Fabler af Gyllenborg, ur dess Sednare Vitterhets Arbeten aftryckte
Here is one of the nicest books I found in Sweden. Count Gustaf Fredrik Gyllenborg (1731-1808) was one of the original members of the Swedish Academy. This seems to be the important publication of fables by Gyllenborg. Does the title suggest that it was put together posthumously from the papers he left behind twenty years earlier? There are four books, introduced by an opening T of C. They seem typically Aesopic. Would one be correct to suspect a typical Enlightenment agenda in the fables? There is a strong lithographed frontispiece: Aesopus och Djuren. Aesop here is a balding senior among animals. The other three lithographed illustrations are LM (57); Tuppen City Tornet (109); and The Man with an Enlivened Snake (161). They are very well executed! Each lithograph is signed Lundquist and Gjöthstrom (?). The book's paper is unusually thin. This work has been put onto the web by Projekt Runeberg. Not in Bodemann. This is a hardbound book (hard cover)Language note: SwedishGustaf Fredrik Gyllenbor

Orchid love
As a 46XY chromosomal woman with the intersex variation Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (AIS) recently separated from her husband, the author explores the philosophical intricacies of dating, sex and love through her journaling and documentary practice. This ‘empowered reveal’ forms the basis for a transformative, phenomenological exploration of love, loss, desire and sex through a prism of feminism and embodied difference. It will be argued the positioning of the author and her lovers together, sexually strong, is a rupture of asexual preinscription
Title: “You don’t do it to be safe, you do it to get it done” – Construction workers’ experiences of safety in the workplace linked to the risk of accidents resulting in injury or death Author: Anna Lundquist Program: Occupational Health Sciences 60 credits. Master thesis in Occupational Health Sciences 15 credits. University of Gävle Background: Construction workers work in high risk environments, where a combination of factors contribute to increase the risk of accidents resulting in injury or death. Between 2009 and 2018, 89 accidents resulting in death happened in the Swedish construction business, but despite this there is a lack of research on the subject. That is why it is important to explore construction workers’ experiences of safety and risks in the workplace. Aim: The aim of this study is to explore construction workers’ experiences of safety and risks linked to accidents resulting in injury or death. Method: Eight construction workers were recruited to the study. Semi-structured interviews were done over telephone with the eight construction workers, after which the interviews were transcribed and analyzed using a qualitative content analysis. Result: The overall theme that was identified from the experiences of the construction workers concerned health factors and risk factors in the workplace. Health factors such as participation, communication and preparation fit within the health factors, while physical and social risk factors, time pressure and vulnerability fit within the risk factors. Conclusion: This study has described construction workers’ experiences of safety and risks in the workplace, but the area is still unexplored. Further research is needed to chart construction workers’ experiences of safety and risks more clearly. In future, interventions can be adapted to decrease construction workers’ risks of accidents resulting in injury and death for both individuals and groups. Examensarbete i arbetshälsovetenskap, magisternivå 15 hp.

Free reflexives: Reflexives without a sentence-internal antecedent
Unbound reflexives exist in Icelandic and Faroese in contexts where an “author” or a logophoric center has been
established in the discourse, as has been discussed by Maling (1984) and Sigurðsson (1990) for Icelandic, and
Barnes (1986) for Faroese
The Challenge of Prosthetic Services in Developing Countries
Providing landmine victims and other disabled persons with the support and services they need to recover can be a challenging process in developing countries. The author describes that a holistic approach to rehabilitative care is necessary and applies this principle to community-based rehabilitation (CBR)
Emergency department patient flow
Public health is the health status of a population and uses different approaches to maintain the health of the population. Emergency departments play a key role in public health. They are complex and difficult due to many different factors. ABC Memorial Hospital had an emergency department that was inefficient and consistently failed to meet the time requirements they had set for themselves. The author was given opportunity to observe ABC Memorial’s ED and present the findings to the hospital’s Nurse Executive Forum. The purpose of this essay is to explore the overall importance of patient flow and patient satisfaction in the emergency department of a hospital. Throughout the essay the author will research and explore best practices, how to improve patient flow and satisfaction, and technology that helps improve the emergency department. The author will also provide the observations and recommendations given to ABC Memorial Hospital
