    HUBUNGAN PERHATIAN ORANG TUA DENGAN KEMATANGAN KARIR SISWA SMK SWASTA AL-MAKSUM STABAT

    This study is aimed to knowing the correlation between parental attention with students’ career maturity SMK Swasta Al-Maksum Stabat. The hypothesis that submitted was, there is positive correlation between parental attention with students’ career maturity with assuming that the higher parental attention the higher  career maturity. Where the sample of this study was the students of class X and XI SMK Swasta Al-Maksum Stabat with the population were 422 students and the sample were 105 students that got by using proportional random sampling technique. The data collection was did by using Likert Scale that includes of two scales, there are scale parental attention and career maturity scale. The data analysis method that used was Multiple Regression Analysis. From result of data analysis found that there is a significance of positive correlation between parental attention with career maturity students’ of SMK Swasta Al-Maksum Stabat, that is shown by coefficient F= 59,299 and P < 0,05.Parental attention gives the contribute to career maturity as much as 54,5%

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara locus of control internal dan perhatian orang tua dengan kematangan karir pada siswa SMK swasta Al-Maksum Stabat. Hipotesis yang di ajukan adalah ada hubungan positif antara locus of control internal dan perhatian orang tua dengan kematangan karir dengan asumsi bahwa semakin tinggi locus of control internal dan perhatian orang tua maka semakin tinggi kematangan karirnya. Dimana yang menjadi sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X dan XI SMK swasta Al-Maksum Stabat dengan populasi sebanyak 422 siswa dan sampel sebanyak 105 siswa yang diperoleh melalui teknik propotional random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala Likert yang terdiri dari tiga skala yaitu skala locus of control internal, skala perhatian orang tua dan skala kematangan karir. Metode analisa data yang digunakan adalah Analisis Regresi Berganda. Dari hasil analisis data ditemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara locus of control internal dan perhatian orang tua dengan kematangan karir siswa SMK swasta Al-Maksum Stabat, yang ditunjukan dengan koefisien nilai F= 59,299 dan nilai p < 0,05. Secara bersama-sama locus of control internal dan perhatian orang tua terhadap kematangan karir sebesar 56,3% hal ini berarti masih terdapat 43,7% faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi kematangan karir. Secara terpisah locus of control internal memberikan kontribusi terhadap kematangan karir sebesar 11,8 %.     Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    Development of Smart Tree Learning Media for Ethnic Diversity Material to Increase Learning Motivation in Students

    This research is motivated by learning that still tends to use the method of explaining in the material on the theme of Environment learning objectives that have yet to be achieved optimally, affecting the effectiveness of student learning. One of the efforts that can be used is through smart tree learning media. This research uses research and Development (R&amp;D) research methodology. Smart Tree Learning Media is carried out based on ADDIE development steps. Populusi in this study were 20 SD Negeri grade IV students 105286 Tandam Hilir 1. The results showed; (1) the material expert validity test got a score of 92% and was very well qualified, (2) The validity test of media experts got a score of 86.67% and was of very good qualifications, (3) the validity test of Class IV Teachers got a score of 90% was in very good qualifications, (4) individual trials got a score of 91.11% were in very good qualifications, Small Group trials got 90.13% were in very good qualifications, Large Group trials got 88% scores were in very good qualifications. The results showed a significant difference between students\u27 learning outcomes using thematic Smart Tree learning media and conventional learning media

    Variations on the Author

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Penerapan Kurikulum 2013 telah diterapkan, namun terdapat berbagai kendala teknis, seperti pelaksanaan pembelajaran, ketersediaan media, alat, serta bahan ajar yang belum memadai. Selain itu, pemahaman guru khususnya dalam pengembangan LKPD masih perlu ditingkatkan. Hal ini menjadi permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra di SD Negeri 054914 Kota Lama Secanggang. Guru-guru belum mampu mengembangkan LKPD dalam mendukung implementasi Kurikulum 2013 secara optimal. Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada guru dalam menyusun LKPD berbasis Scientific Approach guna mendukung pembelajaran berbasis saintifik. Kegiatan ini melibatkan guru-guru SD Negeri 054914 Kota Lama Secanggang sebagai mitra. Solusi yang diterapkan melalui kegiatan pelatihan IST (In-Service Training) dan OST (On-Service Training). Adapun hasil yang dicapai dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah: 1) Peningkatan kompetensi guru SD Negeri 054914 Kota Lama Secanggang dalam merancang dan menyusun bahan ajar berbasis Scientific Approach. 2) Tersusunnya LKPD berbasis Scientific Approach sebagai penunjang pembelajaran

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods
