    UT is a college that implement distance learning system, which provides the opportunity for prospective students to go to college but is hampered by time and space. Today has been the image of intercollegiate competition to try to perform better than competitors. One factor that can reinforce a positive image, which is one way to build brand equity or a strong brand equity, the result is to UT brand associations in the minds of consumers at an affordable price and time. While for loyalty measurement, high-switcher UT still means students have not loyal. Conslusions market share for UT still below average colleges in Bogor. Sugestions for improvement in terms of UT introduction to the community, build relationship customer management, service improvement planning and strategic targets

    PENERAPAN MODEL BRAND EQUITY TEN PADA UPBJJ-UT BOGOR

    The objectives of the study are to (1) analyze the dimensions of awareness, associations, perceived quality/leadership, loyalty, and market behavior based upon the assessment of Open University students and the public, (2) evaluate the Open University brand equity model based on brand equity ten. The time period of research was during April-July 2012 and the location was in Open University Bogor campus. The population of this study consisted of high school students, employees and students of Open University Bogor, amounting to 693,950 people. Samples of 400 people were obtained. The data is collected using survey method, whereby interviews of the sample group is conducted using a closed form questionnaire based upon the Likert scale method. Based on the results from the analysis of the measures of awareness and brand recall, the Open University got the ranking of 11th and 7th among the other universities from 2% of the respondents respectively. It was ranked 1st on the measure of recognition and unaware by 5.5% of respondents. Based on the results from the analysis of the measure of association using Cochran test, it was found that the attributes of time and cost are associated with the brand of Open University. Results from the analysis of the measure of perceived quality regarding quality of services provided by Open University to its students show that registration services rated good while study material, online tutorials and exams were assessed as fair. Result from the analysis of the price premium loyalty measures indicate that students objected to an increase in tuition over Rp.25.000,-. Satisfaction measure indicates that the level of satisfaction of the Open University students is up to the extent of liking the brand, that is like and enjoy the study at Open University. This is indicated by the highest score received for the level of liking the brand which is 70%. Result from the analysis of the measure market behavior regarding market share shows that market share of Open University is estimated to be 0.24%. Distribution coverage shows that the Open University Bogor has reached up to 89.45%. In conclusion it is found that the brand equity ten index of Open University is 42,36, which indicates that its brand equity is still low and not strong.   Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) menganalisis dimensi kesadaran, asosiasi, persepsi kualitas/kepemimpinan, loyalitas, dan perilaku pasar berdasarkan penilaian mahasiswa Universitas Terbuka dan masyarakat, (2) mengevaluasi merek model ekuitas Universitas Terbuka berdasarkan merek ekuitas sepuluh. Jangka waktu penelitian adalah selama April-Juli 2012 dan lokasi di Universitas Terbuka kampus Bogor. Populasi penelitian ini terdiri dari siswa SMA, karyawan dan mahasiswa Universitas Terbuka Bogor, berjumlah 693.950 orang. Sampel dari 400 orang diperoleh. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan metode survei, dimana wawancara dari kelompok sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner bentuk tertutup berdasarkan metode skalaLikert. Berdasarkan hasil dari analisis tindakan kesadaran dan ingat merek, Universitas Terbuka mendapat peringkat 11 dan ke-7 di antara universitas lain dari 2% dari responden masing-masing. Ini peringkat 1 pada ukuran pengakuan dan menyadari 5,5% responden. Berdasarkan hasil dari analisis ukuran asosiasi menggunakan uji Cochran, ditemukan bahwa atribut waktu dan biaya yang terkait dengan merek Universitas Terbuka. Hasil dari analisis ukuran persepsi kualitas mengenai kualitas layanan yang diberikan oleh Universitas Terbuka untuk mahasiswa menunjukkan bahwa layanan pendaftaran dinilai baik saat materi studi, tutorial online dan ujian dinilai sebagai adil. Hasil dari analisis harga tindakan loyalitas premium menunjukkan bahwa siswa keberatan dengan kenaikan biaya kuliah lebih Rp.25.000,-. Mengukur kepuasan menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa Universitas Terbuka adalah sampai sejauh mana menyukai merek, yaitu seperti dan menikmati studi di Universitas Terbuka. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai tertinggi yang diterima untuk tingkat menyukai merek yang 70%. Hasil dari analisis perilaku pasar ukuran mengenai pangsa pasar menunjukkan bahwa pangsa pasar dari Universitas Terbuka diperkirakan 0,24%. Cakupan distribusi menunjukkan bahwa Universitas Terbuka Bogor telah mencapai hingga 89,45%. Dalam kesimpulan ditemukan bahwa indeks ekuitas merek sepuluh dari Universitas Terbuka adalah 42,36, yang menunjukkan bahwa ekuitas mereknya masih rendah dan tidak kuat

