No full textThe article presents the figure of Helmut E. Luck, well-known scientist in the world of historians of psychology. Helmut E. Luck also is well-known in Poland, as the author or the scientific editor of several books in the field of history of psychology. In the first part of the article the short presentation of his scientific career and his scientific achievements are demonstrated. The second part comprises the analysis of his opinions in the scope of social psychology. Helmut E. Luck was the one of pioneers in psychology, who paid attention to social positive phenomena or social positive behaviors. In the field of history of psychology, H.E.Luck made the contribution to methodological analysis of psychological ideas in history, preferring the model which underlines connection of psychology with culture and at the same time creates the opportunity to analysis of biographical plots. The article also shows unquestionable and unusually merits of Luck’s in popularization of knowledge about history of psychology.The article presents the figure of Helmut E. Detektion von Merkmalen in 3D-Gesichtsrekonstruktionen
No full textIn der biometrischen Gesichtserkennung kommen 3D - Rekonstruktionssysteme zum Einsatz, die eine berührungslose Erfassung der Gesichtsform mit einer großen Menge an 3D Punkten erlauben. Zur effektiven Verarbeitung dieser Daten ist eine semantische Zuordnung von Messpunkten zu der bekannten anatomischen Struktur des Gesichts erforderlich. Im Bereich der Anthropometrie und in technischen Standards sind Landmarken auf der Gesichtsoberfläche definiert, die sich an dieser Struktur orientieren und die Form und Variabilität des Gesichts beschreiben. In dieser Arbeit wird ein Verfahren vorgestellt das für 3D-Rekonstruktionen von beliebigen Gesichtern eine automatisierte Detektion von 11 solcher Landmarken durch Nutzung intrinsischer Oberflächenparameter ermöglicht. Die Landmarkenlokalisierung erfolgt durch Anpassung eines allgemeinen Landmarkenmodells, das auf den lokalen Krümmungseigenschaften der Landmarken basiert. Die Krümmungsanalyse der Oberfläche erfolgt mit Hilfe der eingebetteten Weingartenmatrix und die Krümmungsähnlichkeit wird als Übereinstimmungskriterium der Oberflächenpartien verwendet. Um die Funktionalität und Robustheit des Verfahrens zu überprüfen, wurden Versuche durchgeführt, in den getestet wurde, ob in verschiedenen Gesichtsrekonstruktionen derselben Person die lokalisierte Positionen der Landmarken Übereinstimmen und ob die Variation der Startposition der Suche einen signifikanten Einfluss auf die Effizienz der Lokalisierung hat. Für die Landmarken in Bereichen, die sich mit einem gleichmäßigen Krümmungsverlauf charakterisieren, werden dieselben Merkmalspunkte lokalisiert, auch unabhängig vom Anfangspunkt. In Landmarkenumgebungen mit einer ungleichförmigen Oberflächenbeschaffenheit dagegen, können sich Störungen in den Eingabedaten signifikant auf die Ergebnisse auswirken. Im Allgemeinen ist die Detektion von 3 bis 5 Landmarken in jeder Gesichtsrekonstruktion erfolgreich, wobei bei den restlichen das Ergebnis von der Empfindlichkeit der Krümmungsapproximation gegenüber Messstörungen, in Abhängigkeit von der Oberflächenstruktur, beeinflusst wird
