Sustainable Ecotourism Development In Negeri Lumoli, Maluku-Indonesia: Sociology Studies
The potential development of the tourism sector is often associated with its role as one of the strengths of the source of income contribution to regional income. Sociologically, Maluku consists of a series of large and small islands with various beauties, makes Maluku an amazing tourist place in cultural customs and natural scenery. In this context, tourism development must refer to sustainable tourism development in Negeri Lumoli, Maluku-Indonesia, which has good tourism and culture. This research aimed to explain how to develop waterfalls as Ecotourism for sustainable tourism development in Negeri Lumoli. Sustainable tourism development refers to the World Tourism Organization, which includes environmentally, economically, and socio-culturally sustainable components. One form of sustainable tourism is Ecotourism. The tourism process is carried out by protecting and minimizing environmental impacts, maximizing benefits for residents, and maximizing tourist satisfaction. The development of an area into an ecotourism area will foster hope in the community so that Ecotourism can positively influence people\u27s lives and the living environment. In this ecotourism research conducted in Negeri Lumoli, related to the existence of waterfalls, the results of the study indicate that community expectations from ecotourism development can support three important components of the community\u27s economy, ecology that is still maintained, and socio-cultural sustainability, so that in the end it becomes a destination for tourism. Superior and sustainable tourism.Â
THE CULTURAL VALUES OF THE ISLAND’S INDIGENOUS PEOPLE
The cultural values of the indigenous peoples in the form of local wisdom are identities and guidelines that must be upheld. Currently, the cultural values of the indigenous peoples in the islands are already at a weakening of their identity. So that the purpose of this research is to provide a comprehensive understanding to the indigenous people of the island of Asilulu to maintain the beauty values that have been preserved since the time of their ancestors several hundred years ago. The method used in this research is qualitative in the form of case studies to re-explore the cultural values of society. It should be noted that the people in this country are experiencing a weakening of cultural values which is marked by the loss of some traditional institutions that were previously preserved and upheld. This attenuation occurs as a result of the influence of external factors and internal factors in society. The results of the research prove that the community has the desire to revive these cultural values
Orang Haria and Marriage Customs: The Reality of Socio-cultural Order in the Maluku Archipelago
Maluku is an archipelagic region consisting of both large and small islands surrounded by the ocean. The community interaction dynamics on and between these islands are shaped by the knowledge or mindsets based on each community’s cultural background or traditional customs, which are institutionalized within every individual and within the collective community of its adherents. Specifically, marriage customs, whether it involves payment of a dowry or traditional legitimization, integrates two individuals with different identity backgrounds into the social environment on a micro-scale (family/mataruma) and a macro scale (village/community). The people of Haria identify themselves as part of Negeri Haria, one of the traditional villages on Saparua Island, Maluku, which has meaningful marriage traditions aimed at establishing social and cultural order. These marriage customs signal to family members and ancestors about the marriage events of descendants, visible from the traditional process of introducing a wife, whether from within or outside Negeri Haria, and the obligations of a man who marries and takes a daughter from Negeri Haria to merge with his identity (family/original village). The various conditions include kain berkat (negeri wealth) meja kaweng, marriage dowry payment, and hatu mata. Additionally, there are traditions of changing the surname of a child born out of wedlock (child reallocation) or adopting someone else’s anak (arken anak). The young generation of Negeri Haria, generally needs more precise knowledge about marriage customs to form social order for newly established households. This writing aims to reveal the objective reality of the community’s oral traditions in written form, preserved for cultural conservation purposes. The reality was discovered using qualitative research, such as observation and interview methods. Hence, efforts to preserve the cultural values of this indigenous community involve tracing stories from traditional leaders who possess the knowledge and perform the ritual processes of marriage customs.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