    A lack of bureaucracy community satisfaction in public service at the level of service and villages was the stigma impression of government apparatus received from the community for urban village. The residents’ satisfaction against public services from village influenced factor by responsiveness, credibility and empathy. Communities are satisfied with the services provided by officials in urban village, in providing services to the community. The method used in this research descriptive explanatory, are outlining and explaining the service, satisfaction toward society. The research survey used 200 respondents from 7 urban villages purposive through sampling methods and the kind of data supporting by primary and secondary data. Secondary data obtained and was gathered from various literature, book, a journal, the thesis and data from the internet that are considered relevant While the primary data was obtained through a method of surveying, namely by giving the research questionnaire in south of Tangerang. Instrument used in the analysis is spss and shem lisrel. Measurement of data done in this research used 1-5 likert scale. The results of this research proves that people feel that the officers being disciplined in providing services (x25), officers will always be in place to provide services (x26), in addition they felt easy to contact officers (x29). Some people feel the counter complaints service in the form of suggestions box just a display there have been no a follow-up (x33). The first hypothesis is: the impact on service satisfaction (accepted; 2.31>1,96). They felt the officers have to work in accordance with discipline time (x34). The target completion of conformity work received after the resident complained (x36) dependability and residents see the officers in (x39) does the work, in addition the officers can work together with colleagues (x40), and also has the initiative in work (x41). But, on the other hand, in carrying out the work, residents still seeing officers has not been fully worked with neat and minutely (x35). From this research, it can be concluded that the performance impact on the satisfaction of (the second hypothesis is accepted; 3,21> & gt; 1,96).     Perkembangan dan pertumbuhan wilayah otonomi di Indonesia semakin pesat, hal ini dapat dibuktikan terutama di kota Banten melalui daerah pemekaran baru dari Kabupaten Tangerang yang bernama kota Tangerang Selatan baru berdaulat selama 4 tahun. Geografi Kota Tangerang Selatan tidak cukup luas namun memiliki penduduk yang cukup banyak dikarenakan Kota Tangerang Selatan salah satu kota penyangga ibukota Metropolitan Jakarta. Heterogenitas dari pertumbuhan penduduk sangat berpengaruh dengan layanan yang akan diberikan pemerintah daerah setempat dalam mengoptimalkan kualitas layanan. Kinerja layanan birokrasi yang sangat pelik membuat kesan dan asosiasi negative masyarakat dengan pelayanan yang telah diberikan. Sungguh menjadi suatu paradok dan persoalan yang kompleks bagi pimpinan organisasi publik jika harus dituntut untuk membandingkan dengan organisasi swasta. Tantangan yang dihadapi oleh pimpinan organisasi publik diharapkan mampu mengembangkan komptensi suatu organisasi secara efektif, efesien, akuntabilitas dan responsif serta transparansi. Lingkungan pelayanan organisasi publik tidak luput dari aspek politis dan dimiliki pihak sebagai pemangku kepentingan yang bersifat heterogen. Kesan kurang baik terhadap layanan administrasi dalam lini organisasi publik sampai pada tingkat kelurahan. Kantor Kelurahan sebagai ujung tombak pemerintah pusat perlu berbenah diri dari sisi kecukupan, kemampuan dan kinerja sumberdaya manusia dalam melayani keperluan dan kebutuhan masyarakat agar masyarakat dapat terpuaskan oleh layanan SDM Kelurahan. Dari identifikasi di atas dapat di analisa oleh peneliti untuk menjawab persoalan dan mencari solusinya. Peneliti mencoba membuat dan menerapkan model yang ideal dengan alat yang digunakan melalui SPSS dan Metode SEM Lisrel. Harapannya hasil dari penelitian dapat dikontribusi dan di implementasikan kepada organisasi layanan publik kelurahan di wilayah Tangerang Selatan

    Pengaruh Komitmen Organisasi Dan Kepemimpinan Transformasional Terhadap Perilaku Kewargaan Organisasi(Organizational Citizenship Behavior) Pada Karyawan Universitas Terbuka

    Adapun penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menganalisis pengaruh komitmen organisasi terhadap perilaku kewargaan organisasi (Organizational Citizenship Behavior) pada karyawan Universitas Terbuka; (2) menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap perilaku kewargaan organisasi (Organizational Citizenship Behavior) pada karyawan Universitas Terbuka; (3) menganalisis pengaruh komitmen organisasi dan kepemimpinan transformasional secara bersama-sama terhadap perilaku kewargaan organisasi (Organizational Citizenship Behavior) pada karyawan Universitas Terbuka. Penelitian ini dilakukan mulai bulan April sampai dengan Oktober 2013 dan dilaksanakan di Universitas Terbuka yang terletak di jalan Cabe Raya, Pondok Cabe, Tangerang Selatan. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder dan primer. Data sekunder diperoleh dan dikumpulkan dari berbagai literatur, buku, jurnal, tesis dan data dari internet yang dianggap relevan. Sedangkan data primer diperoleh melalui metode survei, yaitu dengan menyebarkan kuesioner di lokasi penelitian. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 101 orang karyawan di UT Pusat dengan metode random sampling. Data dianalisis dengan analisis regresi berganda dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 17.00 for windows. Hasil uji validitas pada seluruh pertanyaan adalah lebih besar dari r Tabel pada selang kepercayaan 95% yaitu 0.367 (rtabel pada n = 29 dan α = 0.05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semua pertanyaan adalah signifikan dan dapat dinyatakan valid. Berarti responden mengerti maksud dari setiap pertanyaan yang diajukan peneliti dalam kuesioner. Dari hasil uji reliabilitas diperoleh Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0.933. Nilai tersebut berarti bahwa instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sangat reliabel. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Komitmen organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku kewargaan organisasi (Organizational Citizenship Behavior); (2) kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku kewargaan organisasi (Organizational Citizenship Behavior); (3) komitmen organisasi dan kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh signifikan secara bersama-sama terhadap perilaku kewargaan organisasi (Organizational Citizenship Behavior). Sebagai rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan hubungan antara komitmen organisasi dan kepemimpinan transformasional di UT, maka pimpinan perlu menanamkan rasa bangga pada karyawan, memberi teladan yang baik dan komunikatif dengan karyawan

