REVITALISASI KEARIFAN LOKAL DALAM PENDIDIKAN DASAR
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjawab persoalan (1) bagaimana wujud revitalisasi kearifan lokal di tingkat pendidikan dasar; (2) mengapa materi kearifan lokal diberikan pada pendidikan tingkat dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Data diperoleh dari kajian pustaka dan observasi. Metode analisis data menggunakan metode analisis data kualitatif. Peneliti mencermati aspek pendidikan dasar dan kearifan lokal secara terminologis. Keduanya diletakkan sebagai satu kesatuan yang saling terhubung secara konseptual. Hubungan logis yang terbingkai secara konseptual tersebut selanjutnya dianalisis dan digunakan untuk menjawab persoalan yang telah diajukan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa nilai kearifan lokal ditempatkan secara terintegral dengan seluruh materi pembelajaran. Alasan kearifan lokal penting diberikan pada tingkat pendidikan dasar agar peserta didik tidak kehilangan nilai dasar kulturalnya, tidak kehilangan akar sejarahnya serta memiliki wawasan dan pengetahuan atas penyikapan realitas sosial dan lingkungannya secara kultural
Pendekatan literasi musik: Upaya mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa pendidikan guru sekolah dasar tentang keragaman budaya musik Indonesia
Bagi mahasiswa pendidikan guru sekolah dasar, pembelajaran musik menjadi matakuliah wajib yang harus dituntaskan. Dalam masyarakat multikultural, siswa pendidikan guru sekolah dasar harus memahami khasanah musik Indonesia secara baik. Persoalannya adalah mahasiswa pendidikan guru sekolah dasar tidak secara spesifik mengambil jurusan musik, sehingga rata-rata mereka tidak memiliki pengetahuan literasi musik secara memadai. Perspektif literasi musik tradisional ini dimaksudkan untuk membantu mahasiswa sekolah dasar dalam memahami hubungan antara musik tradisional dan pendidikan musik multikultural. Signifikansi penelitian ini terletak pada pentingnya perspektif literasi musik tradisional dalam membantu semua mahasiswa pendidikan guru sekolah dasar dalam mengkonstruksi pengetahuan tentang musik tradisional Indonesia. Berpijak pada persoalan tersebut, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa pendidikan guru sekolah dasar dalam kaitannya dengan keragaman budaya musik Indonesia dengan pendekatan literasi musik. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, dan wawancara. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi data-data pengetahuan musik tradisi, respon pengindraan musik, hingga perhatian mahasiswa terhadap fenomena musik tradisi disekitarnya. Hasil klasifikasi ketiga jenis data tersebut selanjutnya dianalisis dengan pendekatan literasi musik. Hasilnya adalah bahwa pendekatan literasi musik tradisional dapat membantu mahasiswa pendidikan guru sekolah dasar dalam mengkonstruksi pengetahuan tentang musik tradisional Indonesia. Kontribusi penelitian ini terletak pada pembentukan perspektif baru tentang pentingnya peningkatan literasi musik tradisional Indonesia sebagai upaya untuk melestarikan identitas dan semangat multikultural bagi calon guru sekolah dasar di Indonesia.
Music literacy approach: An effort to find out the perceptions of elementary school teacher education students about the diversity of Indonesian music culture
Abstract: For elementary school teacher education students, learning music is a compulsory subject that must be completed. In a multicultural society, elementary school teachers' education students must understand the repertoire of Indonesian music well. The problem is that elementary school teacher education students do not specifically major in music, so on average, they do not have adequate knowledge of musical literacy. This traditional music literacy perspective is intended to assist elementary school students in understanding the relationship between traditional music and multicultural music education. The significance of this research lies in the importance of the traditional music literacy perspective in helping all elementary school teacher education students in constructing knowledge about Indonesian traditional music. Based on these problems, this study aims to determine the perceptions of elementary school teacher education students in relation to the diversity of Indonesian music culture with a musical literacy approach. Data was obtained through observation and interviews. The data collected includes data on knowledge of traditional music, musical sense responses, and students' attention to the phenomenon of traditional music around them. The results of the classification of the three types of data are then analyzed using a musical literacy approach. The result is that the traditional music literacy approach can help elementary school teachers educate students in constructing knowledge about Indonesian traditional music. The contribution of this research lies in the formation of a new perspective on the importance of increasing literacy in traditional Indonesian music as an effort to preserve the identity and multicultural spirit of prospective elementary school teachers in Indonesia.Bagi mahasiswa pendidikan guru sekolah dasar, pembelajaran musik menjadi matakuliah wajib yang harus dituntaskan. Komposisi Ekstensya for String Orchestra: Studi eksperimental penciptaan musik sebagai strategi pendidikan apresiasi musik klasik di Indonesia
Penciptaan komposisi Ekstensya for String Orchestra karya Setyawan Jayantoro bermula dari observasi. Sebagai seorang komposer, Setyawan Jayantoro melihat perjalanan apresiasi musik klasik Barat di Indonesia yang memiliki segmentasi terbatas. Kajian dalam penciptaan musik ini bertujuan untuk mengkritisi keberadaan musik klasik Barat di Indonesia dalam perspektif umum yang seringkali dipahami dengan kesadaran apresiasi yang kurang tepat. Melalui studi eksperimental, metode penciptaan musik ini menggunakan sejumlah pola kreatif yang merujuk pada sejarah musik Klasik Barat dan kontekstualisasinya dengan cita rasa subjektif komposer sebagai orang Indonesia. Transisi keberagaman gaya dalam lintasan perjalanan musik klasik menjadi stimulasi kreativitas penciptaan musik yang paling mendasar. Metode tersebut mengintegrasikan kombinasi cita rasa dari era-era musik klasik, seperti gaya Barok dan Romantik dengan sentuhan Pop hingga Rock. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Ekstensya for String Orchestra dapat menjadi salah satu strategi pengembangan model pendidikan apresiasi musik klasik untuk masyarakat awam melalui penciptaan musik. Kombinasi estetika musik Barok, Romantik, Pop, dan Rock yang dibingkai dalam semangat kekinian mampu memberikan kontribusi positif bagi terciptanya alternatif pendidikan apresiasi musik klasik di Indonesia.

