    Analysis of WMN-GA simulation system results: A comparison study for node placement in WMNs considering exponential and weibull distributions and different transmission rates

    In our previous work, we presented WMN-GA (Wireless Mesh Networks-Genetic Algorithm) system. In this paper, we use WMN-GA and analyze the simulation results considering packet delivery ratio (PDR), throughput and delay metrics. For simulations, we used ns-3 simulator and Hybrid Wireless Mesh Protocol (HWMP). We evaluate the performance of WMN for Exponential and Weibull distributions by sending multiple constant bit rate (CBR) flows and different transmission rates in the network. From simulation results, we found that for 10, 20 and 30 number of connections, the PDR is less than 60% when the transmission rate is more than 1200 kbps for Exponential distribution. The PDR for Weibull distribution is higher than Exponential distribution. For different number of connections, the throughput is increased linearly with the increasing of the transmission rate. The throughput of Exponential distribution is higher than Weibull distribution. With increasing of the number of the connections and the transmission rate, the delay is increased. For 10 connections, the delay is very small until the transmission rate is 800 kbps. The delay of Exponential distribution is smaller than that of Weibull distribution

První část práce zahrnuje základní východiska, kde jsou vymezeny rozvojové země, definována rozvojová spolupráce a popsán její vývoj v čase. Také jsou zde zhodnoceny trendy v rozvojové spolupráci ve světě. Druhá část práce pojednává o samotné Kambodži, nastiňuje historické pozadí a socioekonomickou situaci země. Vyhodnocení trendů autorka provádí metodou analýzy toků ODA.The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the current trends in the provision of ODA in Cambodia in the context of general trends. The first part of the thesis includes the theory - the definition of developing countries, development cooperation and described its development in time. Current world trends in development assistance are included as well. The second part deals with Cambodia itself, outlines the historical background and socioeconomic situation of the country. Node placement problems have been investigated for a long time in the optimization field due to numerous applications in location science. In our previous work, we evaluated WMN-GA system which is based on Genetic Algorithms (GAs) to find an optimal location assignment for mesh routers. In this paper, we evaluate the performance of two different distributions of mesh clients for two WMN architectures considering throughput, delay and energy metrics. For simulations, we used ns-3 and Optimized Link State Routing (OLSR). We compare the performance for normal and uniform distributions of mesh clients by sending multiple Constant Bit Rate (CBR) flows in the network. The simulation results show that for both distributions, the throughput of Hybrid WMN is higher than I/B WMN architecture. The delay of Hybrid WMN is a lower compared with I/B WMN. The delay for Hybrid WMN is almost the same for both distributions. However for I/B WMN, the delay is lower for Uniform distribution. For Normal distribution, the energy decreases sharply, because of the high density of nodes. For Uniform distribution, the remaining energy is higher compared with Normal distribution.Peer ReviewedPostprint (author's final draft

    Cumhuriyet dönemi şair ve yazarları arasında olan Sabahattin Kudret Aksal, eserlerinde kent insanın gündelik hayat mücadelesi ve çatışmasını ele alır. Sıradan küçük adamın-insanın, zaman, mekân ve nesnelerle kuşatılmışlığı, yaşama katılma reflekslerini, felsefik ve psikojik öğlerle eserlerine taşyan yazar, öykülerinde olaylardan ziyade durumuları irdeler. Öyküleri yapı ve izlek bakımdan sağlam olan yazar, benöyküsel öyküleriyle öykü dünyasında kendine yer bulur. Sabahattin Kudret Aksal’ın ‘Soyut Oda’ adlı eseri de benöyküsel bir öyküdür. Yazar ‘Soyut Oda’ adlı öyküsünde bireyin zaman, mekân ve değişen dünya karşısında kendini yeniden kurma çabasını vurgular. Öykü kişisi, Ali Numan Bey’in kendini yitik saydığı zaman ve uzamdan kaçarak kendi benliğine yönelmesi, öykünün temel dokusunu oluşturur. The author carrying the siege mentality of the every short man with the time, place and objects and his joining reflexes into the life in his works via philosophical and psychological elements studies the situations rather than the events in his stories. The author whose stories are firm with respect to the structure and the theme has a place with the egonarrative stories in the story world. Sabahattin Kudret Aksal’s work called ‘Soyut Oda’ is an ego-narrative story. In his story called ‘Soyut Oda’, the author emphasizes the individual effort to re-form himself/herself against the time, place and the changing world. The time when the storyman Ali Numan Bey cuts himself dead and comes into his own by escaping from the location forms the ground tissue of the story. Sabahattin Kudret Aksal’s story called ‘Soyut Oda’ has the charcateritics of a general inference of the author’s stories with respect to the view-point, event, individual, time, place and basic themes
