No full textThis bachelor thesis consists of a Czech translation of a German text and a commentary on the translation. According to the assignment, translated is a selected chapter from the book Ludwig Mies van der Rohe - Das Haus Tugendhat by Daniela Hammer-Tugendhat, Wolf Tegethoff et al. The second part contains an commentary on the translation, i.e. a translation analysis of the source text according to the model of Christiane Nord, a description of the translation method, typology of the main translation problems with examples and their solutions, and the typology of translation shifts.
