The Art of Arabic Calligraphy in the Academic Environment: A Graemphemical and Sociolingistic Study in the Laboratory of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta
Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui jenis dan pesan moral serta fungsi sosiolinguistik dari kaligrafi Arab yang ada pada Laboratorium Agama Masjid UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, Metode yang digunakan yaitu penyediaan data, metode analisis data, dan metode penyajian hasil yang dilakukan dengan tiga tahap, ketiga tahapan tersebut yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaporan, hasil penelitian, jenis dan fungsi sosiolinguistik kaligrafi Arab di masjid UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, dan pesan moral apa yang ingin disampaikan kaligrafi Arab tersebut, berdasarkan analisis kaligrafi pada Laboratorium Agama Masjid UIN Sunan Kalijaga, terdapat 4 jenis khat kaligrafi yang digunakan yaitu khat Tsuluts, Riq’ah, Farisi, dan Koufi. Adapun fungsi khat kaligrafi pada masjid secara sosiolinguistik adalah sebagai alat untuk control realitas social. Menurut Crytal, bahasa berfungsi sebagai alat untuk mengelola masalah atau realitas yang mereka refleksikan. Intinya fungsi kaligrafi secara sosiolinguistik ialah sebagai interaksi sosial, kontrol realitas, pencatatan fakta, instrumen dari sebuah pemikiran, refleksi diri, dan pembelajaran adapun pesan moral pada setiap kaligrafi arab di Laboratorium Agama Masjid UIN Suna Kalijaga Yogyakarta adalah pentingnya membaca (ilmu pengetahuan), ketakwaan, berbuat baik, dan memaknai dan menyadari kekuasaan dan kebesaran Allah SWT atas apa yang diciptakan-Nya di dunia ini
The Effectiveness of Using the Visme Platform as a Learning Media to Improve the Learning Outcomes of Cultural Arts for 8th Grade Students at MTs Negeri 1 Sidenreng Rappang
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the Visme platform as a learning media to improve the learning outcomes of Cultural Arts for 8th-grade students at MTs Negeri 1 Sidenreng Rappang. This research is an experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study consists of all 8th-grade students at MTs Negeri 1 Sidenreng Rappang, totaling 263 students. The sample was determined using a random sampling technique. The research sample is class VIII.C, consisting of 30 students, and data was collected through multiple-choice tests and questionnaires to measure student learning outcomes, including mastery of learning and the timeliness in receiving the material.
The results of the study show that the use of the Visme learning media is effective in improving the learning outcomes of Cultural Arts for students in class VIII.C at MTs Negeri 1 Sidenreng Rappang. This is indicated by the paired sample T-test results, comparing pretest and posttest data, which show a significant value. Based on the analysis of the data, the average pretest score was 37.17, while the posttest score was 86.00. The N-gain test showed an average N-gain value of 76.35%. From the results of the average scores and the N-gain test, it can be concluded that learning Cultural Arts using Visme is effective in improving the learning outcomes of students in class VIII.C at MTs Negeri 1 Sidenreng Rappang
Music Learning Strategies to Develop Students’ Creativity at SMA Negeri 1 Brebes
Creative music learning strategies are essential for developing students’ creativity. One applicable approach is project-based learning, where students are given the opportunity to create their own musical works. One indicator of low student creativity in music learning is their limited ability to write song lyrics. This study is grounded in Elliot W. Eisner’s humanistic art education theory, which emphasizes the importance of self-expression, creativity, the teacher’s role as a facilitator, and qualitative assessment in the arts learning process. The research method employed is a descriptive qualitative approach using techniques such as observation, interviews, documentation, and creative task questionnaires. The results show that the music learning strategies implemented at SMA Negeri 1 Brebes enhance students’ creativity in writing song lyrics through a more structured, project-based, and collaborative approach. By providing students with space to express themselves and by improving their understanding of lyric structure and writing techniques, their creative potential can be more effectively developed. The challenges faced by teachers and students in implementing lyric-writing strategies are mainly related to the availability of facilities and the teacher’s willingness to adapt their teaching approach. These challenges can be addressed more effectively, although limited time and lack of experience remain major constraints
Implementation of E-ULT Application Innovation Diffusion as a Public Service Facility in the Integrated Service Unit of Universitas Mulawarman
This study examines the influence of exposure to the TikTok culinary account @solofoodie on followers' interest in culinary tourism. The research employed a quantitative approach with a causal inferential design. The sample consisted of 100 active followers of the @solofoodie TikTok account, selected using the Taro Yamane formula. Data were collected through an online Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results indicated a positive and statistically significant effect of TikTok exposure on culinary tourism interest, with an R² value of 0.746 and a significance level of < 0.001. The regression model obtained was Y = 0.592 + 1.131X, indicating that each additional point in TikTok exposure increases culinary interest by 1.131 points. These findings confirm that culinary content on TikTok can shape audience preferences and behavioral intentions, strengthening the relevance of the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) theory in social media
Analysis of the relocation of the Sakai Anak Dalam tribe to Madani housing in Lubuk Jering village, Air Hitam sub-district, Sarolangun regency
