Kemampuan memahami materi telah banyak diteliti oleh banyak ahli. Namun, penelitian mengenai kemampuan memahami materi persamaan dan pertidaksamaan linear satu variabel masih sangat kurang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 2 Maros dalam memahami materi persamaan dan pertidaksamaan linear satu variabel. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri sebagai instrumen utama yang dipandu oleh tugas kemampuan memahami materi matematika dan pedoman wawancara yang valid dan reliabel. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara berbasis tugas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII Bilingual yang terdiri dari dua orang (1 orang subjek tinggi dan 1 orang subjek rendah ). Proses penelitian mengikuti tahap-tahap: (a) merumuskan indikator memahami dalam pemecahan masalah matematika berdasarkan teori dan penelitian yang relevan, (b) merumuskan instrumen pendukung (tugas kemampuan memahami materi matematika dan pedoman wawancara) yang valid dan reliabel, (c) melakukan pengambilan subjek penelitian, (d) melakukan pengambilan data untuk mengungkap kemampuan memahami, (e) melakukan triangulasi untuk mendapatkan data yang valid, (f) melakukan analisis data kemampuan memahami, (g) melakukan pembahasan hasil analisis, (h) melakukan penarikan kesimpulan hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Subjek kategori berkemampuan tinggi memiliki kemampuan memahami materi pada semua indikator pemahaman yaitu mencontoh, menafsirkan, mengklasifikasikan, merangkum, menyimpulkan, membandingkan, dan menjelaskan 2) Subjek kategori berkemampuan rendah hanya memahami materi yaitu menafsirkan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diatas, maka kemampuan memahami siswa dapat dijadikan acuan dalam mengembangkan model pembelajaran matematika untuk meningkatkan kemampuan memahami khususnya pada materi persamaan dan pertidaksaman linear satu variabel dan dapat digunakan sebagai dasar penelitian lebih lanjut yang bersifat verifikasi dan modifikasi.

Researches on comprehension capability have been studied by many experts. Nevertheless, research on comprehending equations and inequalities material of one variable linear is still lack. This research is a kind of qualitative research that tried to describe the capabality of the VIIth Grade Bilingual Students of SMP Negeri 2 Maros to comprehending equations and inequalities material of one variable linear, instrument of this research was researcher himself as the main instrument and was supported by assignment on capability to comprehend mathematics material as well as a valid and reliable interview guide. The data were collected through assignebt based interview. Subject of the research were students of bilingual class VII which consisted of two students (1 students with high capability and 1 students with low capability). Proces of the research included: a) formulating indicators of comprehending mathematics problem based on theory and relevant study, b) formulating supporting instrument which is valid and reliable, c) retrieving research subject, d) collecting data, e) conducting triangulation to get a valid data, f) analyzing data, g) discussing the result of data analysis, and h) drawing conclution. The result showed that (1) student with high capability comprehend the material of all indicators of comprehension, those are follow example, interpret, classify, summarize, draw conclution, compare, and explain, (2) subject with low capability only can comprehend the material of the indicators interpret. Based on the result, it can be concluded that students ability to comprehend the material can be used as areference to develop mathematics learning model to improve comprehension ability especially on the equations and inequalities material of one variable linear and also can be used as a basis for furtherverification and modification research

Electronic Storefront for PALAPES Product (e-PALAPES) / Nur Zulaikha Samsuddin
Full text linkPALAPES cadets need to do purchasing of uniforms and related equipments for their training as well as after their graduation. Currently the process of purchasing is conducted via physical stores that are qualified to sell PALAPES related products. These stores are limited in numbers and usually located away from the Cadets’ location. An e-commerce website has been developed to make the purchasing transaction process for PALAPES equipment easier. With the existence of an e- commerce website selling all the PALAPES related products helps cadets or the new officer to acquire uniforms and niche PALAPES equipment. The system is called Electronic Storefront for PALAPES Product (e-PALAPES) and was developed based on the adapted Waterfall Model of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This model has six (6) phases which are Planning, Analysis, Design, Development, Testing and Evaluation, as well as Documentation. e-PALAPES was tested by 30 respondents and 3 expert users. Overall, the highest mean received is 4.59 (SD=0.57) for customer touching applications, 4.69 (SD=0.47) for perceived ease of use, 4.55 (SD=0.63) for consistency, 4.41 (SD=0.57) for efficiency, 4.52 (SD=0.57) for satisfaction and 4.62 (SD=0.56) for user interface evaluation. As all means are above 4.00 and standard deviations (SD) are less than 1, it implies that the usability of the system is good and user response has only small dispersion. In the future, the system can be enhanced to include complete e-commerce system with the involvement of suppliers so that the cadets have several product choices based on quality and prices as well as able to buy in the wholesale quantity

