No full textThe paper puts forward an approach to the study of the role of the convergent media system in the social production of urban space. By focusing on controversies around the definition of “urban space”, processes of strategic use of media become more visible. Therefore a case of urban conflict was selected; specifically, the paper examines the 2007 incident known as “the Milan Chinese riots” which saw migrants clash with the police as ultimately motivated by a conflict around definition of “space”. Through ethnography, interviews and content analysis, the paper reconstructs the practices and representations enacted by all involved social actors in the effort of producing competing representations of the self and of urban space

Spazi del desiderio tra architettura e psicoanalisi
No full textQuesto libro prende le mosse da dialoghi sulle possibili interferenze tra architettura e psicoanalisi intorno al fuoco della nozione di “desiderio”. I diversi autori danno forma alle trame del desiderio nei reticoli della mente, alla trasposizione iconologica di un soggetto immateriale, al pensare architettura traducendo in spazio ciò che appare più intangibile.
Il paesaggio delle posizioni raccolte restituisce vie effettive e possibili del desiderio costringendolo nei binari della macchinazione dei campi del sapere dell’architettura e della psicoanalisi che molto hanno in comune. Seppur distanti per tecniche e metodologie, entrambe le discipline s’incontrano nello spazio nascosto del pensiero e in quello concreto della realtà.

No full textThe querela inofficiosi testamenti represents the earliest historical antecedent of the modern concept of forced heirship. Through this legal instrument, the closest relatives of a testator could challenge and nullify a will from which they had been unjustly excluded, thereby initiating intestate succession. This article first traces the scholarly trajectory that led Matteo Marrone, in the mid-20th century, to reconstruct the legal framework of this action as developed in Roman law from the pre-classical to the classical period. It then outlines the structure of his Course of Lessons, published in 1962 in Palermo as a monographic course intended for students of Roman law. The purpose of the paper is to illustrate the reasons behind the new edition of this Course, now made accessible to a broader audience of scholars in inheritance law, both historical and contemporary