TRENDS IN THE UTILIZATION OF AUGMENTED REALITY AS A LEARNING TOOL FOR STUDENTS IN INDONESIAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS
Learners are currently growing up in the digital era, they will meet digital technology in the family environment and even the community. Schools need to strive for technological updates to facilitate learners. The aim of this study is to analyze scientific articles to gather resources related to the use of Augmented Reality as a learning medium for student. The approach employed in this article is a literature review. The literature review analysis method employed is descriptive systematic review. The criteria for scientific articles used are sourced from international journals with the latest 5 years from 2019-2025. This article analyzes six articles from ScienceDirect. The results of the analysis of 6 scientific articles obtained more developed types of research and development research and literature review than other types of research. The analysis of these journals reveals that the use of Augmented Reality as a learning medium has both positive and negative effects on students and educational institutions. Despite its drawbacks or potentional negative impacts, with proper management, Augmented Reality learning media can serve as an effective solution for elementary school education in Indonesia. This is due to the ability of Augmented Reality to enhance students’ motivation and interest in learning. Future research is encouraged to explore the use of Augmented Reality as a learning medium for elementary school students in Indonesia through qualitative, quantitative, and research and development metodologies
The COVID-19 impact crisis communication model using gending jawa local wisdom
Pandemic COVID-19 is a new epidemic that is sweeping the world with a high level of fatal potential. The role of communication is vital as a response to global health disasters. Thus, the communication network and information dissemination process about COVID-19 need to be expanded as a disaster mitigation effort. The question is how information dissemination can be done, whereas, on the other hand, a person is prohibited from crowding and having physical meetings. Based on this question, this research was conducted to obtain a crisis communication model and what strategies are used in communicating it. This study aims to find a COVID-19 impact crisis communication model using the local wisdom of Gending Jawa in Ngandong Village. Â Gending Jawa is Javanese traditional music, also known as Karawitan. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with a simulation with the leaders and members of the Jati Art Studio, community leaders/religious leaders, and village officials. The results of this study are in the form of the discovery of a COVID-19 impact crisis communication model using the local wisdom of Gending Jawa. The contribution of this research is the COVID-19 crisis communication, model whose results can be used or applied to other communities
Optimizing the role of angklung artists as teaching practitioners in extracurricular learning angklung music in elementary schools
The Angklung music extracurricular activities are one of the activities that students at school are interested in. Teaching artists play a role in helping the process of extracurricular angklung music activities so that students gain knowledge of playing angklung music correctly. This research aims to determine the role of angklung artists as teaching practitioners in extracurricular learning of angklung music and to determine efforts to optimize the role of angklung artists as teaching practitioners in extracurricular learning of angklung music at Muhammadiyah Trini Elementary School. The type of research used is qualitative research. The subjects in this research were angklung artists as practitioners teaching extracurricular angklung music at Muhammadiyah Trini Elementary School. The object of this research is extracurricular learning of angklung music at Muhammadiyah Trini Elementary School, which includes the role of angklung artists as teaching practitioners towards student development in extracurricular angklung music, as well as efforts to optimize the role of angklung artists as teaching practitioners. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show that the role of angklung artists as practitioners at Muhammadiyah Trini Elementary School motivates students to continue learning and practicing in extracurricular activities. Apart from that, students' abilities and skills in the field of angklung music are increasing with the presence of angklung artists as practitioners in the class. This study contributes to a broader understanding of artist-led music education and highlights the potential of integrating local cultural arts into educational settings to enrich students' musical abilities and cultural appreciation
A Systematic Literature Review and Bibliometric Analysis of Developing Music as A Foundation for Health Communication
This research will serve as a major source of information for scientists who specialize in the study of health communication, particularly that related to music’s role. This study aims to assess how the field of research on the role of music in health communication has developed. The Scopus database was searched using the keywords “music” and “health communication” to find 904 documents containing this study’s data. After that, the author offers search parameters by only including publications in English-language journals between 2014 and 2022. As a result of these limitations, 300 document results were found that matched the required criteria. The VOSviewer and Bibliometric software were used to process the data. This research found that music has a significant role in health communication, particularly when it comes to issues involving mental health, such as depression, dementia, and anxiety in both adults and children. In the future, this research can be developed regarding how health communication can be developed through media intermediaries other than music
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
