    <i>Mallomonas pseudocorymbosa</i> Gusev, Martynenko & Shkurina <i>sp. nov.</i> (Figure 2). <p> <b>Diagnosis:</b> Scales are oval, tripartite, 4.8–5.9 × 3.3–4.3 µm in size, with or without a dome. The dome is large, rounded, oval or asymmetrical. The V-rib is acute, slightly hooded and its arms continuous with the anterior submarginal ribs. Anterior submarginal ribs are well developed. The anterior flange is wide, especially on the domeless scales, with a row of base plate pores at each side. The posterior flange is wide, with numerous base plate pores distributed on the surface. The shield and posterior flange have a secondary siliceous layer forming circular or elongated oval meshes unevenly distributed on the surface often with areas without development of the secondary layer. Numerous pores are placed on the basal plate. The posterior upturned rim is narrow, with inner struts visible only on TEM images, encircles less than a half of the scale perimeter. Bristles are 13–25 μm long, curved and serrated at the distal half. Shorter bristles have a bifurcated tip with a long terminal spine, and longer bristles have a prolonged thread-like terminal part. Cysts unknown.</p> <p> <i>Holotype (here designated):</i> Portion of a single gathering of cells on SEM stub No. CD8 deposited at the Herbarium, Papanin Institute for Biology of Inland Waters RAS, Borok (IBIW). Material from Ahn Hai Lake, Côn SƠn Island, Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu Province, Vietnam. Figure 2C illustrates a representative scale from the holotype specimen.</p> <p> <i>Type Locality:</i> Ahn Hai Lake, Côn SƠn Island, Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu Province, Vietnam. Latitude / Longitude: 8° 40.645’ N 106° 35.867’ E. At the time of collection, the pH was 6.5, temperature 30 °C, and specific conductance 201 µS cm-1. Material was collected by E.S. Gusev and Nguyen-Ngoc Lam on 3 May 2015.</p> <p> <i>Etymology:</i> The species name is derived from the fact that its scales resemble, and could be confused with, those of <i>Mallomonas corymbosa</i>.</p> <p> <i>Distribution:</i> This species has been observed in 17 localities in 13 provinces of Vietnam (Table 1).     Electrically enhanced drying of white champignons

    [EN] Electrohydrodynamic (EHD) drying is a novel non-thermal dewatering technology using electric discharge in air to enhance dehydration of heatsensitive biomaterials. Low energy consumption and high product quality make it attractive for industry. In this study, the mushrooms slices have been dried under sole EHD with 12, 14, and 16 kV DC, and EHD in combination with air cross-flow at 1 m s-1 and different relative humidity (RH) from 30 to 70 %. It was found that drying kinetics was exponential over initial moisture contents from 3.3 to 14.1 g·g-1 (db). The equilibrium moisture content ranged from 0.15 to 0.1 g g-1 depending on RH. The so-called Impurity Helium Solid Phase (IHSP) being stable then up T = 7K shows the regular arrangement of the impurities with their reliable isolation by helium atoms. The feasibility of previously excited species capture to IHSP may be achieved. So metastable N(2^{2}D) atoms display extremely long-lived, more than 10410^{4} s, luminescence. Their radiative decay turns out to be caused solely by excimer-like state formation with accidentally neighbouring heavy particle2particle^{2}. That was proved for N(2^{2}D)-Rg pairs (Rg = Ne, Ar, Kr, Xe) by both spectra shapes and emission lifetimes observed. For N(2^{2}D)-N2N_{2} state the comparison of atomic N(2D4S)N(^{2}D-^{4}S) and rovibronic N(2D)N2(ν=0)N(4S)N2(ν=1)N(^{2}D)-N_{2}(\nu = 0) \rightarrow N(^{4}S)-N_{2}(\nu = 1) spectra evidences their excimer nature as well3well^{3}. The distances between neighbour N atoms in IHSP, 1 mm, are small enough for cooperative bulk magnetic effects appearances.     Relativistic corrections to the pair Bc-meson production in e+e− annihilation

    AbstractRelativistic corrections to the pair Bc-meson production in e+e−-annihilation are calculated. We investigate a production of pair pseudoscalar, vector and pseudoscalar+vector Bc-mesons in the leading order perturbative quantum chromodynamics and relativistic quark model. Relativistic expressions of the pair production cross sections are obtained. Their numerical evaluation shows that relativistic effects in the production amplitudes and bound state wave functions three times reduce nonrelativistic results at the center-of-mass energy s=22 GeV

    Lifestyle diseases: Health in the contemporary city∗

    The article presents an overview of studies of the factors that affect health in the contemporary city. The increase in the urban population makes it necessary to analyze factors (environmental, social, etc.) and features of the urban structure in terms of their impact on the quality and standards of living. However, assessments of the city in the study of healthy lifestyle are contradictory. On the one hand, researchers emphasize the availability of medical care, effective fight against infectious diseases, and numerous attempts to transform the visual urban space. On the other hand, researchers stress the spatial inequality of the urban structure (for example, in access to health care), the spread of noncommunicable and lifestyle diseases in cities, the destruction of social ties and the problem of loneliness. Therefore, it is necessary to systematize the current research, identify the main risks of urban lifestyle, and discuss the role of social sciences in such interdisciplinary studies. The proposed typology of health research in the contemporary city is based on Yu.P. Lisitsyn’s ratio of factors that determine the level of health. Although many studies claim an integrated approach, the analysis showed that most of them present one of three approaches: the study of sanitary-hygienic features of the urban space (or its medical aspects); the study of ecology and architecture of the urban space; the study of social-psychological features of the urban lifestyle. The systematization of the main risks of the urban lifestyle allowed the author to identify the priority areas of its study. Thus, based on the features of the covid-19 pandemic in cities, the author argues that there is a need for more active participation of sociologists in the discussion of both infectious and non-communicable diseases, which should focus on social factors of their spread, course, prevention and control

Tomilin was the author of more than 100 scientific works devoted to important problems of Sanitary and Preventive medicine. Two of them "The Attempt of Sanitary Description of Ukraine" (1928) and "Sexually Transmitted Diseases in the District Cities of Ukraine in 1927" (1928) were awarded by the Ukrainian Sciences' Administration.
