Full text linkPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik di SMPN 23 Pekanbaru dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Aktivitas dan data hasil pembelajaran didapat dari data aktivitas dengan menggunakan lembaran observasi dan ulangan harian. Data yang telah di kumpulkan nilainya dianalisa secara statistik. Hasil dari pembelajaran pada siklus pertama ditemukan peserta didik yang mencapai nilai KKM pada siklus I sebanyak 15 orang dengan persentase ketercapaian KKM 37,5% dan pada siklus kedua jumlah siswa yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 18 orang dengan persentase ketercapaian KKM 45%, ini bertambah dari sebelumnya dengan jumlah siswa yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 9 orang dengan persentasi 22,5%. Penghargaan yang diterima pada siklus pertama adalah dua kelompok mendapat penghargaan baik, tujuh kelompok mendapat penghargaan hebat dan satu kelompok mendapat penghargaan super, sedangkan pada siklus kedua lima kelompok mendapat penghargaan hebat dan lima kelompok mendapat penghargaan super. Kesimpulan dari pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII b SMPN 23 Pekanbaru semester genap tahun pelajaran 2011/2012 pada materi pokok Lingkaran.

No full textThis study aims to (1) Determine the implementation of curriculum 2013 in Mathematics on SMPN of Pekanbaru, the academic year 2016/2017. (2) Knowing what obstacles faced by Mathematics teachers SMPN of Pekanbaru in the implementation of kurikulm 2013. This study is a qualitative descriptive study, which describes the implementation of the curriculum 2013 by Mathematics teachers of SMPN Pekanbaru and the constraints they face. Subjects in this study are Mathematics teachers in SMPN Pekanbaru that implementing the curriculum 2013, such as SMP 1, SMP 6 and SMP 23 Pekanbaru. The data collection by conducting surveillance documents, and interviews with Mathematics teachers. Based on data analysis, learning process based curriculum 2013 in Pekanbaru SMP has not gone well. There are some problems in the implementation of the curriculum 2013 at SMPN Pekanbaru such as, (1) Teacher have a problem to making Student Activity Sheet; (2) Lack of teacher knowledge about models, strategies, or approach about student-centered learning; and (3) Lack of understanding about the assessment of teachers especially skills assessment.</jats:p
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Berbasis Problem Based Learning pada Materi SPLDV untuk Memfasilitasi Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa SMP
Full text linkKBK harus siswa miliki pada pembelajaran abad 21 dalam mempelajari matematika. KBK juga merupakan tujuan pembelajaran matematika pada Kurikulum 2013. Rendahnya KBK dapat tergambarkan dalam materi SPLDV sehingga dibutuhkan inovasi untuk mengembangkan kemampuan KBK siswa. PBL adalah model pembelajaran yang dapat memfasilitasi KBK siswa, khususnya siswa SMP. KBK dapat terfasilitasi melalui penerapan PBLyang diwujudkan dengan membuat perangkat pembelajaran yaitu silabus, RPP, dan LAS. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan produk berupa perangkat pembelajaran materi SPLDV untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan KBK siswa. penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D dengan tahap pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop), pendiseminasian (disseminate). Pada tahap pengembangan dilakukan validasi, revisi produk dan ujicoba produk (ujicoba kelompok kecil dan besar). Subjek ujicoba pada penelitian ini adalah siswa di SMP Negeri 45 Pekanbaru. Jenis data yang dipakai pada penelitian ini yaitu data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan analisis hasil validasi, masing-masing rata-rata hasil validasi silabus, RPP dan LAS adalah  kriteria sangat valid,  kriteria sangat valid, dan  kriteria sangat valid. Rata-rata hasil kepraktisan pada ujicoba kelompok kecil adalah  kategori sangat praktis dan rata-rata hasil kepraktisan ujicoba kelompok besar adalah  kategori sangat praktis. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran berbasis PBL pada materi SPLDV untuk memfasilitasi KBK siswa SMP telah memenuhi syarat valid dan praktis
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
Full text linkWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