This research is based on the Relocation of Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) Residences in Madani Housing in Lubuk Jering Village, Air Hitam District, Sarolangun Regency. This research was conducted to analyze: 1) Characteristics of Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) in Lubuk Jering Village, Air Hitam District, 2) Inhibiting Factors for Relocation of Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) in Madani Housing in Lubuk Jering Village, Air Hitam District, 3) The Role of the Government towards Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) in Lubuk Jering Village. The type of research used is qualitative. This research was conducted in Lubuk Jering Village, Air Hitam District, Sarolangun Regency. Research informants used the Snowball Sampling technique, with Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) community leaders as key informants and Village Officials as supporting informants. Data collection and analysis were carried out using NVivo software version 15. The results of the study show: 1) The characteristics of Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) in Lubuk Jering Village are that the average livelihood is food gathering. The clothing of the Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) for men uses a loincloth (koteka) while women wear cloth (sandang). Most of the Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) have beliefs in spirits who speak Malay and kubu. 2) Factors inhibiting the relocation of the Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) in Lubuk Jering Village are influenced by the cultural tradition of melangun (a culture of leaving a residence temporarily after a family member dies), in addition to their dependence on the forest making it difficult for them to settle in one place. 3) The role of the government towards the Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) in Lubuk Jering Village provides free housing facilities and health insurance for the Suku Anak Dalam (SAD). However, these efforts have not been optimal because they are not accompanied by the provision of agricultural land. The Utilization of Bahal Portibi Temple as a Social Studies Learning Resource at SMPN 1 Halongonan
This study aims to examine the use of the Bahal Portibi Temple as a source of Social Science (IPS) learning at SMP Negeri 1 Halongonan, North Padang Lawas Regency. The Bahal Temple is a historical heritage site with high educational value and great potential for integration into the contextual learning process. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques that include observation, interviews, and documentation. The study's results demonstrate that the Bahal Temple possesses historical, cultural, and architectural values that are highly relevant to support social studies learning, particularly in aspects of local history and culture. However, its use is still limited due to limited infrastructure, low teacher awareness, and a lack of support from educational institutions. Therefore, an integrative and collaborative strategy is needed between schools, the community, and the government to optimize the use of local historical sites as an effective and meaningful learning medium
Planning and implementation of holistic-integrative early childhood education management for achieving quality services
This study aims to analyze the planning and implementation of Holistic Integrative Early Childhood Education (HI-ECE) management in achieving quality services. A qualitative approach was applied using a case study method in three ECE institutions that have implemented HI-ECE. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document review, then analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive analysis model. The findings reveal that during the planning stage, the institutions designed programs based on children’s needs assessment covering education, health, nutrition, and protection aspects, involving multi-sector stakeholders. In the implementation stage, strategies included thematic curriculum integration, regular health services, provision of nutritious meals, strengthening parental involvement, and coordination with community health centers, social services, and community organizations. However, challenges were identified, such as limited funding, lack of specialized personnel, and coordination difficulties among agencies. Improvement efforts were made through teacher capacity building, partnership strengthening, and utilization of local resources. This study highlights that the success of HI-ECE management in achieving quality services greatly depends on participatory planning, integrated implementation, and continuous support from all stakeholders
Improving Conceptual Understanding of Cell Structure and Function through Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) Model for XI Science Students at SMA N 4 BURU
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) terhadap pemahaman konsep tentang struktur dan fungsi sel pada siswa kelas XI IPA di SMA N 4 Buru. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif dan melibatkan 27 siswa sebagai peserta. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model POE secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang materi tersebut, dengan hubungan yang cukup kuat (korelasi 0,632) dan tingkat keberhasilan belajar mencapai 85%. Selain itu, respon siswa terhadap model ini sangat positif, mereka menunjukkan minat dan keterlibatan aktif selama proses belajar. Temuan ini menyarankan bahwa model POE merupakan strategi yang efektif untuk membantu siswa memahami konsep biologi, khususnya tentang struktur dan fungsi sel
Gamified interactive English HOTS e-book terintegrasi artificial intelligence: optimalisasi metacognitive, berpikir kritis dan kreatif melalui eksplorasi local wisdom Gorontalo
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan Gamified Interactive English HOTS E-Book terintegrasi Artificial Intelligence yang berfokus pada optimalisasi kemampuan metakognitif, berpikir kritis, dan kreatif melalui eksplorasi kearifan lokal Gorontalo. Pengembangan dilakukan dengan mengintegrasikan konten budaya lokal, seperti makanan tradisional, tarian, dan destinasi wisata, sebagai konteks pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang bermakna. E-book ini dilengkapi elemen gamifikasi (Kahoot, Quizizz, Mentimeter) serta dukungan AI untuk menciptakan pengalaman belajar interaktif yang berpusat pada mahasiswa. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris dan Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Universitas Pohuwato sebanyak 65 orang. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa media memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif, dengan skor rata-rata keseluruhan berada pada kategori “sangat baik” yang menegaskan efektivitas e-book dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreatif, dan metakognitif. Dengan demikian, produk ini berpotensi menjadi inovasi penting dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris berbasis budaya lokal sekaligus memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan strategi pendidikan di era digital
The Effectiveness of Using the Socrative Application on the Indonesian Language Learning Outcomes of Grade X Students at UPT SMA Negeri 4 Sidrap
This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a Posttest Only Control Group Design. The research population consisted of all 74 tenth-grade students of UPT SMA Negeri 4 Sidrap, and the sampling technique used was total sampling, thereby including the entire population as the sample. The research instruments were a 20-item multiple-choice objective test and a questionnaire. The results showed that the average posttest score of the experimental group using the Socrative application was 84.72, while the control group using conventional tests obtained an average score of 54.72. Thus, the use of the Socrative application proved effective in improving the Indonesian language learning outcomes of the tenth-grade students at UPT SMA Negeri 4 Sidrap
