamento político brasileiro; na segunda, discute-se a especificidade da reflexão política do autor a partir de dois momentos distintos (o do estabelecimento e o da consolidação das suas crenças políticas); e na terceira, num exercício de tentar aproximar as duas primeiras, discute-se a especificidade da inscrição do pensamento político do autor no campo do pensamento político brasileiro a partir de duas variáveis: as filiações e as recepções.Abstract : The construction of Fernando Henrique Cardoso?s legacy has been developed based on the mark of structuring ruptures and dichotomies, characteristics that are both articulated around the idea of the transition from the intellectual to the political activity, in a process that reinforces strong features of the Brazilian political imagination. Anchored in a criticism of this view, this study investigates what the process of formation of the author?s legacy developed until the present moment reveal about the forms through which the ?Brazilian political thought? is produced and reinvented, or, in other words, what his personal intellectual trajectory represents in relation to the collective thought trajectory designated by this expression. Two main interpretative theses are tested throughout this work: the first one is that the continuity and the unity between the several moments of Cardoso?s intellectual trajectory (denied by the approaches that, until the present moment, have been systematizing his legacy) can be reconstructed and recuperated if the emphasis of the analysis lies in the political specificity of his writings - assuming that both the reconstructing and the recuperation, obviously, do not fail to consider possible inconsistencies, incoherences and changes in the beliefs of the author throughout his trajectory; and second , that such political thought , without disregarding other sources generally labeled as ?universal? , is structured from a selective, systematic and continuous dialogue with some of the main forms of interpretation of the policy in the country, this dialogue , on the one hand , makes it possible to show the existence of a worldview to act as ?common thread? for all of his thought (giving him a sense of coherence), and on the other, to understand the impact of this ressignificador thinking about such matrices. The work is organized in three parts: in the first, the field of the Brazilian political thought is theoretical and methodologically questioned; in the second part, the specificity of the author?s political reflection is discussed based on two different moments (the establishment and the consolidation of his political beliefs); and, in the third part, in an attempt of approximating the two previous parts, the specificity of the insertion of the author?s political thought in the Brazilian political thought field is discussed, which is based on two variables: the filiations and the receptions

concernientes a su familia y a su vida, hasta su definitiva marcha a Francia, en donde permaneció
fiel a la casa de Navarra hasta el fin de sus días. Esos datos, sin embargo, pueden conllevar que su
autoría de La silva curiosa pueda ser puesta en duda. En cualquier caso, su nombre llegaría a ser
conocido entre los autores antisemitas de buena parte de Europa, debido a uno de los textos más
famosos recogidos en su (supuesta) obra: la correspondencia apócrifa entre los judíos de España y
los de ConstantinoplaUntil recently, there was not much we knew about the life of the author of La silva curiosa
(Paris, 1583), Julián Íñiguez de Medrano. However, thanks to the discovery of a judicial process
initiated against him in Navarre around 1548, we now can stablish with greater precision the main
facts concerning his family and his life, until he permanently moved to France, where he remained in
the service of the House of Navarre until his last days. Those facts, however, could cast some doubts
about his authorship of La silva curiosa. In any case, his name became known among antisemitic
authors of all Europe, thanks to one of the most famous of the texts included in his (supposed) work:
the apocryphal correspondence between the Jews of Spain and those of Constantinople.

No full textO objetivo da pesquisa foi refletir sobre os elementos que compõem a violência homofóbica, que pode ocorrer pela via do preconceito ou do bullying. Os elementos foram compreendidos pelo seu potencial de fomentar a violência homofóbica e por contribuir para a disposição psíquica regredida. A construção das análises guiou-se por aquilo que T. W. Adorno denominou como constelação método que possibilita a apreensão das nuances de um fenômeno conforme a sua constituição histórica evitando a síntese. As análises foram construídas com o intuito de diferenciar a forma pela qual os processos psicossociais atuam nessas duas formas de violência. A diferenciação entre as formas em que a homofobia pode ocorrer possibilitou lançar um olhar crítico tanto sobre o conceito de bullying homofóbico, quanto sobre a formação cultural na contemporaneidade. O empobrecimento da experiência fomenta a expressão de traços narcisistas e sadomasoquistas de personalidade. Os estereótipos atuam como racionalizações e delimitam o alvo do preconceito; no bullying, os estereótipos atuam como formação reativa e a estereotipia torna-se automatizada. Tanto no preconceito quanto no bullying, o medo é concernente com a falsa projeção. Os tabus sexuais associados ao tabu sobre o corpo fomentam a crueldade dos crimes de homofobia. Em sua maioria, os elementos da homofobia relacionam-se com o preconceito. O conceito de preconceito se mostrou mais apropriado para compreender a violência homofóbica do que o conceito de bullying homofóbico.The objective of the research was to reflect on the elements that make up homophobic violence, which can occur through prejudice or bullying. The elements were understood for their potential to foster homophobic violence and for contributing to regressed psychic disposition. The construction of the analyzes was guided by what T. W. Adorno called the constellation a method that makes it possible to apprehend the nuances of a phenomenon according to its historical constitution, avoiding synthesis. The analyzes were built in order to differentiate the way in which the psychosocial processes act in these two forms of violence. The differentiation between the ways in which homophobia can occur has made it possible to take a critical look at both the concept of homophobic bullying and contemporary cultural formation. The impoverishment of experience encourages the expression of narcissistic and sadomasochistic personality traits. Stereotypes act as rationalizations and define the target of prejudice; in bullying, stereotypes act as reactive formation and stereotyping becomes automated. In both prejudice and bullying, fear is related to false projection. The sexual taboos associated with the taboo on the body fosters the cruelty of homophobia crimes. Most of the elements of homophobia are related to prejudice. The concept of prejudice proved to be more appropriate to understand homophobic violence than the concept of homophobic bullyin

No full textThis text is a tribute of the Ecuadorian modernist poet Medardo Ángel Silva, in commemoration of the centennial of his death, in 2019. It highlights the different reasons why Silva is a ‘living’ poet, author of one of the most influential books in the tradition and historiography of early XXth century Ecuadorian literature, El árbol del bien y el mal (1918). It also draws attention to the return (“involution”) of the poet in the face of classicism and his achievements as a chronicler who was able to provide an account of the city’s new settings and conducts as well as processes of modernization. The author also celebrates the work and contributions of Silva’s biographer, the historian Abel Romeo Castillo, whose work and actions to keep his friend’s legacy from oblivion, were and are vital when we examine the life and writing of the Guayaquilean poet and chronicler.Este texto es un tributo al poeta modernista ecuatoriano Medardo Ángel Silva, al cumplirse este 2019 el centenario de su fallecimiento. Se destaca las razones de por qué Silva es un poeta “vivo”, autor de un libro tan fundamental en la tradición y en la historiografía de la literatura ecuatoriana de inicios de siglo XX como es El árbol del bien y del mal (1918); el retorno (“involución”) del poeta ante el clasicismo y los logros del cronista que supo dar cuenta de los nuevos escenarios y conductas de la ciudad y los procesos de modernización.
