    ENGLISH: Clary Fray is the main character in the novel The Mortal Instrument: City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. The novel has the change in the character traits. The character changes from a feminine character to a brave masculine figure like a formidable knight. The purpose of this study was 1) To describe the masculinity traits of Clary Fray in the novel The Mortal Instrument: City of Bones 2) To describe the femininity traits of Clary Fray in The Mortal Instrument: City of Bones. The type of this research method is descriptive qualitative research, where research is descriptive (describes) which uses the literary criticism method. The data source of this research is obtained from the novel The Mortal Instrument: City of Bones that was published by Margaret K. Mc Elderry Books in 2007. The analysis is done through the elaboration of the problem formulation which will be discussed with the theoretical concept of Sandra L Berm. The theory relates to aspects of Masculinity and Femininity that are relevant to the character of Clary Fray. The results showed that, 1) the traits of masculinity from Clary Fray in the way she behaves which is shown by the expressions, and also the actions of characters such as brave (knight), expert in weapons and fighting, intellectual ability, competent in taking risk and independent. 2) Clary Fray as the main character in the novel The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones also has the traits of femininity which is her initial and standard nature, including being aware of other people's feelings, interested in her own appearance, and sensitive to the needs of others. INDONESIA: Clary Fray adalah tokoh utama dalam novel The Mortal Instrument: City of Bones karya Cassandra Clare. Novel ini mengalami perubahan karakter tokoh. Karakter berubah dari karakter feminim menjadi sosok maskulin pemberani seperti ksatria yang tangguh. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) Mendeskripsikan ciri-ciri maskulinitas Clary Fray dalam novel The Mortal Instrument: City of Bones 2) Mendeskripsikan ciri-ciri feminitas Clary Fray dalam The Mortal Instrument: City of Bones. Jenis metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, dimana penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif (mendeskripsikan) yang menggunakan metode kritik sastra. Sumber data penelitian ini diperoleh dari novel The Mortal Instrument: City of Bones yang diterbitkan oleh Margaret K. McElderry Books pada tahun 2007. Analisis dilakukan melalui penjabaran rumusan masalah yang akan dibahas dengan konsep teoritis Sandra L Berm. Teori tersebut berkaitan dengan aspek Maskulinitas dan Feminitas yang relevan dengan karakter Clary Fray. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, 1) ciri-ciri maskulinitas dari Clary Fray dalam cara berperilaku yang ditunjukkan oleh ekspresi, serta tindakan karakter seperti pemberani (ksatria), ahli dalam senjata dan pertempuran, kemampuan intelektual, kompeten dalam mengambil risiko dan mandiri. 2) Clary Fray sebagai tokoh utama dalam novel The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones juga memiliki ciri-ciri feminitas yang merupakan sifat awal dan bakunya, antara lain peka terhadap perasaan orang lain, tertarik pada penampilannya sendiri, dan peka terhadap kebutuhan orang lain.     Liquidity and capital structure

    We examine the relation between equity market liquidity and capital structure. We find that firms with more liquid equity have lower leverage and prefer equity financing when raising capital. For example, after sorting firms into size quintiles and then into liquidity quintiles, the average debt-to-asset ratio of the most liquid quintiles is about 38% while the average for the least liquid quintiles is 55%. Similar results are observed in panel analyses with clustered errors and using instrumental variables. Our results are consistent with equity market liquidity lowering the cost of equity and, therefore, inducing a greater reliance on equity financing.Capital structure Liquidity Market microstructure

    The Mode of Mortal Consciousness in 19th-Century Russian Poetry: Genesis and Ethnocultural Peculiarities

