BUDAYA ORGANISASI LEMBAGA PENDIDIKAN DALAM PERSPEKTIF ISLAM
This article discusses organizational culture with a focus on studies on the organizational culture of Islamic perspective. The writing of this article is motivated by the existence of factors that can influence the culture of Islamic Education organizations. In addition, the author also wants to conduct a study of cultural relations with Islam, as well as how the culture of Islamic perspective. The method used by the authors in this article is to search for various relevant literature. The results of the studies conducted were: 1. some figures defined organizational culture as more philosophical, but there were also more operational ones; 2. There are three processes and stages in forming organizational culture; 3. There is a relationship between culture and Islam, the relationship is proof that Islam is the basis, principle, controller and direction, besides that Islam is a source of value in the development of culture; 4. Organizational culture in Islamic Education institutions refers to the value of togetherness, basic assumptions, and artifacts adopted by Islamic Education institutions, whether boarding schools, madrassas or Islamic Higher Education institutions.
 
Kiat-kiat Membangun Strategi Pembelajaran Emansipatoris pada Pendidikan Dasar Islam
This article discusses about emancipatory education, the main focus is the strategy of building emancipatory education. Education has a close relationship with social change, both in the form of dynamics of individual development and social processes on a broader scale. This study of emancipatory education is important, because in this globalization era Education is one of the decisive aspects, especially in opening the way to liberation from poverty, ignorance and adversity. Emancipatory meaning is human liberation from fetters in the context of Education, this emancipatory idea is expected to be able to give new colors and changes to the process and implementation of Education which has been regarded as giving less freedom. The liberation paradigm is the main basis of emancipatory education. This liberation makes an education play a role in freeing students from ignorance, retardation, obedience and immorality. There are several efforts that must be made in building an emancipatory learning strategy on Islamic Education. First, shifting the focus of attention from religion to religiosity. Second, enter plurality. Third, emphasizing the formation of attitudes. Then there are three keys in the emancipatory Education model, namely: humanization, critical and democratic awareness
Strategi Penguatan Sikap Toleran Siswa Melalui Program Pendidikan Islam Berwawasan Moderasi Beragama di SMP Negeri 4 Gresik
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memahami bagaimana strategi penguatan sikap toleran sebagai manifestasi dari moderasi beragama di sebuah lembaga sekolah. Untuk memahami fenomena yang diteliti secara mendalam, penelitian ini mengadopsi metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, yang datanya diperoleh dari wawancara dan dokumentasi, serta peneliti melakukan observasi secara langsung untuk memperkuat data yang diperoleh. Hasil penelitian tentang strategi penguatan sikap toleran siswa melalui program pendidikan Islam berwawasan moderasi beragama yang telah terlaksana dengan baik di SMP Negeri 4 Gresik, diantaranya adalah pertama, melalui pembelajaran langsung di dalam kelas dengan menggunakan metode ceramah dan audio-visual. Kedua, melalui program ekstrakurikuler kesenian yakni mengenalkan budaya melalui tari seni. Ketiga, melalui program intrakurikuler kegiatan Jum’at bersih dan makan sehat bersama setiap bulan untuk memupuk kerukunan antar warga sekolah. Studi ini dapat menjadi sumber informasi yang dapat digunakan oleh para peneliti yang tertarik pada bidang moderasi beragam
Implementasi Nilai Profetik dalam Membentuk Karakter Siswa di Madrasah
The importance of the implementation of prophetic values in the formation of student character in madrasas, especially in MTs Al-Hafizh Surabaya. Emphasis on affective and psychomotor aspects in education is urgently needed to overcome various deviant behaviors among students, such as brawls and drug abuse. Prophetic education, which is grounded in the values of humanization, liberation, and transcendence, offers an approach to developing students\u27 potential and strengthening their faith. This study uses a qualitative type of research. Data and documents were collected and compiled using in-depth interview techniques, participant observation and documentation studies. The data and documents are then checked for validity through triangulation of sources, techniques and time. Furthermore, the data and documents are analyzed in a qualitative descriptive manner. The result of this research is that MTs Al-Hafizh has implemented prophetic values into the school\u27s vision and mission, through routine activities such as congregational prayers and religious learning. The active role of principals, teachers, and homeroom teachers in internalizing these values is very important, supported by intense communication with students\u27 parents. Thus, it is hoped that students can develop good character, integrity, and responsibility, be ready to face the challenges of the times and contribute positively to society
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Strategi Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam Membentuk Karakter Moderat Siswa di SMPN 41 Surabaya
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi pendidikan agama islam dalam membentuk karakter moderat siswa di SMPN 41 Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. penelitian yang dihasilkan dengan data-data yang bersifat deskriptif dalam bentuk kata-kata dan tulisan atau lisan dari objek yang diamati pengumpulan dan penyususnan data yang kemudian diolah, dijelaskan, dan dianalisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwasanya strategi yang di gunakan guru PAI dalam membentuk karakter moderat siswa ialah dengan menggunakan pembiasaan, praktik audio visual,penanaman nilai toleransi, pemberian motivasi, keteladanan, pemberian nasihat serta melalui pembelajaran BTQ. Adapun faktor yang mendukung pembentukan karakter ialah:dari semangat yang di miliki peserta didik itu sendiri serta lingkungan dan prasarana yang mendukung, adapun faktor penghambatnya ialah faktor orang tua yang kurang mendukung anak didiknya saat berada di rumah
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
