Clinical Evaluation of the Efficacy of Acne Vulgaris Laser Therapy

    No full text
this article summarizes the study for the treatment used a medical device based on a copper vapor laser Yakhroma-Med, which emits two wavelengths - green and yellow (511 nm and 578 nm), coinciding, respectively, with the absorption peaks of melanin and hemoglobin. Laser light is emitted in pulses of 20 nanoseconds, at intervals of the order of 100 microseconds. Yakhroma-Med has a mechanical shutter blocking the laser beam, so that the exposure time can be selected from 0.1 to 0.9 s. Using light filters, it is possible to irradiate the yellow wavelength, green, or both together. The objective of our work included the clinical evaluation of the effectiveness of laser therapy for Acne vulgaris

The problem of treatment of lichen planus and currently remains relevant. An important task of the topical application of medicinal compositions is to create an effective concentration in the focus of inflammation and maintain such a concentration for a long period of time. This study describes a method for the treatment of patients with lichen planus with the inclusion of sesoran ointment in standard therapy. A clinical study showed that with the use of the above preparation, regeneration of lichen planus was observed by the beginning of 2 weeks. The inclusion of Sesoran ointment in the treatment regimen allows accelerating epithelialization and tissue repair, and stabilizing the inflammatory process

Local Treatment of Patients with Genital Herpes

Genital herpes (GH) is one of the most socially significant problems in the clinical practice of dermatovenerologists, obstetricians, gynecologists, urologists. The number of patients with GH has increased by 30% over the past 10 years. The main role in the etiology of HSV belongs to HSV type 2 (HSV-2), but the pathogens of this pathology can become both HSV type 1 (HSV–1) and a combination of both types of herpes simplex virus. The prevalence of HSV-2 infection in the population ranges from 7 to 40% and averages 20%

this article summarizes the study of the study group consisted of 132 patients, including 66 men and 66 women aged 16 to 73 years, with a disease duration of 3 months to 10 years. According to the clinical forms of the disease, the group with chronic furunculosis was the most numerous - 75 (56.8%). Hidradenitis was detected less frequently — 9.1%, and chronic ulcerative and ulcerative-vegetative pyoderma — 8.3%. The rest of the patients - 25.8% were in the group with chronic forms of streptostaphyloderma (impetigo, ecthyma, sycosis vulgaris). The objective of our work included the development of a complex method for the treatment of chronic pyoderma using a bacterial multicomponent vaccine

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