    The article was submitted on 02.07.2019.This article considers the genesis of death-related themes and the formation of the mode of mortal consciousness in the individual practice of modern Russian poets. The phenomenon of mortal consciousness, along with the understanding of the existential tragedy of man as a mortal being, emphasises special forms of overcoming the tragic state. The author substantiates the three most widely used concepts of immortality found in the works of Russian poets: 1) the concept of social immortality, dating back to Horace’s Exegi monumentum aere perennius…; 2) the concept of poetic immortality, based on the mythological topos of Elysium (originating in the works of Batyushkov and Zhukovsky); and 3) the concept of personalistic (existential) immortality. It is proved that, unlike the first two, the third concept of immortality is deeply personal and individually variable by nature, directly connected with the mode of mortal consciousness. Referring to the methods of contemporary ethnopoetics and contemporary historical and intertextual analysis, the author compares works by Derzhavin, Zhukovsky, Pushkin, Boratynsky, and Lermontov with non-Russian sources (Jung, Gray, Shakespeare, Chénier, and Byron), which makes it possible to eveal the evolution of foreign influences in Russian space and clarify the nature of the national reception of precedent texts as a result of ethnocultural factors. The most significant determinants of national culture are death, sleep, and love for a deceased lover. The texts of the Russian poetic tradition, considered in terms of ethnocultural peculiarities, are combined into supertext unities comparable to receptive cycles. Such supertext unities may be limited to the work of one author, as is confirmed with reference to Lermontov’s poems May 16, 1830, Night I, Death, The Last House-Warming, Dead Man’s Love, Sleep, Alone I Set out on the Road… At the same time, such unities may go beyond the boundaries of an individual oeuvre and into an intertextual dialogue between contemporaries, i. e. Pushkin’s elegy Breathing Youthfully with Sweet Hope…, The Vanished Joy of My Crazy Years… and Boratynsky’s poem From Chénier, in their appeal to Shakespeare’s precedent texts (monologue To be or not to be…) and those by Chénier (Elegy XXXVI).Статья посвящена проблеме генезиса мортальной тематики и вопросам формирования модуса смертного сознания в индивидуальной практике русских поэтов Нового времени. В феномене смертного сознания наряду с осмыслением экзистенциальной трагедии человека как смертного существа акцентируются особые формы преодоления трагического состоянии Дается обоснование трех концепций бессмертия, наиболее репрезентативно представленных в творчестве русских поэтов: 1) концепции социального бессмертия, идущей еще от «Памятника» Горация; 2) концепции поэтического бессмертия, опирающейся на мифологический топос Элизиума (зарождается в творчестве Батюшкова и Жуковского); 3) концепции персоналистического (экзистенциального) бессмертия. В отличие от предшествующих двух, последняя концепция более позднего происхождения и носит глубоко личностный и индивидуально-вариативный характер, непосредственно соприкасаясь с модусом смертного сознания. Используя методы современной этнопоэтики, сравнительно-исторического и интертекстуального анализа, автор проводит сопоставление произведений Державина, Жуковского, Пушкина, Боратынского и Лермонтова с иноязычными источниками (Юнг, Грей, Шекспир, Шенье, Байрон), что позволяет выявить спектр преломлений иностранных влияний на русской почве, уточнить характер национальной рецепции исходных текстов-прецедентов в результате воздействия факторов этнокультурного порядка. В качестве важнейших детерминант национальной культуры выступают ситуации сна-смерти и любви к мертвой возлюбленной. Рассматриваемые в аспекте этнокультурной специфики тексты русской поэтической традиции складываются в сверхтекстовые общности наподобие рецептивных циклов. При этом сверхтекстовые образования могут ограничиваться творчеством одного автора, что подтверждается на материале стихотворений Лермонтова «1830. Майя. 16 числа», «Ночь I», «Смерть», «Последнее новоселье», «Любовь мертвеца», «Сон», «Выхожу один я на дорогу». В то же время возможен выход и за границы индивидуального творчества, в сферу интертекстуального диалога поэтов-современников ‒ к элегиям Пушкина «Надеждой сладостной младенчески дыша…», «Безумных лет угасшее веселье…» и стихотворению Боратынского «Из Шенье» («Под бурею судеб, унылый, часто я…») – в их обращении к прецедентным текстам-сточникам Шекспира (монолог «Быть или не быть…») и Шенье (Элегия XXXVI)
