    PREFIKS {ta-} DALAM KABA SI UMBUIK MUDO KARYA ILYAS PAYAKUMBUH

    Skripsi berjudul “Prefiks {ta-} dalam Kaba Si Umbuik Mudo Karya Ilyas Payakumbuh”. Pada skripsi ini dibahas masalah (1) kelas kata yang dilekati oleh prefiks {ta-}, dan (2) Makna gramatikal prefiks {ta-} yang melekat pada kata sifat, kata benda, dan kata kerja dalam kaba tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk (1) mendeskripsikan kelas kata yang dilekati oleh prefiks {ta-}, dan mendeskripsikan makna prefiks {ta-} yang melekat pada kata sifat, kata benda dan kata kerja dalam kaba tersebut. Untuk menganalisis data, penelitian ini menggunakan teori morfologi yang dikemumukakan oleh Putrayasa (2008), Kridalaksana (2008), Ayub (1993), Kridalaksana (2007). Metode yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data adalah metode simak. Teknik dasar yang digunakan yaitu sadap. Teknik lanjutan ialah Teknik catat. Metode analisis data menggunakan metode agih. Teknik dasar ialah teknik Bagi Unsur Langsung (BUL) dan teknik lanjutannya ialah teknik ganti. Adapun metode dalam penyajian hasil analisis data digunakan metode informal dan formal. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa prefiks {ta-} pada kaba Si Umbuik Mudo memiliki kemampuan untuk bergabung dengan kata dasar berupa kata kerja, kata benda, dan kata sifat. Berdasarkan proses pembentukan kata yang dilekati oleh prefiks ini ditemukan dua fungsi yaitu bersifat derivasional dan infleksional. Setelah kata dasar bergabung dengan prefiks {ta-} terdapat 2 fungsi yaitu infleksional 35 data (tiga puluh lima) dan derivasional ada 19 data (Sembilan belas). Makna gramatikal yang ditemukan pada “prefiks {ta-} dalam kaba Si Umbuik Mudo Karya Ilyas Payakumbuh” yaitu menyatakan makna keadaan, tidak sengaja, ketidakmampuan, ketiba-tibaan, dapat di , kemungkinan, menunjukkan suatu peristiwa, sudah di , terduga, spontan

    Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Transformasional Kepala Sekolah Terhadap Pengembangan Profesionalisme Guru di SMP Swasta Muhammadiyah 01 Medan. Metode Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian survey. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 60 guru. Sampel yang digunakan adalah Kepala Sekolah dan Guru. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket atau kuesioner. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah kuesioner, dan untuk analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji linearitas, uji homogenitas,dan uji hipotesis (menggunakan uji-t) Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel Kepemimpinan Transformasional Kepala Sekolah dengan Profesionalisme Guru di SMP Swasta Muhammadiyah 01 Medan. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil uji hipotesis yang dilakukan, menunjukkan Kepemimpinan Transformasional Kepala Sekolah memberikan kontribusi terhadap profesionalisme guru sebesar 0,388 x 100%= 38,8 %.Melalui uji t yang telah dilakukan ternyata diperoleh t hitung = 3,870 sedangkan nilai t tabel = 2,042. Oleh karena t hitung (3,870) > t tabel (2,042), hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kontribusi positif dan signifikan antara variabel Kepemimpinan Transformasional Kepala Sekolah dengan Profesionalisme guru di SMP Swasta Muhammadiyah 01 Medan dengan bentuk hubungan linier dan prediktif melalui garis regresi Ŷ = 46,654 + 0,322 X

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Artificial intelligence (AI) is growing and starting to be applied in various aspects of English language learning, including speaking skills. In the application of the Direct Method, which emphasizes communication without translation, ChatGPT has the potential to be a support tool that can improve EFL learners' speaking skills. This study analyzes teachers' perceptions of using ChatGPT to improve EFL learners' speaking skills. Using a qualitative case study approach, the study involved 10 English teachers. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire and in-depth interviews, then analyzed using thematic analysis. The results showed that most teachers had positive opinions toward integrating ChatGPT in supporting the direct method to improve students' speaking skills. However, concerns were raised regarding teacher preparation, pedagogical effectiveness, and limited feedback. This study confirms that the success of AI integration depends on teachers' willingness to optimize its use. With the right strategies, ChatGPT can be an innovative tool that complements traditional teaching methods and improves students' conversational skills

    The teacher's role is important in increasing students' reading interest, this is because students tend to prefer playing with peers rather than reading books, especially in the modern era students use gadgets. When online, students use gadgets more often, so students prefer to play games and tick-tock rather than reading. The purpose of this study was to describe the teacher's role in increasing the reading interest of grade 3 students at SD Negeri 42 Pekanbaru, to describe the teacher's obstacles in increasing the reading interest of grade 3 students at SD Negeri 42 Pekanbaru. The research method uses descriptive qualitative research. Research subjects are teachers and school principals. Data collection uses observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the role of teachers as creators, facilitators, motivators, evaluators and dynamicators is very important to increase the reading interest of elementary school. The obstacle is that the teacher still has not carried out several roles such as the teacher has not carried out his role as creator, evaluator, dynamist completely, this is due to limited face-to-face learning, for the role of the teacher as facilitator and the teacher's role as motivator has been implemented

    Inheritance according to Islamic law regulates the principles of inheritance, terms and pillars of inheritance, heirs, and arrangements regarding the amount of inheritance received by heirs. Fundamentally related to inheritance matters have been regulated in Islamic law, but in reality not all Muslims share the inheritance with reference to the provisions regarding the distribution of inheritance in the fiqh Mawaris. Customs and habits that grow in a person's social environment, become the reason that person is bound by a law. Such as Minangkabau customary inheritance law is one area that still uses customary law as a reference for the division of inheritance. The matrilineal inheritance distribution system makes the position of the woman's party higher in terms of inheritance portion than the male's. Whereas in the syar'i texts and in what has been taught the portion of men is twice as large as women. The acceptance of custom or urf as a proposition is a form of Islamic law's attention to the customs that apply in society. Meanwhile, related to the rule of al-adah muhakkamah with custom or urf there is a dispute with the syar'i text. This journal writing method uses a normative juridical type of writing, which is a research method that uses studies and explanations in laws and materials that contain law to regulate the legal issues studied

    Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods
