Full text linkThe ebb and flow of Pancasila Economic theorization illustrates the shift in direction when Capitalist Economics and Post Liberal Economics influenced the thinking of Indonesian society, where profit became the main focus. In this context, Sri-Edi Swasono offers the concept of Pancasila development that does not face conflicts between large and small economies, and protects small, medium and micro enterprises. Sri-Edi Swasono agrees that the Pancasila Economy is sourced from Indonesian customs (collectivism), guides the nation's struggle, and is oriented towards the precepts of Pancasila, characterizing it as a Socialist Economy.
This research uses qualitative methods, focusing on character studies with primary data sources in the form of Sri-Edi Swasono's works between 2005 and 2013, and secondary data from books or previous research related to the character's thoughts. Data analysis is carried out through inventory, critical evaluation, and synthesis, with an epistemological approach and analytical descriptive analysis techniques and content analysis.
The concept of Pancasila-based development according to Sri Edi Swasono includes nationality, populism, environment, and economic democracy. Nationality emphasizes the importance of national interests without excluding global responsibility. Democracy emphasizes the welfare of the people and the role of social institutions in improving welfare. The relevance of this thinking to the philosophical values of Sharia Economic Law involves the absolute owner is the right of Allah swt., the economy as a field of worship, mutual freedom, brotherhood, justice, and consensus deliberation, with the aim of achieving prosperity

Sri Edi Swasono mengajarkan bahwa konsep koperasi disusun sebagai usaha bersama berdasarkan atas asas kekeluargaan. Hal ini sesuai dengan konsep islam karena pada prinsipnya memiliki kesesuaian dengan bentuk kerjasama ekonomi (syirkah) dalam islam yang menekankan prinsip kerjasama, tolong menolong (ta’awun) dan persaudaraan (ukhuwah), sehingga koperasi di kategorikan sebagai syirkah t’aawunyyah

Full text linkKoperasi yang dalam UUD 1945 secara tegas ditetapkan sebagai salah satu perekonomian tidak mempunyai peran yang cukup berarti. Di masa orde baru koperasi memasuki era kekelaman, karena perannya selalu dianak tirikan. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh keberadaan koperasi dibanding komponen perekonomian yang lain, yaitu BUMN dan swasta. Kegiatan perekonomian sebanyak 86% dikuasai swasta, 12% dikuasai BUMN dan sisanya oleh koperasi (Sri Edi Swasono, 1987:56)