Service restoration with the presence of distributed generation in a distribution system: article / Masruddin Samsuddin
Full text linkThis project studies the influence of distributed generation during service restoration and to identify the optimal network reconfiguration at the power distribution systems for loss reduction and voltage profile improvement under fault condition with the installation of distributed generation. It is assumed that after the occurrence of fault at particular section of a distribution network, the loads get disconnected and are left unsupplied. Service should be restored to the affected loads through a network reconfiguration procedure. The simulation was conducted by applying three phase fault at an identified location. In this study, network reconfiguration was implemented using the TOPO application in the power system simulation programmed for planning, design and analysis of distribution system (PSS/Adept). This application determines the optimal sectionalizing-tie switch pairs based on minimum losses configuration and at the same time, all nodes are assured for the supply. The location of the distributed generation was identified by finding the minimum bus voltage. The results show that installing distributed generation at the suitable location with appropriate sizing has able to provide lower loss level and higher voltage profile in fault condition as compared to that obtained before installed distributed generation and network reconfiguration. Full text linkThe development of microprocessor introduces Programmable Controller as a substitute for the electro-mechanical relay logic automation system. Most industrial processes require several operations to produce the required output. Thus, small size, reliable, flexible, simple programming and low cost programmable controller (PC) are used. The design of PC is based on the MC 6802 GPU which performs the scanning of the inputs and traverses the stored program in the EPROM and/or RAM line by line and logically or arithmetically combines the inputs and outputs as specified by the program and determine the appropriate output. The programmer consists of several special function keys where ladder diagram and mnemonic programming language is used to program the PC. The I/0 module provide the link between the controller and the process equipment/device to be controlled. The input interface provides the isolation between the equipment which includes pushbutton, limit swiches, sensors and optocoupler as an input conditioners and convert the input signal to a form acceptable to the controller. The output interface convert PC signal to a form which can be used by the process equipment through optocouplers

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian yang menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan
jenis penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Gambaran

Bontoramba Kabupaten Jeneponto, (3) Pengaruh Role playing terhadap
keterampilan berbicara siswa kls IV SDN 94 Karampuang Kecematan
Bontoramba Kabupaten Jeneponto. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah
penggunaan Role Playing, variabel terikatnya adalah keterampilan Berbicara.
Pemilihan sampel yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan teknik non probability
sampling jenuh, Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV yang
berjumlah 23 siswa terdiri dari 8 laki-laki dan 15 siswa perempuan. Teknik
pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi.
Data dikumpulkan dari pemberian tes pada ranah kognitif kemudian dianalisis
secara statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial menggunakan uji Paired sample
T-test. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1)
Gambaran penggunaan role playing dikatakan efektif. Hal ini terlihat tahapan
proses pembelajaran yang di amati pada setiap pertemuan melalui kegiatan siswa
maupun guru yang membuat proses pembelajaran berlangsung secara efektif. (2)
Gambaran keterampilan berbicara siswa, perolehan hasil pretest kelas eksperimen
masuk dalam kategori kurang dan kelas kontrol masuk dalam kategori sangat
kurang, sedangkan hasil posttest kelompok eksperimen masuk dalam kategori
sangat memuaskan dan posttest kelas kontrol masuk dalam ketegori kurang. Hal
ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan role playing terhadap keterampilan
berbicara siswa kelas IV SDN 94 Karampuang Kecamatan Bontoramba
Kabupaten Jeneponto. (3) Terdapat pengaruh pada model pembelajaran role
playing terhadap hasil keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas IV SDN 94