    This quantitative study examines the development of competitive strategies for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, focusing on the influence of various strategies on competitive performance. This study evaluates the effectiveness of five main strategies: Cost Leadership, Differentiation,. Sample data were collected from 265 MSME respondents in Papua through a structured questionnaire that was analyzed using the Amos Structural Equation Model (SEM) to determine the relationship between these strategies and competitive performance. The results show that Cost leadership has a significant effect on overall Competitive Performance, as well as Differentiation strategy has a significant effect on Competitive Performance, thus providing insight into how MSMEs can optimize their strategic approach to increase growth and position in the market. This study emphasizes the importance of strategic management in strengthening the resilience of MSMEs, especially in the face of increasingly fierce competition and technological advances

    The Impact of Agile Leadership on Job Stress and Job Satisfaction: An Approach to Improving Employee Performance

    This study examines the relationship between the Agile Leadership development model, job stress, job satisfaction, and employee performance in distance higher education organizations. As the dynamics of the digital era force companies to adapt quickly, agile leadership becomes the key to improving organizational effectiveness. This study aims to explore the effect of Agile Leadership on job stress, job satisfaction, and employee performance, and how these three factors are interrelated. Using a quantitative approach and survey method on educators at Universitas Terbuka, the results of the study show that Agile Leadership has a significant effect on job stress, which in turn affects employee job satisfaction and performance. In addition, job satisfaction has been shown to have a positive effect on performance, which reinforces the importance of a flexible and adaptive leadership approach amidst uncertainty. These findings are expected to contribute to the development of a more agile and effective organizational model, as well as provide insight for managers and leaders in facing challenges in this fast-paced era

    The dynamics of the era of disruption have an impact on the industrial world and the business world, which requires companies to adapt to the environment. The speed of information technology creates intense competition and competition among companies to gain market share and become a market leader. The Open University (UT) is a higher education institution that has been implementing distance learning since 1984. To facilitate its services, UT has a Distance Learning Program Unit (UPBJJ) which is a UT technical implementation unit spread across every province. It has the task of carrying out administrative and public relations activities as well as promotion. Carry out learning assistance service activities and teaching material services which include implementing tutorials and extracurriculars, developing, fostering, and carrying out collaborations with various agencies. This requires human resources to perform. Agile leadership is a leadership style that seeks to remove obstacles to success so that employees can be more effective and productive. The research methodology used a quantitative approach, the population in the study was around 2,300 UT employees with a sample of 130 employees through a positive random sampling approach, the instrument was a 5-scale questionnaire, ranging from negative statements that strongly disagree to positive statements that strongly agree. The results showed that AL had a significant positive effect on Work Stress, WS had a significant positive effect on Job satisfaction, Job Satisfaction had a positive significant effect on Innovation, AL had a positive effect on Employee Performance, WS had a positive effect on Employee Performance, Job satisfaction had a positive effect on Employee Performance, Innovation employees have a positive effect on employee performance.Keywords: Agile Leadership, Job Stress, Job Satisfaction on Employee PerformanceAbstrak: Dinamika Era distrupsi mempunyai dampak dalam dunia industry dan dunia usaha yang menuntuk perusahaan harus beradaptasi dengan lingkungan. Hal ini dibutuhkan SDM yang berkinerja. Agile leadership adalah gaya kepemimpinan yang berusaha menghilangkan hambatan menuju kesuksesan sehingga karyawan dapat lebih efektif dan produktif. Metodologi penelitian ini dengan pendekatan kuatitatif, populasi dalam penelitian sekitan 2300 karyawan UT dengan sampel 130 karyawan melaui pendekatan perposiv random sampling, intrumen dengan kuesioner 5 skala liket mulai dari pernyataan Negatif sangat tidak setuju sampai dengan positif sangat setuju. Hasil penelitian menunjukan AL berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Work Stress, WS berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Kepuasan kerja, Kepuasan Kerja positif berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Inovasi, AL berpengaruh positif terhadap Kinerja Karyawan, WS berpengaruh positif terhadap Kinerja Karyawan, Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap Kinerja Karyawan, Inovasi karyawan berpengaruh positif terhadap Kinerja Karyawan.
